Christopher Robin is a relatively tall guy, standing in at a clean six foot one. He’s pretty lanky, weighing in at barely a buck ninety, most of which comes from muscles. Cuttin’ the powder is
not an easy job, and it’s built him into a fairly muscular young lad. Whether it’s because of the height or not is a mystery, but Christopher Robin
oozes confidence in the way he carries himself, from the way he walks to his facial gestures. He’s cool, and he knows he’s cool. Straight fire, blazing a trail through the icy slopes of Colorado, and soon the world.
He’s almost always wearing a red beanie on his head, and usually has a pair of aviator sunglasses that he wears. When not on his eyes, the sunglasses hang on his the neck of his shirt, ready to be slipped back on whenever necessary. He has a pretty boy face, something that he can’t deny--even if he doesn’t particularly like it. His voice detracts from this, much deeper than one might imagine based on his looks.
Christopher Robin thrives in the cold, unlike some of his peers. As a result, he can dress much lightly than they do. Really, all he needs is jeans and the Burton hoodie and he’ll be ready to rock in even sub-zero temperatures--though he doesn’t mind thermals hidden underneath his clothes.

What You See:
Alright so. Christopher Robin himself is widely regarded as little more than a pot smoking snowboarding kid. It doesn’t help that he talks like he just came out of the 90s… or that he spends his lunch hours during the snowed in months outside, fucking around with his board or setting up spots for the younger kids to learn and grow… He’s not all that bad, he’s approachable, and if you can board at all he’ll friend you, and even ride with you--even if that sometimes mean riding slopes that are far below his skill level. It’s a bonding experience! Plus, he can make people learn to do it better if he’s watching.
Christopher Robin doesn’t have an ounce of hate in his body. He’s pretty much cool with everyone. Even if he doesn’t know someone very well, he’ll hold a mostly positive opinion of them. Innocent until proven guilty, and whatnot. He takes after his parents. Loves fun, loves the outdoors. He can’t handle being cooped up in classrooms for… ever, and he gets a little antsy as the day goes on. Fiddling with his pen, bouncing his legs, chewing on his pen, making paper airplanes… By the beginning of fifth period, Tigger is ready to BOUNCE.
What I Know:
A man obsessed with hitting the sickest runs possible, Christopher Robin is driven by determination and confidence born from past successes. He spends a lot of his time focused on snowboarding, even during school hours. He’s skirting by with low Cs, but who gives a fuck? High school transcripts aren’t gonna matter when he’s a world champion snowboarder. And he will be a world champion snowboarder.
Other than that, Christopher Robin is secretly...
A total sweetheart. He doesn’t fully realize it, but he’s a bit of a romantic deep down, underneath the snowboarding obsessed exterior. He’s always doing cute things for the girl that he loves, from putting one of her favorite candies in her locker for her to find, to making snowmen modeled after them… and then smashing through them on his board with her.
He’s a good kid and tries his best to be excellent to everyone. Everyone, no matter what skin color, ethnicity, nationality, gender, age, race, sexual preference, or locality. They’re all the same to him. Except for skiers.
Fuckers.
║ My Dreams ║What me? I want to do back-country boarding in Idaho by snowcat, fly by helicopter and jump onto knife edged snow capped peaks in Canada. It’d be sweet to go to New Zealand for a summer! Cruisin’ magnificently groomed trails, plungin’ down black diamond slopes, float in off piste powder… It’ll be glorious! I want my tombstone to read: “So many mountains, so little time.”
║ Fears ║- I fear one thing and one thing only. And that is fear itself.
- Okay, fine, also losing Lala.
- Lala of course. 60-40 Lala-snowboarding that’s my life. She’s been here since the beginnin’, bet she’ll be the one. Either that or, like, it’s me and the snow for life.
- Wifey. She’s been with me through thick and thin… Including that time I almost got caught in an avalanche… One day, maybe even one day soon, I’ll hang this board up. But not yet! She’s got a season left in ‘er!
- Building ramps is dope, definitely a highlight of my life. I like to build small tracks for the little ones back in the elementary school. Gotta start somewhere, and I don’t mind teachin’ ‘em neither. Might as well learn from the best, yeah?
- SNOW. I was debatin’ putting snow on here, but I’m going for it, brah. I love snow. I love touchin’ it, throwin’ it, shreddin’ it, buildin’ with it. When there’s freshies out on the slopes, mmmm.
- A final word: hot cocoa with marshmallows in it. Dope, dank, sick, sweet, so many words. If you hand me a cup of hot chocolate after I get done with a day of boardin’, I am your man for life.
- Skiers. Thing of the past...
- Summer. Summer is cool and all, like all my friends are happy and shit, but there ain’t no snow. No snow no snowboarding. I’ve found ways to fight through the pain, like, weed, wakeboarding, skateboarding, and dirtbikes, but man. If I could live somewhere that always had, and I mean always had fresh pow in the morn for me to rip up? I’d be on cloud nine.
- People who think smoke shacks are a bad thing. In what universe is a warm cabin on the slopes where you can blaze one with your buds a bad thing? Get with the times, NBC!
Austin and
Amber Bishop were eighteen and madly in love when the unthinkable happened: they won the Powerball Lotto jackpot of 403 million dollars. With a very sudden injection of money into their otherwise empty wallets, the newlyweds were suddenly very rich. Austin wisely took just over half of it and stuck it into savings accounts and an investment portfolio, deciding that he and his wife could probably live on 175 million dollars for the rest of their lives.
You know, probably.
Both of them were snowboarding fanatics, they did the only reasonable thing: ski bum around the globe. From the Swiss Alps, to the island of New Zealand, to Canada, to Greenland, to Tahoe in California, and their own backyard in Breckenridge, Colorado.
Four years along the line, they
accidentally wound up pregnant, but hey. Didn’t really stop them, it just sort of
slowed them. They’d already hit all the international slopes, so it was in Breckenridge they stayed, purchasing a house and a bit of land in a nearby small(miniature, really) town called Westworth, figuring that they’d raise their child in a small town like they themselves had grown up in. Regardless, throughout the early months of the pregnancy, they spent as much time as possible in their home resort of Breck, shredding the slopes and ‘introducing’ their child to their sport.
Then came the dry season of June through November, and Austin learned on a personal level just how bitchy a pregnant woman could be. Luckily for him, it passed by (relatively) quickly, and in time November 16th rolled around. Opening day of the season at Breck.
November 17th, the second day of the season at Breckenridge, Amber and Austin were given the gift of a happy, healthy, baby boy. There was little debate over the name--Austin had known that Amber would name their child Christopher Robin regardless of what he said. Since they’d been together, way back in high school, Amber had always
loved the 100 Acre Woods, and he’d been expecting it since they’d found out it was a boy. Hey, this meant he could call their child Tigger. Win/win.
Christopher Robin is one of the few people born on a ski resort, and the record shows that fate wouldn’t have let him stray from the snow if he wanted to. As soon as he could walk, he was sledding in it on tracks built by his father, by the time he was
five, he had his first board. A match made in heaven, the only thing that would ever resonate as well with Christopher Robin as the snow and the board, was his next door neighbor: Lorelei Foxley.
Were they meant to be from the beginning? Maybe not, but Lorelei quickly became Christopher Robin’s best friend, if only because the girl’s family lived next to his. When Christopher Robin turned seven, his father offered him a choice: they could either travel again and he could be homeschooled, or they could stay here. The young boy’s response was simple: ‘I want to go to school with Lala.’ And so the decision was made; the Bishops would stay there forever.
When asked, Christopher Robin struggles to explain exactly
when he and Lala became a ‘thing.’ It was always inevitable, Amber thinks, and when forced to
actually pin down a date, Christopher Robin will hesitantly suggest fourth grade. While perhaps not
perfectly accurate, that was when they had their first kiss, and one of his fondest memories.
It wasn’t even his fault! Lorelei hadn’t wanted to leave her room, and Amber had suggested that the Foxleys borrow Winnie the Pooh, who she felt almost always cheered up Lorelei. After Austin had told his son to ‘go get ‘er, prince charming.’ Taking that literally, Christopher Robin had let himself into Lala’s room. He made a solid attempt to get her attention and to cheer her up! Really, he did. But she wouldn’t stop pretending to sleep! After a few minutes, though, it finally dawned on him: he was her prince charming! Duh.
So, he’d kissed her.
She woke up.
Love blossomed.
Sure, there were arguments and jealous rage that flared up (it wasn’t Christopher Robin’s fault that he was cute and girls looked at him!), but October 23rd is what Christopher Robin considers his official anniversary date with the love of his life (geeze, is the 7th one coming up already?!).
Well, one of the
two loves of his life. The other one of course, is his snowboard. Christopher Robin is a prodigy on the slopes, shredding and destroying them like he’s been doing it all his life--because he has. Back-country riding, double black diamonds, shredding through the forests near his home town… it all comes too easily to him.
He carves his board across fresh powder like it was an extension of his soul.
He glides through the air like he was born to fucking fly.
Christopher Robin can do flat ground 720s, quadruple black flips, and confidently drop off a sheer cliff onto the icy snow that’s waiting for him. All of that, and more. He looks like a magician, and happily records every run on his Go-Pro and encourages his peers and fellow students to try and keep up. It’d be a waste if they didn’t take advantage of the land around them.
Already, gold medals, blue ribbons, and trophies from various competitions line the walls of his house. The best part?
He’s only gonna get better.
