As for the odds of six strangers being in the same place at the same time and doing the same thing... it's an arcade. Almost everyone in there would be a stranger, and there'd be a lot more than six people. The reason each character decides to sit at that machine is dependent on the character.
I think I am out. There is little six random strangers are going to play the same game at the same time. No matter how busy the arcade is or how interesting the game. None of my characters would fit this.
Fun fact, this is actually old tech from 1992.
Well than it's old tech I have never seen. Not that I am the most experienced arcade player but I have never seen more than two people at a machine.
Alright, so I was originally planning to create Tiana from The Princess and the Frog. What I didn't realize, however, is that she is already in the TV series in season seven, which I have yet to watch. Would I have to make the same character and have the same story line as it is in the show, or can I make her my own?
You can have a character that is on the show. You can choose to use the same story or you can make that character all your own. If you make her your own make sure to think about how she might interweave with the other characters.
Would Lion King characters be plausible?
Sure they just have to have human form.

@AllHollowsEveThat makes no sense. Even if by some chance no one pays any attention to this unusually machine that several people can use at once (which is highly unlikely) the odds of six random strangers going into the arcade at the same time on the same day and choosing to play this game are nearly impossible.
@King Cosmos Arcades don't generally have that kind of technology. I have never seen a place where six people could play at once.

Ok that is a major problem. You have one machine and atleast six characters. That means that they can not interact. Unless once hooked to the machine they are transported inside the machine. And if you did that you would need a reason for those disappearances not to be reported before everyone gets into the game.

@AllHollowsEve Sounds complicated but interesting. I wouldn't be comfortable allowing someone else to pick my character. I would have to think of a reason for my character to go to the arcade since none of mine are usually into that kind of thing. I am also curious if these characters are from different cities or the same city. Are they aware of each other or how do they met?
