Nothing ever ends poetically. It ends and we turn it into poetry. All of that blood was never once beautiful. It was just red.

@Hillan

Wouldn't really bother Jackal specifically since he's essentially fire proof, and the way he is holding Marxo and melany would protect them from being burned. However I imagine the ship isn't going to last long if its on fire, thanks Xerxes.

Fair enough.

Thanks, Obama Xerxes.

@Dragonmancer

I wanna point out that the entire ship is on fire, since Xernes lit Johnny's smoke on fire. Wasn't sure you caught that in your post.

Love the way you all just de-constructed my powers lol.

Glad you all came to a understandable conclusion.

I mean, I think it only seems fair that he can only manipulate things he can see are red.

Doesn't mean Haki would be useless, he'd just have to control the Red before imbuning it with Haki.

Loopholes.

One could've expected Pirates to be uneducated, they had never gotten trained in combat, they were all self-taught. Their skills and tactics hadn't been formed by years of hard training, hours of studying the art of war of the commanders and generals that came before. They hadn't been taught guerrilla tactics, using your smaller numbers to beat an overwhelming foe. But most importantly, they didn't know compassion. Not for others, and not for one and another. That was why, in the end, the legacy of these pirates would fade, and their way of living would not stand the test of time. Where the ways of villany, cruelty and hatred would falter. Compassion, truth, and Justice would always stand tall.

This, was a perfect example of that. Once Johnny had dispersed, the dashed around the deck, filling the floor with two meter-thick smoke, as thick as the foggiest cloud. Depriving the pirates of oxygen. Johnny watched as the group would struggle to breath - and then he saw the spark fly from the man in the mask. Surprised, Johnny dashed into the Captain's cabin, closing the door behind him, the smoke still thick on the deck, the smoke ignited, a firey explosion erupted on the deck, explosion loud enough to break the door off of it's hinges. Johnny stood on the side of it, the door blowing past him at quite a high speed. He grinned.

"You ever think before you blow shit up?" Johnny shouted, lighting another cigarette, the flames erupting high, burning through the deck, climbing up the mast.

"You know, I was almost a little worried when I saw how you fought with LT.Silverback, but now you just did my job for me!" Johnny shouted, with a chuckle. Arming his pistols, he grabbed both of them and walked out of the cabin, aiming them at Xerxes. "Now, get on your god damn knees and put up your hands." He rose his eyebrow, keeping one pistol trained at Xerxes, and aimed the other one on the guy laying on the floor - the one he recalled seeing a bounty posted for - The one who was the reason for their name. Their captain.

I got a post up. Sorry about the wait, I'd been battling for some inspiration of how I wanted it to pan out.

Evelyn is kind of a lousy psychic. She should have seen that coming.

Award for most short-lived character goes to...

And they would've gotten away with it, if it wasn't for these meddling Marines.

Just as Johnny was about to draw his guns on the explosive man in the mask, he was cut short by literally getting cut, a wave of energy tore through him - not doing any damage thanks to his powers, but it tore up the entire area, sending debris falling ontop of them, allowing the pirate to seemingly escape. The rocks fell on him, but they phased straight through him as his skin turned into smoke upon contact, him wrapping around the rocks without any effort. Instead, he followed the Pirate in the mask. He was perhaps being too liberal with his Soru technique to keep up, but he made it to the ship at the time the man in the mask asked who the Marine could but assume was the ship's medic for medical attention. As they did, Johnny appeared on the railing of the ship, holding one of his pistols in his hand, aiming at the doctor.

"Hi." He spoke, softly, cigarette in his hand. "You know, you probably thought you were gonna get away. But you're not that lucky. You guys are grossly out numbered, and outgunned, and it would be in your best interest to just surrender right now." Johnny said. "I only really have to bring a couple of you with me alive." He spoke, pulling back the hammer on his pistol as it was aimed on the nurse.

"Nice Arm." He told Xernes, with a scoff.

Lightning-fast, he changed his aim and fired the bullet at the masked man's shoulder, the one Anaru hadn't broken. "You lot killed a lot of good people today. I, Johnny Tabakomi, Ensign of the 99th Division, cannot let such crimes go unpunished." Flipping the cigarette off of the railing, into the sea.

The ship was sailing, and as such, Johnny dispersed in a poof of smoke, a wave of smoke covered the entire deck of the ship, depraving the pirates of oxygen if they didn't move. "I know at least two of you are devil fruit users, and you're either gonna suffocate, or surrender.

Sancho F. Graham
Kingslayer

Loguetown, East Blue.

Having followed Church out, they soon fine Samehana, sitting on a building. That girl had such a knack for getting into trouble. Sancho grunted as he saw the Marines next to her. - He had a bit of a problem with the Marines. They kind of ticked him off. But then again, he had been chased by Grandline marines in his younger days when he, as a Shinra soldier, had been on foreign soil. In comparison, these clowns were nothing more than that. He turned to Church, looking at the Cafe, trouble was probably unavoidable at this point. And he needed a Log Pose.

.. At the same time, if there were this many Marines here, who's guarding the Harbor? A grin crept up on Sancho's face. "You know what, guys? This isn't worth out time." Sancho said, heading towards the row of Marines whom were just about to fire into the Cafe. "Out of the way." He commanded, and hte Marine didn't move. "We're a group of innocent civilians. I happen to be part of the East Blue Bugle. Do you want the headline tomorrow to be 'Marine Seaman holds journalist hostage', hm?" Sancho lied through his teeth, the Marine felt a great unease, and backed off. "W-What about those two?" He asked, pointing at the poncho-wearing gunslinger, and the buxom fishwoman.

"Bodyguard and lover. You figure out who's who." Sancho said, his voice dry with sarcasm, as the three started walking towards the dock, hearing the gunfire erupt behind them. "You know, guys. I sometimes wonder if all Marines are this stupid?" He said, pointing his finger back at the docks that were a few blocks away. "We should hurry." He mentioned.

"We got a ship to.. Commandeer."

I mean, that sounds to me like something he wouldn't be able to do. The Haki turns it black. If it's not the visible color that counts, then Bogard would be able to affect everyone, since we've all got red stuff under the skin.

All right, I'll try and smack out a Sancho and Johnny post today, got kind of T-Boned by work and school today. Also, 30 degrees celcius here in Sweden isn't OK.

We're equipped to deal with -30 just fine. But fuck out of here with this heat.

Nacho and Loki, youm ight wanna chill with the posting for a bit. (Or at least not move too far.) As me, Ryo, and Pacifista are working on something with our Marines that will probably make shit go down.

Obviously, we can adapt.
