Elizabeth had been arrested almost a year ago for a ctime she hadn't committed. The person who framed her had done such a good job that no one had even questioned that she was the responsible party. Because she wasn't the type to stand up for herself she had ended up a slave in order to pay off her debt to society. She hadn'the fought or defended herself. She had known she couldn't win against the person who framef her so she had given up.

Every morning she sat in the corner of her cage with her arms wrapped around the legs dreeding the day she was sold. So far she had been overlooked. Which she thought was a good thing. She had heard stories of what happened to young slaves. She didn't dare hope for a good master. She wasn't that lucky. At best she would spend her rest of her life in the cage. She was used to being invisible. The way she saw it things could be worse so why stir the pot?

In the brief description you are right. It doesn't but in our PM we discussed details. Including the fact that they would be able to experience each other's emotions between the time the marks appeared at sixteen and when they could start looking for each other at eighteen. She should experience at least some of the things he experience.

OH... Ok. I was thinking hers appeared on her birthday and Griffin appeared on his birthday. Once both had them they would start experiencing each other's emotions. But this works. Only why didn't she feel anything else?

Katherin smiled at the boy. She could tell he was struggling. She didn't know if her disability made him nervous, it seemed to make a lot of people nervous although she could never figure out why. Or if it wa's something else. She hoped that she wasn't the source of his nervousness. "I would appreciate that. It is hard to memorize a place this big." She told him as she stopped next to him. "Can you tell me where the stairs start and where the end?" She ask. People didn't give much thought to stairs. She need all the details she could get.
