@jaybreezy there is no metal. The knives are literally made of shadows. Your electricity would simply go through it. Might destroy it if strong enough.

Roxy sighed. She couldn't believe this was happening. After weeks, months, or years (she had no idea how long they had been in the lab) of being experimented on until they were stable enough to move one would think that they would atleast pretend to cooperate. She knew they were criminals and rebels. But surely by now they knew there were two ways out of this hell hole. Frustrated and their refusal to do even a simple mission she created shadow knives. She threw each with deadly accuracy. The shadow knives weren't as sharp as real knives but they could do some damage if they hit their marks.
