@Inertia Hmm. I believe the phrase that Sophia would use to describe Alden is "stuffy". He's a perfectionist, whereas she's a wild child. Alden could very well be one of the people who teased her for her silence.

She might make a few comments regarding a wooden object located in an uncomfortable part of his anatomy if he's particularly rude to her, but otherwise she won't pay him much attention unless she needs to.

Hal could definitely relate and empathize with Alden's problems and personal life, but might feel like he's a bit of a downer, so they might be better suited as acquaintances than true friends.

@Inertia Hmm... I get the feeling they wouldn't get along very well.

It kinda feels like they'd be at odds, even down to their fashion. Alden's a perfectionist that's kinda rude, and Blake's the kind of guy who's fine with getting things about right and wants to be as nice as possible. Alden's behavior would probably strike a few of Blake's sour spots.

Also their fashion. Blake's bland as all heck about his fashion sense and gets Dad Haircuts while Alden's all prim and proper.

If he poked fun at that he'd definitely be on Blake's shit Dislike List!

Anyway it's perfect, it's unrealistic that all characters would get along in the beginning after all.

I find that including a personality section is helpful since A. It gives me starting point of traits that I can build from with my own characters, and B. It helps me gauge how I think other characters will react to what I'm doing, and thereby hopefully orchastrate better situations between people.

Appearance:

Alden stands at about 5'8". His body is kept at the fit side of things, as Alden cares about his appearance the most. He dresses prim and posh. Most of his effort goes towards his clothing and fashion sense. He gravitates towards black and a darkish hue of blue. His hair is a dark maroon brown, which is always properly styled. The most outstanding feature are his teal-coloured eyes, the eyes almost seem to pierce right through you. It seems that he is also fairly attractive according to some of his classmates, but he simply scoffs at this.

Personality:

Alden had become a perfectionist over the years, because of him secretly striving for his parents attention. Everything he does, he tries to do to the best of his capabilities. Whenever something doesn't perfectly fit the scenario in his mind, he becomes visibly irritated, clicking his tongue and sometimes even glaring. In the situation where everything isn't a '100%' Alden would try to strive for the 'perfect picture' in his mind.

Whilst interacting with others, he can be blunt and painfully honest. Over the years he has become more intuitive because of his attitude, and so can easily pick out faults, shortcomings or problems and point it out. Occasionally even giving his two cents on how he himself would 'remedy' the situation. Because of this he tends to not have many friends, though he doesn't really care and would even sarcastically remark this. He is cited as 'attractive yet a pain in the ass' by his classmates at school. Though once you become his friends, the blunt honesty tend reduces to a minimum and you see the softer side of Alden.

See that confident smile of his? It's a facade. In truth he has a side to him that he frantically tries to hide is that Alden has the tendency to blame himself, even when it isn't his fault. He is a 'self-serving martyr', so to speak. An inferiority complex of sorts which stems directly from his past. Only the closest people know this side of him, like his sister. He desperately tries to hide under a mask, the mask being actually how he wants to be.

Background:

Alden was born to a normal family, Quentin. His parents loved him and cared for him. Then his sister was born, he was then mostly neglected by his parents to favor his younger sister who was born a few years later after him. While he did not blame his sister for his parents actions, he blamed himself. He began performing everything perfectly, without a fault. His grades were almost always perfect as he began being more studious. Even his attention to his appearance stemmed from this. His primary thoughts were, 'Maybe if I did perfectly, they would notice, maybe...'

Alden never actually realized that his parents thought he was mature enough to do things by himself. and him being a perfect little boy further proved this, with them now focusing fully on his younger sister. However due to this nature, he had become more self-dependent, and slightly arrogant and snobbish, even being sarcastic and blunt to a fault at times, pointing out inadequacy or shortcomings when he sees it because of developed habit of being 'perfect'.

As soon as Levi groggily entered the hq, he slunk to a dark corner and rested against the wall to catch himself. Seems like the injury from the second floor collapse took a bit more toll than what Levi thought it would. The conversation happening around him were as if they were silent whispers, barely audible to Levi though he did get a general gist. For some reason, Walker's team was worse for wear than them who went for Scarlet.

With one eye slightly ajar he silently watched the other conversing under the guise of darkness. Levi himself could feel the subtle and short glances of worry or wonder thrown at him, but he took no heed of it, instead focusing on recuperating. Now focusing on the conversation between Ditch and Reaper, with Ditch expressing concern- or rather distrust at Reaper taking the initiative to get Scarlet a doctor, Levi honestly didn't care nor mind. Not many doctors are actually willing to operate on superpowered individuals.

Levi dosed off and on during the conversation, he was also very tired apparently. Walking up when Reaper said;

“The offer stands to you three especially. I was not there to help defend you from any injuries. If you need medical attention my Doctor will provide it.”

"N- Not necessary." Levi replied, both eyes now open in an attempt to not make anyone worry about him, unintentionally stuttering. "... Tend to the others, they seem more worse for wear than me."
