So the more I thought about it, the more I realised how not ok Rider would be with the way Archer is behaving right now. Surprisingly he's more upset at how bad of a guest Medb is being compared to the fact that he is halfway through destroying a church.
“To act in such a manner; his behaviour is disgraceful for one summoned from the Throne.” Standing at the rear of the group, Rider looked on disapprovingly at the spectacle of Archer arguing with the preacher. Beside him his Master also looked uneasy, the shorter gentleman shuffling in place from one foot to the other; though in his case his discomfort wasn’t just due to the theological aspect of the disagreement.

Dieter still felt out of place in this group, unprepared for what was to come, something that was only made worse when he turned to speak to his Servant, having the crane his neck just to see his face. “I wouldn’t have expected you to care Rider. This isn’t a temple to the Olympians.”

Frowning, Rider followed Archer with his eyes as the exasperated Servant stormed out of the room. Eyes narrowing in thought, he turned to look down at his Master before responding to his statement. “I have seen first-hand what the gods are capable of when they are angered; when a mortal attempts to fight against them, or if they do not pay the gods the proper respect, or if they arrogantly place themselves above the gods. The gods can bring us low and make fools of us whenever they choose. They are far stronger than any mortal, not matter how great; even if this building represents a faith I do not believe in, to tempt destruction in this way before a war is foolish.”

Rider paused as another person approached their group, both he and Dieter turning to listen as the man introduced himself as Archer’s Master. The other Master’s seemed to accept this easily enough, but Dieter was surprised; he had thought the masked man he had briefly met in the Clocktower had been the Master of the Archer-class, and while this man certainly dressed the same he was clearly not the same person he had met.

Letting out a sigh Dieter made a note to question someone about this later. This must have been something that was discussed prior to his arrival, his tardiness meaning he had missed something important.

“But that is not what troubles me.” When Aksha had finished Rider continued from where he left off, still frowning though in Archer’s absence his target had moved to the Magus who called himself his Master. “To behave in such a way as a guest, to destroy your host’s possessions and to even steal their object of worship; I have never witnessed of such an egregious breaking of hospitality. It may even exceed Paris stealing the wife of Menelaus in its evil. The gods do not take the breaking of xenia lightly. Paris brought about the fall of Troy with his transgression; let’s hope this man does not invite disaster upon us in the same way.”
@TheForgottenArc yeah, I think Double's new character is stuck there.

@Double I never finished it but Xenoverse had the recoloured Saibamen as well, but those were artificially empowered unbeknownst to everyone. Nappa says something about the soil on Earth being better than he thought if they were that strong.
I think the power increase from training should be judged based on what kind of training people do. I know that's more work for the GM and honestly, will probably cause some arguments, but it makes sense that someone who goes to train with Mr Popo in the time chamber would see more dividends than, say, Sam continuing to train with Kojiro.

Basically I want to see our efforts actually reflected in what kind of power increase we get.

As far as Saibamen go, it's a limited time solution. If Raditz used them here and then Nappa used them later, they would either be too strong now or too weak later on, since it makes sense that they would be the same strength both times; if I remember correctly their strength is based off of soil quality of something like that? At this point it doesn't seem like Raditz really needs the help, but he could still throw out some seeds in his next post with the justification of being annoyed having to fight so many people at once.

Then when Vegeta and Nappa show up rather than reuse Saibamen, maybe just have them bring a few jobbers from Frieza's army with them?
There needs to be more communication and if someone comes up with a plan then people need to actually stick with it. Things were going ok until Sam tried to use his Mistform technique and then instead of sticking with the plan everyone did their own thing.

Honestly, having the first fight be everyone on Raditz was always going to be messy. I was hoping having Daiko and maybe Josh on his side would make things more manageable but that didn't pan out.
@Double ok, we'll add Saibamen to the next major fight.

Now who wants to volunteer to fight the jobbers while the rest of us fight the cool villains?
@Lumiere I'd like to put my interest in for this if you can fit another person in.

Just to be clear, this is a multi-verse in which all of our characters have fought against Kazzok in some form and lost right?

At the moment I have two ideas I could use; a world without a character and a character without a world. I'll just have to pick which one I like best.
I'll get a post up by the end of the weekend at least.
Dammit, dammit, dammit. Why didn’t he notice sooner? Why, HOW, was he so caught up in his thoughts, so busy thinking about that woman and the weirdo with no energy signature, that he had missed the battle going on around Master Kojiro’s dojo? The power level behind that blast was off the charts and he hadn’t even noticed until it damn near blew up the city.

If his Master found out about this he’d have his hide. He’d kick him out of his school. He’d stamp the word ‘failure’ on his forehead and ship him off back home. Worst of all, he’d wait until after he’d finished lecturing Alex to do it.

Arriving at the dojo it was easy to see which way the battle was going. There were a lot more people here than he had expected to see only two of which he recognised, the master of this dojo and his student, and almost all of them seemed beat up to some degree and only a few of them were even on their feet. And at the centre of it all was the Saiyan.

Even if he wasn’t pumping out more power than anyone Alex had even seen it would be easy enough to recognise him. From the stupid looking armour to the monkey tail to the futuristic looking monocle he wore he was clearly from the same place as the woman he had seen earlier; they even shared the same penchant for overly voluminous hairstyles. Standing opposite him, Alex was vexed to see, was the freak that had ruined his meeting with the woman earlier; somehow, even though he had gone the opposite way, he’d still managed to get here ahead of Alex and was for some reason squaring off with this threat. His attempts to get on their good side had apparently failed, but Alex wasn’t so ready to believe that he’d decided to join their side just like that.

Whatever the situation, it seemed the Saiyan was distracted for now. Using this opportunity Alex circled around behind Raditz, moving slowly and supressing his energy level so as not to attract notice until he was directly behind the Saiyan warrior. Taking a ready stance, Alex prepared himself to strike; he gathered his energy carefully, still keeping it supressed for the moment, before letting it all explode out at once as he dashed forward.

“HA!”

He closed the distance to his target quickly and lashed out with a palm strike aimed at the centre of the Saiyan’s back, just below his shoulder blades and directly over his spine.

“Piercing Ki Strike!”

A moment before the blow would land Alex unleashed a focused beam of Ki from the centre of his palm, a short range but powerful attack that would lance through both armour and flesh if it hit. Not only that, but it was much, much stronger than normal due to the fact that Alex had spent time gathering his energy before this strike, utilising the technique he called ‘Overdrive’ to increase his power at the cost of severely straining his body.

@Weird Tales
Ok never mind. Mugen's actions scupper my plans; I'll do something else.
