Having some trouble picking a character. Druid or bard?

We have a need for both.

From the bard, we could use the charismatic leader who can get into places through his personality and get intel from other NPCs more easily.

From the Druid, we could use the heals and we also the benefit of you bringing along another party member through your animal companion.

Both are excellent support casters and would make excellent additions to our part thus far (Paladin, Wizard/Necromancer, and a Rogue)
I just came here to share my expeirences and I honestly feel so attacked right now

Let me clarify. I'm not very good at this game so I tend to use an archetype by itself and in that sense it's weaker than a lot of things that I've seen ^.^

I do the same thing mate, put I prefer it that way.

Actually, it seems like Tierra merged with the two Apoqliphort monsters and ascended to godhood that way.

That is awesome.

Not very powerful? Eh... Um...

Wait so... Infernoid Tierra... was like the sealed version of the Goddess of Rebirth, Tierra?
@LordofthePies your skills should look more like this. And yes, please put all of them so we know your mods even for the skills you didn't put points in:

Infernoids are pretty xenophobic. I'd be more surprised if you said you got a non-pure build to work more consistently than a pure build.

Fair enough.

Also, I do need to thank Konami for giving Aromas and synchro monster, since I planned on making a few. I plan on Amelia using them at a later date, if we get that far.
@Tengri @Ollumhammersong If you two need help, let me know. I'll do what I can. But I will be leaving for work soon and my knowledge is limited when I don't have my books around, but I will still try my best.

If you still plan on joining. If so, let Joos know so he can roll ya some stats.
More people are certainly welcome, @Tengri and @Ollumhammersong. I too am a newbie to DnD3.5, so that shouldn't stop you from joining, @Tengri.

I plan to start this in a day or two. I am still pouring over the DM manual to get used to the rules. And I am building a monster collection for this world. I will also share a map with you guys so you know where everything is. So I would say we still have some time.

@Joshua Tamashii - Considering how proficient you are in the rules, I suggest you continue to take the responsibility of vetting everyone's numbers in the CS. I will take care of the political/personality aspect of the character for now. I would really appreciate it if you can continue to scan the other CS. People, please take @Joshua Tamashii's suggestions as you would a DM's when it comes to building your characters.

@LordofthePies - I will wait for you to fill skills, feats and your correct numbers before approving your character.

Joshua and @knighthawk - both your characters are approved. I will update the Characters tab myself.

I'll be happy to help where I can.

None of those float, though. Having big dumb monsters is fine, but being able to constantly summon them off their own effects while getting +1's off of their second effects (popping, summoning more stuff) and having a good chunk of 3rd party support behind them is not.

I like Infernoids. So powerful, but so tricky.

Then again, I build pure, so I might be burdening myself by doing so.
<Snipped quote by Joshua Tamashii>

THE ENTIRE ARCHETYPE IS BIG DUMB MONSTERS THAT FLOAT INTO OTHER BIG DUMB MONSTERS

WHO THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA?

No one has ever accused Konami of being smart. Hence why they need to ban everything and purge the game of the good decks every... what month is it?
<Snipped quote by Joshua Tamashii>

Nah, I just don't like em.

Cause they're too powerful or simply because you dislike star wars?
