Current putting yourself out there is scary, yes. but you rob yourself and others of those positive and welcoming interactions you might have. high risk, high reward. you've got this, friend.

Added classes and clubs! I've also started putting together some lore ideas and a direction to sort of take things. I'm going to fill out the starting rumor/plot hook in the IC thread if you'd like to take a look there. It is still subject to change pending plot hook ideas that come from characters and their relationships as they are created.

I'm actually quite excited to see how your characters handle some of this plot! <3
@Izurich

Notes:
- LOVE the art you chose.
- that full title is hilariously a mouth full and I love it.
- Strengths/Weaknesses - I think these are fine as is as long as her Stubbornness gets her into trouble. I.E. She's too stubborn to admit that that scary dark forest is too much for her so she goes in anyway and then screams for help when it's too much.
- Skills - Being a first year 15 year old, I imagine the skills would be a bit more heavier on the novice side of things. However, with her upbringing much of the skills that she has make sense for her to have. So I think they're fine. Just be mindful that if you start too high, there's not much room for growth. I'd be interested to know what direction you see her Character growth going.
- Power - I LOVE the power, and I like the built in weakness it has. My only concern plot wise is with her enchantment skill, actually. I think I'm going to allow it, but my reasoning is because I think that if she uses it on someone, she will lose reputation with them and will find it hard to make and keep friends if they find out she's been enchanting them. She'll also likely deal with some self-doubt in wondering if people liking her is her magic or herself. So as long as you discuss with any writer she might use the power on before doing so, I'm fine with it. For example, Karmilla wants Character A to do her a favor, she needs some intel from Character B. But she knows Character A would never get it for her without a little persuasion. You'd need to discuss with at least the writer of Character A how their character would react to being enchanted and if they even could be. Maybe they have a very strong will.
Adolescence - Idk why this made me laugh so much, but it did.

Let me know if you have any questions regarding my feedback, if you're in agreeance, then consider her accepted.

@The Savant

I'm excited to see them!

Edit: Also, idk why but this has given me the idea to use Fire Emblem characters for rando one-off npcs. Lol.

I'm slowly adding to him as of now. I might have a lot of questions when I actually get into specialty and powers/abilities because I have no plan for any of those right now.

Honestly fair!

If anyone wants to look at what I have so far. Here it is. There isn't much.

Looks great so far! I look forward to seeing more!
@dianthuspetals

Tentatively interested! I'm a bit lazy when it comes to historical accuracy, so as long as you're willing to be kind and patient with me. (I.E. "Hey, just to let you know. It's actually more like x in this time period.")

What really interested me was Modern Day Royalty! I'm not entirely sure where to take that. I get a lot of "blank canvas" artists block but I'd be happy to brainstorm something. There's a lot we can do with it. One of the plots I did a long time ago involved more fantasy aspects, bridal sacrifices sent to demon nobles, etc. But totally understand if that's not your cup of tea.

No hard feelings if you're not interested at all. <3

If you need help with the spreadsheet, please let me know! Instructions within~

EDIT: Here's my copy in case you want to see how it looks. I'm slowly filling info for the Duel Coordinator. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/19zmR4…

@The Savant

You're welcome to create two! Depending on how many folks we get, I'm going to try to keep it to one character per person. But I don't mind people creating two to start with even if we end up only needing one per person. If that makes sense.
@HylianRose

I have an idea about a character but I want to ask before I get off work and start really dabbling in creating this character. I'm planning on making them at least mildly to full blind. In the sense of that, I haven't thought about it too much but the best they would be able to see is hues/shadows/lights and at worst they see nothing.

Do you believe a character with that disability would be an appropriate attribute to this party or no?

I have no problems with you creating a blind character. So, unless anyone else has any major issues with it, I think you'll be fine to get started.
Please feel free to begin working on characters! I'm currently working on designing a spreadsheet that will make filling out the spreadsheet easier (at least in my mind) and will be posting that once I've finished.

Basically, you can fill out the sheet with the information and it will auto-input the data into the format for you. So you don't have to change the color for every single line.

Rose: I'm lazy.
Also Rose: but spreadsheets are fun.

I thought First Years were 15? Sorry.

In England, you graduate from high school at 16, taking exams at the end of the school year for Advanced Levels (GCE A-Levels), Ordinary Levels (GCE O-Levels), and General Certificates of Secondary Education (GSE).

16 is also when you can get a job, enlist in the military (although I think the Brits are unique in that), and legally drink.

Not sure how other European nations do schooling. Is this a private high school or a private college? Or a private academy with both a high school and college program?

I'm going to be real with you here. I don't know much about how schooling is done in Europe and I'm not super keen on trying to dig into learn how it is done. While I do want the RP to be something that people spend time on making a good story, I also want it to be fun and not work. And for me, that means assuming that this is a private school that follows American ideas of schooling because I'm a lazy America who only understands k-12 lingo. lmao.

I apologize if that comes across rude or makes you lose interest but I really just want something fun and casual.

To answer, I'd also imagine this is an academy with both high school and college programs. So, let's assume it's an international school? idk.

Took the words right out of my mouth, I think we can have a minus or plus one year wiggle room. Someone who entered the school earlier, right on 'schedule', or later, so then we'll have 15, 16, or 17 as PC age choices, quite the range if you ask me. Then, of course, they'll grow up over the course of the RP with each school year.

This isn't even including "outliers" such a genius prodigy who started really early or a delinquent who began quite late, both cases I've seen happened IRL.

All in all, I wouldn't worry about being too restrictive in IC age choices. Unless someone wants to play a 50-year-old first year or somethin'...

Lol, fair enough. We can say characters should be between the ages of 15 and 17, unless otherwise approved by the GM.
<Snipped quote by HylianRose>

I'm afraid it'll spread the playerbase too thin with that method, I say either we restrict the PCs to first years only then progress through the IC together, or we narrow the power level gap, or we do away with the "major/minor" distinction of the Skills section and just list each entry then judge them on a case-by-case basis.

Personally, I like the first one the most because it's both more convenient to organize OOCly and IC progression feels more tangible when the PCs advance into the next year.

The Knight Club. 😎

I'll wait for others to weigh in on that, but I'm okay with everyone starting as first years! Just means everyone will have to play a 16 year old character, unless they want to play someone who has been held back a year for whatever reason.
