With Ellyn complying and out of the blue hugging him, his eyes widened in surprise with his cheeks flushing an almost unnoticeable light red, especially under the guise of darkness. After the ever sudden hug, she left. He just stood there in shock, until Artos felt another weave of mana situating near the dwarf. This time Artos didn't snap Red Trinity outside the holster, instead when the blinding light hit his eyes, and with 'Mind's Eye' still on, it stung. Quickly dispelling said spell, he looked towards the Dwarf, "A warning would be nice, Dwarf." Artos scowled, covering his eyes and placing his hood deeper under his eyes.

When the light dispersed, it was shown that the couple was doing something under the hood. "Atleast do it in the wagon." he said, looking towards the flushed couple. While everyone was jeering and taunting at said couple, Artos just stood there with a blank face and deeply sighed. All of a sudden a new face entered, a female and from what Artos could guess, some sort of magician. The flushed archer suddenly picked her bow up and aimed towards the woman. "Put the weapon away, lest it's a monster, we need not threaten or hurt anything." he said, motioning his hands to put her weapon down.

A shriek resounded through a doorway, and pulling Red Trinity out of her home, he rushed to the darkened way. Vivian and Garekk had disappeared from them, and it doesn't take a genius to know they both went in the darkness. Entering the rather foreboding and damp darkness, with the little light coming from outside he saw Garekk holding an unconscious Vivian. Casting a spell to try and see through the darkness, "Ignis" he chanted, with a single fire dancing around his left hand's index finger. Running down the flight of steps, he placed his hand on Ellyn who casted a spell with her harp. He noticed Garekk was aiming his weapon at the abyss, "What's the situation Garekk?" he asked, eyeing the unconscious Drow.

While his armor was enchanted to ward off spells, it seems like it was incomplete, his eyes beginning to feel heavy after the spell cast by Ellyn and soon hitting the floor with a loud thud.

Throughout the class, Miller's hand was shaking- no vibrating, to the point where his hand looked blurred. With a worried expression he tried hard to conceal his trembling hand. What- What's happening to my hand. he thought anxiously. His hand physically passed through his English book, and with widened eyes he swiftly removed it. I- I've heard of this, I thought it was just theory. Atoms lining up directly to phase through physical objects, but you would need inhumane speed to accomplish it. I think it was called quantum tunneling... he began recounting a theory he had read about once, looking down at his hand.

"Mr. Wells, is there something more interesting in your desk than this lesson?" the teacher asked, "N- No sir." he replied with a bead of sweat running down his face. The lesson continued for thirty more minutes until the bell rang, to which Miller slung his bag over his shoulder and placed his quivering hand in his pocket. Quickly shuffling outside the class, and with sweat pouring down his face he made his way towards his dorm, that were given to all students. Breaking into a full on sprint, and his vision turning the hallway, the students and everything else into a blur of speed. He passed by some students who apparently bumped into each other, and how Miller was seeing this at his high speed, he didn't know, all he knows is that what followed his sprint was a strong gust of wind.

Reaching the front of his door, he stopped and hurriedly fishing through his bag and grabbing his key and entering his dorm. He placed his back against his door, and slid down on his door with his face resting on his hands. "What is going on, did- did I just race from the class room and my dorm in around 40 seconds?" he said outloud, trying to assure that he wasn't dreaming or imagining anything. "Is this like the comic books- The Red streak?" he continued, getting up and going to his fridge as he was peckish. Making a quick meal, he ate it at a quick pace, continuously pondering what has happened to him, all he knows is that he now- somehow has superspeed.

Name:
Miller Wells

Age:
17

Gender:

Male

Appearance:

Backstory:
His childhood consisted of moving around, moving to new towns occasionally. He was usually bullied for not attaining social skills due to his parents frequent change of jobs and moving to the areas of said jobs. He would always try to run away from the bullies, sometimes he would get away but he would normally get caught and get beaten. His parents were always busy with work, so he was a tad neglected and hence he became independent, learning household skills fairly quickly.

His highschool life was relatively better than his childhood life, not popular but the bullying was lessened to a great degree. He is fairly intelligent, and so did not have much trouble with studies. He also joined track club, getting used to running from his earlier life, and frankly, enjoyed it. He was also gaining friends, and close ones. He was happy for a time, until his parents had to move again, and begrudgingly let his newfound friends go. He soon moved to a town in Oregon called St. Portwell, and was applied to Coppersworth academy.

Power:
Enhanced Speed;
Miller's ability is his enhanced speed, it awakened one day and he noticed that he could run, really fast, not to the point of breaking the sound barrier or anything but his speed was notable. Miller does not know his top speed, only recently gaining his awakened power. The power does not come without disadvantages, prolonged usage will gravely affect his underdeveloped physique, and cause greater strain on his muscles and bones. It also causes him to run out of energy quickly, as running at his top speed causes his metabolism to run rampant and consume all of the energy his body preserves. Meaning after lengthened use of his enhanced speed, he WILL need to eat alot to regain his energy, and if he doesn't it might cause him to faint or worse.
