Kyle - 10:00 AM - Rosaline Hall Entryway

Kyle stood in the entryway. He was frowning; not an unusual look, but in this case he was frowning at the weather. Winter had a firm grip on the country, which made for any sort of out of doors training nearly impossible. Training indoors was... frowned upon. Ronan's voice cut into Kyle's thoughts, but did not shatter his frown.

He let the drape fall back in front of the small entryway window and walked away. He didn't need to get anything, he was always prepared for the worst. Kyle entered the 'meeting room'. Curious as to what information Ronan had discovered, hoping it'd be a mission something to get him out of the house that was much too soaked with magic. Kyle shrugged of those memories with ease of practice as he took his accustomed seat, a spot open for Siobhan to his right.

Kyle didn't bother asking any questions just yet. Ronan wouldn't answer them until the rest showed up anyway.

You may want to check your math against the timeline. I think your character would have grown up with Voldy's rising to power. I'm not 100% because math is not my strong suit (and I'm not even doing it, I'm just guessing from the age of your character).

Perhaps get to know one another. We all know the nightmare that is getting convincing relationships in RPs, but, even if it hasn't been established directly IC, these are people that have been shipped across the world together to a house of German-speaking Germans, including moments entirely alone in waiting rooms and limousines: if you want to assume that at least some of your characters have bonded with or taken offence from others, even if it hasn't been explicitly noted in the IC, please do. See above about talking to each other as players.

Take your time over it. It doesn't have to be a novel in length and you don't have to do it if you don't want, but there's lots of things to think about with all of the above, including talking to each other as players, so don't just rush into it in order to get on with the next section. If any of you are struggling for time as the others' posts are coming in, as usual, just let me know and I can take the spotlight off you for a bit. Never have posts been so suited for placeholders as these. ;)

In a school hidden from prying eyes somewhere in the Colorado Rockies exceptional students are taught. Each student is special in some way. Be they intelligent, strong, or something unexpected. These students are hand picked by the Headmistress and her closest staff. A simple letter is delivered to the student inviting them to the prestigious school. For those that can't afford the school, options are available.

This school year (1974) is different though. Last year ended on the depressing note of the disappearance of one of the students, her body was found just before the end of the year. The terror of it sits heavy on the new school year.

Basically this takes place in 1974 in a private school. Your character has a power of some sort, though you and your class mates don't know that everyone in this school is exceptional in some way.
