"It's a mechanic's shop. I repair bikes and cars. I prefer motorcycles." Roxy answered as she unlocked the door. The apartment was right above the shop. It made things easier. It wasn't a big place. It had a living/kitchen, two rooms and a bathroom. It was a simple place. She had a couch and a TV. There was the area where she worked out a practice throwing her knives. "There isn't much in the kitchen. I can't cook but we can go shopping tomorrow if you're up to it."

She opened the door. She hoped that Devika would be comfortable here. Things would change. Roxy knew that. She didn't know how but change was inevitable. The empath was different from her. They would need to adjust to one another. It wouldn't be easy but they had to find a way to live together so that they could build a live they do both be happy with.

@LightningMaiden I get being busy. But it is hard to see someone online and have them not say anything. You could have told us days ago you were busy. We just need to know you haven't vanished. It happens all the time.

"What's going on is that we were told we would have more freedom on this floor and that we had today to explore and settle in before they try to train us" Roxy explained as she took a step into the hall. She still saw no soldiers. No lasers came out of the walls. Maybe they would actually be allowed to roam. "I want to get a feel for what's allowed and what's not. I also plan to memorize the layout of everything." She told them. She would escape someday. Not right away. They would be expecting that. No she was going to wait until she felt like she had control and could handle the changes in her. When their guard was down she would take control of her life again.

"We should get upstairs" Griffin suggested. He felt awkward making the suggestion. He wasn't a leader. He had proven that but they couldn't wait here waiting for someone else to take the lead. The last think he needed was for the director to get pissed at him. He made his way passed the others towards the elevator. He was tempted to take the stairs but with the others behind him he couldn't doing so would look weak. He couldn't look weak.
