@hatakekuro He's done jobs with her and is a bit close to her. Out of everyone in the guild, she's the only one he trusts. If anything, he would help Team Powder Keg to keep an eye on her.

Joshua watched and listened to Amaya before letting out a frustrated sigh. The girl still had too little concern for herself, putting others before her. Stepping forward, he summoned his sword and stood by her side.
"Get this through your glacier thick skull. If you're going, I'm going too. You and I are a team and I got your back through thick and thin. If you end up dying to these two and I did nothing, I wouldn't be able to live with myself. So, if you're going so am I. Besides, higher chances of both of us getting out of this alive then." He said.
"Alright. If you two would follow me, I'll lead the way. And Rose, try not to kill your family." Lucus said before getting up and paying the bill. He lead the way out and to his guild's hotel, entering to the sounds of Elyse laughing and chasing around a diamond cat, stopping only at the sight of her parents.
"Mommy, Daddy!" She shouted, running over to Rose, who she obviously favored for obvious reasons.
@Joshua TamashiiOkay, How does Joshua know that Nidhigg has any sort if relation to dragons besides his name? He doesn't have any obvious traits and given that Joshua hasn't fought him before, it just seems odd for him to say what he said.
Joshua was just making a joke concerning his name, nothing more. Guy named after a dragon us scared of dragon slayers. Pure taunting material.

The moment two mages showed up, Joshua moved in front of Amaya, staying in front of her protectively. It didn't take long for the two to make their intentions clear, which seemed to be killing Amaya. Joshua narrowed his eyes, especially at the one called Nidhogg. At the man's insistence that they don't put up a fight and just go with them elsewhere. Joshua let out a harsh laugh at that.
"Well, I can understand why you're scared of her Nidhogg." He said, addressing the mage. "Wittle dwagon is scared of the big bad slayer. And besides, with a name like yours, you'll probably just slaughter everyone anyway. On top of that, you trying to take the fight elsewhere suggest you're trying to keep a low profile. Killing a lot of innocent people? I wouldn't call that low profile. And I doubt we'll have much of a choice in the end anyway, given how you got here."
Despite the bluster and his confident face, Joshua knew they were in trouble. That magical power was strong and he didn't know if he and Amaya would stand a chance, even together. On top of that, the man's expression was maniacal, meaning he would be totally unpredictable. However, if the man caused a scene, other mages might converge on their point and they could help out. Joshua's job would be to contain the damage until then.
"That's right. Now, what do you think would happen if I combined two or more elements together?" Amelia asked Sam while taking the sprite back and putting it into the crystal it had come out from.
"[color=gray]That's a misconception. Rider's has nothing against Phoenix Wing, and we have made attempts to make peace with them. Our guild master became quick friends with Master Jack of Dragon Fang, who is an ally of Master Jamie. We want to be at peace with Phoenix Wing, but Jamie is putting up some resistance, which I don't blame her for. As for me, Rose, and Elyse. I just found out I had a daughter myself, but I will make sure to be there for her as much as possible. Right now, she's at my guild's hotel, if you would like to meet her.[/color" Lucus said
"And what will you do with me? I don't belong in this world." Aria said, her tone nervous. She knew Jack was a fair man, but she had attacked his guild and some of his friends. People hated others who attacked those close to them, at least from what she had seen of other people. So she had no doubt that Jack probably hated her.

Lucus sat calmly in the quiet between Rose and her father and step-brother. He had expected more talking but the complete lack of it was rather unsettling not to mention very tense. So he decided to break the silence with a topic he was hoping the two groups might find common ground on.
"So... are either of you two curious about little Elyse?" He asked.
Joshua raised an eyebrow.
"I know their minor, but you still risk infections. Plus, I doubt you want people looking at you because you have ice all over your arms and legs." He said before gently rubbing her head. "If you think you'd prefer to risk it though, I will not stop you. Just consider your options first."
"Kind of. This is a sprite. Alone, it isn't much. But, when several sprites of the same element gather, they become spirits, like the ones big sister summons to help her out." Amelia said as the sprite pulsed and moved around but never far from Sam's hands. "This is a fire sprite. Do you know the other five basic elements of the world?"
