"I'm not any good with uh living people. I might be able to sew up a wound or at least hold pressure on it." Niah offered. "Maybe we should get back out to the transport." She added, then looking over Maria and seeing her wounds she frowned. "And you too I guess."

"Agent Renroir, try to keep pressure on your stomach." Niah didn't think she could carry Agent Renroir by herself, but Maria didn't look in any state to help. She hoped someone would come to help them. "I'm going to check the next room to make sure this room is secure. You two should stay here until we can get you to the transport."

Niah stepped over to the other door in the room and carefully checked to make sure the next room was clear. It was, she let out a small sigh of relief. And then returned to Maria and Tempests' side.

After dinner

Kade found Astrid and pulled her aside to talk to her. Then led orintation with the new students. He explained the compass system as well as the rules for living at the school. He also gave some fair warnings emphasising not everyone finds their door home even if they think they will.

After orientation

As Astrid is leaving the orientation room and she hears Kade head to Elenor's office.

Alex is down the hall and sees Kade enter Elenor's office.

Heather nodded and started leading the way. She nervously looked at the knife in her hand. The man had given it to her, but Robin seemed oddly nervous about her holding it. She had to admit that she didn't particularly want to be holding it either so she thanked him and handed it over.

When the came to the first split in the path she took the left path, remembering Jenna had said that she had never been straight why start now. Heather could relate. With what Kosara said Heather's heart skipped a beat. She was not ready to die. She shared a look with Robin, then nodded at Kosara. "Please just don't leave me there."

At the next split in the path, Heather paused. "I don't know where they went from here." She shined her flashlight trying to see if she could find footprints or some sign of which way they went. Then she noticed what looked like a fresh disturbance in the soil. It wasn't much, but she was fairly certain the girls had gone that way. "Wait, I think they went this way." She shined the flashlight into the small crevice that she almost hadn't noticed. She frowned, uncertain if they would even fit.

Niah stayed at the back of the group with her ICER ready. She had dropped her sight in exchange for hearing. Maria led the group into a second room after she was certain the first room was clear. Niah kept behind the wall to protect herself. She was thankful she had done that as several shots were fired at them. Even with the crazy stealth that Raynor could do.

She took a deep breath and peeked around the corner, aiming at the first guy she could. She pulled the trigger and knew she hit him squarely. He went down and she was back behind the wall again. Not a shot aimed at her. She let out the held breath.

Niah doubled checked her equipment as she climbed into the transport vehicle. She wasn't certain what they would encounter, but she had the headset, ICER, and special knock out juice. She gave Sami a nervous smile as he piled into the transport as well. She needed to chat with him, but there wasn't a good time. It was frustrating.

Niah moved a bit so she could get a clear view of the beam of light, curious if she could see anything inside the beam. She had figured out that if she focused on shutting off the sense that she would lose it was easier to get the one she wanted. So she let her hearing go. It was a long distance, but when her eyes focused on it she was certain there was a woman trapped in it.

"There is someone in that beam of light." She couldn't hear herself talk, which was a little odd despite feeling the vibrations in her chest. She tilted her head there was something familiar about the woman but she had no idea who it could be or was especially from this distance.

Heather took the knife nodding. She didn't understand why the man couldn't enter the mines, but to each their own she guessed. Maybe it was some religious thing. She understood that.

Abe pulled up and she felt a weight lift off her shoulders. She resisted crying. "Abe!" She shouted. "Jenna and Lydia are in there, looking for Riley and I don't really understand what is going on, but we saw the ghost of the mayor." She did not want to tempt fate anymore by asking if the day could get weirder.

"Oh, and this is Robert's dad. I'm sorry I don't know your name sir." She introduced Abe and Kosara to Robert's father. "We should go back in. I know which path they started down." She did not sound excited about going back in, but they had been out here so much longer than she had anticipated and she had no idea what the two girls were doing now. She was worried about them, even if she only barely knew them. If there were more paths she hoped they didn't end up lost.

She was thankful the man had arrived, she could see the familial resemblance between him and Robert. It distracted from the plants that had grown under her touch, and her confession to Robin about her mother. At least Robin hadn't seemed to pick up on the plants.

"Lydia and Jenna are in there. They are looking for Riley. She was taken by someone called, uh Sigfried." She turned to Robin. "Do you still have the photo?"

"Jenna thinks Sigfried took Riley into the mines because..." Heather trailed off, she wasn't certain why Jenna thought that. Also wouldn't Sigfried be dead logically? Things were too weird.

Niah was definitely late to join the team. She shoved a couple last items into her bag and bolted down to the hold. She picked up an ICER and a radio, hooking the piece into her ear. She looked about guilty for being late. At least she wasn't the last. She sighed mentally.

As the Bus came around she saw the brilliant light coming up from the ground. "Oh boy." She held back the cuss that she almost said instead. "What is that?" She asked mostly rhetorically. While she hadn't been in New York during the attack a few years back, she had seen pictures of the scene, and Agent Raynor wasn't incorrect about its appearance, but that incident had come down from the sky, not up from the ground. Interesting.

"Yeah it was freaking me out a bit too. I don't feel good about two teen kids go in their alone though." She said honest with herself. She reached over and touched a plant, thankful for its reassurance, she just hopped it didn't start blooming in front of Robin.

"I don't think I totally get what is going on. I mean we just saw a ghost." She started to pace nervously. What had they gotten themselves into? She hoped the kid would show up soon. Or someone would. She needed an adult. What if- She cut off the thought. "My mom died."

"Well talk after Latveria then okay." She gave him a quick hug, as she did she whispered. "I have to trust you. I'll go crazy if I don't." Once she released the hug she went to her room to get her gear ready.

She carefully went over a forensic kit. She didn't know exactly what she might need, but she made sure she had the basics and a few random other items. She wished she had a better grasp on her powers and had had more time to practice with a gun.

Niah pulled up a picture of her, Z, and Antoine from her phone. She was sitting between them and arm around each. She didn't remember who took the picture, but it was the only picture she had with all of them. Would SHIELD consider it treason to have a picture of a known traitor? She then looked at the picture of her with her siblings. It mirrored the one on her phone eerily, but at least her brother was still alive. Her hand went up to her necklace.
