The streets were a little quiet. People walking the sidewalks as the sun was going down. It was here on 66th Ave where a few were coming into the Deuces Wild Diner for some of the best burgers and fries and pie on this side of town. A typical hang out spot. not just any hangout spot but, THE spot. Usually people were hush hush about what goes on behind the scenes of this place and others who just didn't keep tabs on the streets, even knew there were certain ones in that Diner who not to cross. scanning through, there were a couple people at the counter, 2-3 booths were occupied but there was a table in the middle of the place, a man sitting there munching on his grilled cheese platter and drinking his beer, facing towards the window to watch any and everyone who comes through. With a serious look showing a hint of anticipation, the man stayed quiet while any and all who were around him paid him no mind. It was as if he was invisible, sitting back in his chair without a care in the world while in his mind, there was an upcoming war to which he didn't know the time or place it would occur. But in his gut....he knew it was coming.....
Kill or be killed....I was told that by a great man I knew back in the day. Growing up on the streets, one thing was for certain.... every choice you made....every action you take...meant another day of surviving between life or death. Well...at least that's what me and my family had to deal with on a daily basis. The Name's Donnie...no last name.....just Donnie, Don...or...Wolf. I run the Block 66 Gang. a group of fucks who backs down from no one, who are not afraid to put our money where our mouth is. Who would scour the earth for the fucker or fuckers who double crossed, harm, disrespect or straight kill someone in our family. But...also a group that shows more love deeper than any blood connected family. Everyone in my family is important and if I had to die to save them all...you fuckin right, I'll sacrifice myself in a heartbeat. Our typical day would simply be making money and building rep but it's not always that simple when you have rivals who tries to muscle in on your turf or when cops...more than likely, crooked ones, try to make a shitty business deal that leaves us with lopsided agreement meaning we take more risk of having them keep quiet and lose our money or they bring us down and we lose everything.
It's not enough that we have to deal with our rival gangs around us, mostly the one from the north along with the cops but we risk getting the wrong attention from bigger syndicates who would try to make us give tribute to. Knowing my family...we'd fight a country if we'd have to....
With the rattling thumping base from the music blast out of a large SUV, people looked over as a large scary man pulled up to the Deuces Wild Diner, getting out and walking into the place, pulling up a chair to sit where Donnie was sitting. "Hey man....everythang good from what I saw. the hustlin...is good and there's also word on the street, Wade and his crew's chop shop have been loaded lately...don't know if it's real or not but...think we should look into it?
Donnie thought for a moment "I don't know yet Zeke...but I'd rather us calm down for now....I hear Wade may have made an alliance with the cartel....but I don't know how true that is either. If we find out more then that will determine if we're going to fuck them over or not." Donnie said as Zeke gave an order on something to eat. Donnie also spoke up again "Oh yeah....be sure to tell the group to be careful about starting shit with members of the WMP (West Memorial Posse) until we know who's backing them."
