 Whelp, here's where you learn a little bit about me whether you like it or not. Hi! You can call me Effie or ineffable or basically whatever you'd like but welcome to my little corner of the guild! I've been here for about 5 years, starting on my adventure in roleplaying in a free roleplay and moving my way up towards more high casual roleplays, which is what I'm working on right now. You can find me a lot in Slice of Life roleplays and every so often in Fantasy or Sci-fi. As for a little bit about me: I love 80s era movies and music and play an inhumane amount of video games. I am also kind of low key addicted to Dungeons and Dragons and a total bookworm with a favoring towards contemporary fiction. EPISODE V: Apollex
Apollex stared down at her knobbly knees in shock. Her fingers met dry silver hair and split ends when she reached to touch it. She glanced in a reflective surface and found that she looked like her dear old Nana Farrell. She even had wrinkles! And she smelled like lemon cleaning detergent and mothballs. Not the best of smells.
"What the-" That was before she tried to take a step and nearly fell over. She looked around at her comrades, eyes straining against all of the various lights in the room. She noticed The Rookie (@Sir Lurksalot) battling it out with Monny and made to go to them. She was slower, much slower than she was supposed to be. Her knees buckled under her weight and she swore as she tried to haul herself up right again. Did she really need a walking stick?
"Don't worry, Rookie! I'm coming to help!"She coughed.
As she made her way through the space she looked around at her fellow elders. They all looked like her grandparents back at home and if there wasn't some sort of battle going on she would've found it comical. What she didn't find comical, however, was how some of the supposed heroes had suddenly turned into loathsome creatures. Honestly, they were all going to kill each other and she wasn't even sure if her healing powers worked.
Damn it all.
Quick question because I keep on mentally rewriting the draft: where are we and what's going on as of this moment?

Shay sighed. Another party? She'd had her fair share of parties back at home. Not that she went. She leaned against the desk, scribbling a couple of small notes about smuggling the old, loyal Shaker (her car) into the academy onto her notebook. If she just had Shaker she could probably get out of here quickly and with the comrades she chose.
"Anyways, I'm not that hyped out about any parties. If there are no motors then there won't be a Shay" . She laughed at her stupid motto before raising her head
"Wanna go break into some teacher garage and get some cars? I haven't been joyriding in a long time. You can go and get your motorcycle even. It's a good deal..." she sing songed. Better than stupid parties where people hooked up and generally made a nuisance of themselves anyway.
