@Lord Wraith I like that, though it would come down to whether Universorum wants to be nerfed while on a team with the vampire. I suppose we could limit it to it being a set, negligible distance between the two before it starts to take affect. Also, if the telepathic attack was psionic in nature, would William be able to resist it?
I imagine William could absorb psionic energy from a telepathic attack, I feel like he should have an 'overload' mechanic to not completely 'eat' psychics. I don't recall if you put something like that on the sheet or not, and I'm too lazy to check. Sue me.
@Lord Wraith Speaking of power interactions... I read a bit more on X-Men as I haven't known much to start with but... Emma Frost's diamond form makes her immune to telepathy and Hollie has a similar power, so does she get immunity, too?
I would say it wouldn't. Emma's immunity in diamond form comes from her own telepathy. Which she is very skilled at - powerful enough to rival Jean Grey and Charles Xavier.
Edit: My reasoning was incorrect - Emma just straight up isn't human in her diamond form. Hollie covers her body in gemstones, Emma becomes Diamonds. Telepathy should still work just fine on Hollie.
