Neil Maxwell

Neil took in the director's orders. First he was going to New Mexico, he had never been there before. Second he was doing an honest to god mission to find this technopath. At least he was going with Mercede, that guy was a legend. Technopath missions were never safe, ever. Well except his own. Sector X had found him first thank god, Neil repressed a shiver at the thought of having been found by Shadow. He knew a few in the room had crossed paths with the organization before, he hadn't though and now he might have to.

Once the Director finished giving everyone their orders Neil stepped over to Mercede. He had seen the guy around, hell he worked in one of the offices on his floor, but he had never had the nerve to talk to him. "Hey, where do you want to read that?"

Niah Bautista

Niah joined Autumn, noticing the dampener on her ear and her stance. Autumn seemed closed off, guarded, especially toward Hearne. Their exchange earlier indicated they knew each other, and it was clearly not an everybody gets a long type of knowing each other.

Niah glanced at Brandon Hearne, a tattooed name peaked out from his sleeve, yellowed finger tips from cigarettes though the smell of them was faint as if he didn't do it often anymore. He did not seem to carry the same anger toward Page, he seemed almost amused. Niah couldn't be reading that right.

Page asked if they wanted to take the folder somewhere to read it, Niah just nodded in response. This group was why the director had been insistent that her mind was made up, that there'd be no arguing.

Niah Bautista

Niah wasn't listening when the announcement was made. She was too busy looking, which meant it was up to one of her co-workers to get her attention. Since she wasn't listening that meant they'd have to touch her. The co-worker who decided they were brave enough to disturb the skittish Niah came as close to Niah as they dared, just arms reach, then reached out and gently touched Niah's elbow. Niah almost dropped the item she was looking at, but she blinked dropping her hyper focus.

"The Director called you to her office." Niah nodded, her hands were shaking, her lips pursed, and her dark skin looked pale. "Sorry." Niah nodded, as if that was enough to absolve the other scientist of touching her. Niah left the lab without removing her lab coat and joined the others in the Director's office.

"Director." Niah bowed slightly at the waist.

Neil cracked his knuckles and continued to type. The current code he was working on was almost finished. "...Mr. Neil Maxwell..."

Damn. He turned on a security protocol, one that would make it nigh impossible to use his computer in his absence. He let the compiling continue and took the next elevator down to the Director's office.

"Director." He nodded, and then took quick stock of who was in the room. He recognized most of the faces, but he never went on missions. This had to be something else, but that was Cassie Anderson (the intimidating ex-military recruiter).

Ah okay I thought Natasha's power covered all senses at once all the time. That makes more sense, and I'm cool with it working that way for the two of them.

@Twhirtley I do want to discus with you on how you want to approach the crossing of Niah's powers with Nat's power. I'm thinking that Niah would be more likely to notice things like a depression where someone is standing and wouldn't all out be able to sense Nat. That is of course Niah would have to be actively looking for signs of Nat's presence to notice them.
