Current Posted a Game Master Guide in the Guides section. If you need help with GMing, refer to it for some handy advice. If you don't need help, then don't read it.

Bio

Hello all. I am an experienced writer who is writing my own fiction stories on the side. I can role play any genre. What I love most is being able to go-all-out when weaving tales with other writers. It just makes the story more interesting, so I can't wait to write with you. :)

Guile noticed a tall shadow tumble over his shoulder and he turned his head to the right to see an older woman wearing white—of all colors. She was dressed like she had stepped out of a fashion magazine for middle-aged rich women. Did she have no respect? Her inquiry about the party had answered that question. Cloud said nothing. Instead, he rose from his seat and headed toward the front of the congregation to pay Luigi his respects. Guile looked away from the witch after her vain and vulgar declarations. He instead looked ahead at Luigi—the one who would continue to suffer after everyone would sweep his brother’s death under the rug.

“You should learn some respect,” Guile told Bayonetta without looking at her. He wasn’t Mario’s brother, but he knew what it felt like to lose soldiers and Mario was that to him—one of his soldiers. Since Luigi was in command, he had blamed him. It was always the leader’s fault and he felt that Luigi needed to learn to take responsibility for anyone who dies whether he was directly or indirectly responsible for them. Deep down, Guile wondered if Mario had been the leader would there have been any causalities. Guile always thought Mario was a buffoon, but he surprised him every time by demonstrating why he was the champion of not just the Mushroom Kingdom, but Nintendo. Luigi had some big shoes—or more like, suspenders to fill. “Mario was a brother, and one of my soldiers. You will not disrespect him or anyone from the Mushroom Kingdom in my presence if you wish to continue working for me.”

Amidst all the weeping and merry-going, it came swift and it came sudden. It was a black and green streak, speeding toward Luigi from his right. As soon as it passed before the altar, time slowed momentarily to allow Luigi and maybe even Hapu to see a limbless hand fire out to grasp the vial of Mario particles and the red cap that had been on top of it before retracting. The stolen item disappeared into its green circular sack and the black cat thief was gone, having morphed into a black streak that was darting through the gardens toward the castle walls.

Guile abruptly rose from his seat, staring in shock at the altar where Mario’s remains had once been. Rosalina had jumped from the passing breeze caused by the swift thief as it had dashed by and looked over at the altar to see that Mario was missing. Her hands went to her face as she gasped:

“Oh no! Mario!” She then looked at Luigi. “I’ll have my Lumas follow it!”

“Lumas!” she summoned.

Three stars winked into existence: one white, one yellow, and one red. They hovered before the cosmic Nintendo princess like loyal guards.

“Follow that thief! He’s trying to escape the Castle!”

The Lumas snapped a salute with their pointy hands and launched into the air like sparkling comets flying in an invert V formation.

“You can follow my Lumas to see where the thief is going.”

Cloud raced over to Luigi (if he was still standing there), Hapu, and Rosalina. “I’m gonna see if I can intercept him outside the castle!”

Cloud wasn’t sure the thief was going to get that far, but if it managed to, he planned to be waiting to give chase. The creature was too fast for him to follow on foot and it seemed hopeless to chase the thing through the gardens.

Guile shouted next, “Follow the thief! Don’t try to stop it! It must have a master!”

What did a thief want with Mario’s hat and particles? Guile could only suspect that the creature wasn’t doing it for free. What thief ever stole objects that had no monetary gain?

You guys are free to control the NPCs as long as you aren't stupid with them. That's why they're there. I will not be GMing every NPC in existence unless I have a GM event planned for that specific establishment. I couldn't figure out why everyone was tagging me every post and then what they're tagging weren't the NPCs I currently had down in the GM post (but yeah, I figured it out now).

To answer the currency question, Platform City takes all form of currency...except Souls. Only special NPCs take those.
@TalijaKeyI have internet now. I just needed to transfer it to the new building. Ugh, let me see how I can get this game moving again. I don't want there to be a Pokemon Battle so soon. They just got to the bonfire! But that's all I got in my head. I had actually planned for that battle to happen on the next day. This bonfire moment was supposed to let people catch up and interact with each other.
@RaijinslayerI honestly would just move on and next time Vix is online you can recap the events. It sucks that you based your entire character on her existence. Hopefully if Jaden interacts with others, then that'll resurrect your muse.
@Etherean Fire@CrosswireI am going to be discharged soon. It was serious but I am better. I had my boss cover my place for when the Internet guy showed up. I have net so the event is still on.

You can do what you want with BK, make a new slot in the thread or edit his CS in alongside your other one.
@Etherean FireI finally got around to this. Amidst moving into a new place, which I did successfuly, I am currently in the hospital. I got put there last night and I am waiting to be released. Your CS approved.

I have been trying to get internet. The internet guy was sent to the wrong building yesterday so hopefully today, he will get there because what he does takes 5 min...then I can work on the Smash event tomorrow. If I don't give you an update later, then the event may have to be delayed unless I can write it on my phone. This was meant to be somewhat of a mass message but yeah, writing from phone and hospital bed. u.u
@TalijaKeyI moved into a new building that is a black hole for internet and phone service. I am going to be transfering my internet service tomorrow so hopefully the router will allow people to get in touch with me. Otherwise...oh well lol. They'll contact me when they can. Worst case scenario, I got to sit outside my building.

I am changing buildings and the one I am moving into is brand new. Unfortunately, because it is brand new it doesn't have...I am not an engineer but a device that pushes out internet service so it is a black hole. I plan to move my router over so hopefully that will get a signal out there for my phone and internet to work lol. It's bad because no one will be able to call me for shit. Any who, I will hopefully get it fixed tomorrow. If not, well, as I said, everyone has until their Friday. Worst case scenario, I'll tether outside my building.

No one is under any obligation to have their character wait around at the funeral for the GM post. Your character can go wherever. I know Bayonetta is currently frozen in time waiting for a response. Try to avoid setting yourselves up for that. You can avoid that by requesting a collaborative post for dialogue purposes.

1. Reminder: The Smash Arena will take place this weekend. I will write it my Saturday your Friday because I am a day in the future for those who are in the U.S. The Smash Arena is a PVP/PVE event for some. It has a SL purpose and everyone participating will receive an achievement. The Smash event will happen before any of the missions. It is NOT an XP event. It is NOT an XP event. It is NOT an XP event. The winner will be able to choose ONE item from a group of very nice and useful items. Whatever they choose will affect the story. It may result in an opportunity opened up or an opportunity closed. I will not tell you the outcome, you'll just see it happen. If you have questions about the Smash Arena, wait until the Arena actually goes into affect. I will not answer any questions before then.

2. Big Game: We have become a huge game. When several people are asking me questions or demanding for my attention, depending on whether I find the question pertinent or not I may or may not answer to preserve my sanity. So please try to ask me only necessary questions and ask other questions to the rest of the group. If the group can't answer them, then they must be GM questions.

Also, CSes are going to get lost. I will lose them in PMs and in the OOC because I just had a wave of questions and PMs to go through. Be patient. I'll get to you. If 24 hr go by and you didn't get an answer, resumbit it. I more than likely forgot.

Seeing as this was just a temporary wave of new people to include secondary approvals, I expect everything to calm down once everyone is approved. But yes, if you are a person who likes asking a million questions, ask the group before you ask me. Unless you know for sure that what you are asking is a GM question.

3. Co-GMs: I have contemplated having Co-GMs to help with the admin side of things since some individuals have demonstrated knowing what to look for when accepting CSes. Co-GMs can also opt to GM a mission. This game has a pretty active turnover rate with players. They come; they go; they disappear forever lol. Majority tend to remain, and so I do expect this game to grow larger. But if there is anyone who feels they can handle being a Co-GM and can handle admin and GMing missions, let me know. I am not desperately in need of any at this time, but having them before this game gets larger will allow me to work with them so they can get a feel for what I look for and how I run things.
@TalijaKeyWe're always accepting. I want to get this game out of the stand still it is in over one player. So I plan to continue onward with events.
@DracoLunarisWe still have characters who need to choose a world and you can't play two of your characters in the same mission.
