But, in all seriousness, I do see the flaws in this now. Just removing it makes it feel a bit to much retconny, so why not have it like, a realistic delusion that she is eating people - one that she believes is happening, even when others around her can see that there is nothing there - instead of actually doing the do. That could give the whole, recovery thing without the disgust and murder of the actual deed.

What I was trying to go for is that people help her when the find out. Currently, it's a secret that nobody knows about, and hasn't been brought up. So, to her twisted little mind, there is nothing wrong with it. It's meant to be a whole, character development thing that sounded cool at the time, but became one of them sub-plots that are never tied up by the end of the season....

I'm probably going to leave the rest of the mission. Nothing to do really, and if there was, it'd just be fluffy crap that pointlessly takes up space.

@KabenSaal Which enemy? What if no enemy is attempting to intercept communications in that area?

What if it is sent with an armed party, or official diplomat and his entourage, instead of a single mounted messenger boy or a pigeon?

I feel like random number generator isn't the right way to handle that.

Out of curiosity how will we handle sending messages? Since im assuming communications can be intercepted

Could try something like, send the message to a GM who then does a Random number roll and if it is below a certain number, your enemy gets it instead of it's target.
