Niah put her hand gently on Oliver's shoulder. She understood. Niah nodded when he asked if she'd join him in the room. She had stepped into the room when a voice spoke to Oliver. It sounded like him. And he moved so fast. Her heart felt like it was in her throat and it was pounding in her ears. Memories of Luminous killing so many of her friends with that frightening speed made her brain feel numb. Did Oliver have an older brother? Was this a Skrull who could be more creative? Or hell was Hill messing with Oliver with some twisted LMD?

Why this person was here didn't matter. He had killed the person Oliver had come to say his last goodbye to. That goodbye had been taken from Oliver. And Niah knew how much one last goodbye could mean. She had so few people she had gotten to say it to. Her hand rose with the pistol she carried since the fight with Ultron. It carried actual bullets. She only pulled the trigger once, instead of her normal three. And her aim was based purely on instinct.

Niah had a third power, one that had come to her before the House of M, she had only used it a few times. It gave her the ability to know where things were even if she couldn't see them. It was clearly a part of her heightened senses but didn't require activation. So, with just that her pistol was pointed right at chest level of Oliver's copy. Miraculously, from Niah's point of view, the bullet crashed into Evil-Oliver's chest just a bit below his clavicle.

It was clear Matt had done some slowing down to Captain America. They were getting the upper hand, even if they were outnumbered. Asokho had been dealing with the Winter Soldier on his own, which gave him a point in Matt's book as not totally useless. The newest member of the team didn't seem to agree with Hill's laws, but he did seem to be following orders. It was clear they had the upper hand though because the rogue heroes were running away.

Cass, had Hawkeye well in hand so Matt dashed to the window after the rogue heroes jumped from it. He drew his handgun. Not wanting to actually kill Falcon, but needing to slow them down. He pulled the trigger once, missing, twice hitting the wings of Falcon's tech, on the third pull of his trigger it hit the wings again. Neither had done any damage. It wasn't even causing Falcon to slow down. He cursed mentally. Of course, the wings would be bulletproof.

Matt climbed back out the window. He wasn't as graceful, or acrobatic so he could only run after them, but they were still several stories up. He started climbing down. Knowing they were going to loose Rogers and the others now. They wouldn't have another lead he suspected. They had come here to get something or someone and there would be little chance of figuring out their plan again.

Rose nodded at Merlin's plan. It was good enough. Hopefully, there was a wedding and the guards didn't ask who was getting married. She figured she'd let Merlin talk if they got asked where they were going anyway. But it would be good to know who they were supposed to be going to get married. Not often did people go to weddings of people they didn't know. Rose figured she could say she was coming into town to visit some family and not be lying. Her mother was in that town.

She shoved the book into her bag. She didn't want any guardsmen asking about the book. It did cover her strange jacket and belongings, like her phone, that was a bonus. It didn't keep her bag from being searched through. Rose's stomach twisted. Her mother needed her to make it in there. "Seems solid enough of a plan, if there happens to be a wedding coming up, and we can give the names of the bride or groom if asked." Rose said to Merlin. She didn't want to poke all the holes in his plan, but better her than a guard with a sword and a strong desire to kill rebel children from another world.

Colby arched an eyebrow at Sierra. She had seemed just as pissed as the others. He gave a shrug and touched Matthew's hand gently to let him know he really was okay. Colby didn't care what any of the others thought of him, but he knew Matthew was a pile of anxious nerves. "Thanks, but I'm good." He said trying very hard to keep the sarcasm out of his voice that he felt belonged there.

He couldn't help himself though to look at Camelot with wide-eyed wonder. He really was still a kid. Easily one of the younger, if not the youngest of the group. Colby had never been outside Wichita in his whole life, minus what he had lived here before his exile. He didn't remember any of that time though. It was a true medieval city with parapets and guardsmen, all probably lackeys of Maleficent.

"I'm doing okay. Tired though. I feel like a headache is considering starting. I've never done this much healing." He gave Annie a sad smile. He didn't tell her that he hadn't cast healing spells much because his sister had done it for them. With Klara there at least they had someone else who could help. That meant he could focus on controlling the field a bit more.

Ed reached into his pocket and touched the small shield that he kept there. He summoned a couple of shield bubbles missing monkeys as they moved around. He frowned and did a few more in quick succession ending up with his last one catching four of the monkeys. That was a waste he thought, but at least he had a few caught now.

"That's rich coming from you. You're always talking to yourself, and considering I've known you like an hour that's got to be a lot of talking to yourself." Andy said. She dusted her jacket off a bit. She was smiling as she looked at Casper. Andy had only seen him at breakfast. She took in his appearance this time. She hadn't seen any guy so flamboyantly dressed before. This guy was literally wearing a mini-skirt.

"Also I haven't done any drugs. Other than sleeping drugs and caffeine. And I think you mean smurfs?" Andy offered, with a slight hitch at the end to make it seem more like a question than an answer. She had only ever seen the movie, never any of the shows. "Why aren't you helping fight the guys outside? I punched out the earthquake guy, but I won't get near the fire guy." She shrugged a little bit with her comment about Pyro. She hoped Casper didn't want to ask why she didn't want to fight him.

Andy's plate had a muffin, some scrambled eggs (full of cheese), and bacon. Her cup had milk. She was munching on a bite of bacon when Lauryn came in. Andy took a quick sip of her milk. "Good morning Lauryn. I slept okay, minus a weird dream." She hadn't given it much thought honestly. She always had weird dreams, but this one had been particularly odd. "How about you?"

Other people started to drift into the galley, including her brother who seemed to be brooding. He didn't even acknowledge Andy. She frowned. Had she missed something during the day that upset him? Andy had been distracted with the Gryphon and Arthur it was very likely she had failed to notice her brother's activities for the day. But he also was the older sibling and should be able to care for himself.

"What's wrong?" She asked Demetri, worry etched in her features. At least with Arthur, she could guess why he was upset. Enough had happened the day before to explain any of that. Two of his trusted friends had died or left the ship. Andy couldn't decide which one would hurt her more in his place. Mona had been his friend for a while at the school before they had come to camp.

Niah figured there was little she could add to the conversation with the Hunters. She crossed her arms. Niah looked at Prometheus taking in his appearance. It wasn't what she expected, which wasn't saying much since she didn't know much about the Titan anyway. Something about fire and a liver.

Emily saw as glares were directed at Marco. She felt protective of him. Emily couldn't be certain but she had a feeling it was because he was male. There weren't any other men in the Hunters group from what she could tell. Her stomach tightened a bit. They weren't glaring at her...But they didn't know the truth. And would they hate her if they did?

Niah literally put her face in the palm of her hand. She felt like a headache was coming on suddenly. Waverly had pissed off Nancy and now it was only going to get worse. She took a step back almost reflexively to keep out of the line of fire of whatever was about to happen. It also put a nice layer of distance from Waverly who was likely to find out how vindictive gods could be when angered.

Emily's jaw dropped at Waverly's line about a poster of Diana in Nancy's room. First of all, how the heck would she even know that if it were true. Second what gave Waverly the right to say that, even as a joke. She turned to glare at Waverly. "The curse said specifically until you learn to respect her, that is not the way to show anything resembling respect. You've overstepped a lot just now, and that comment was cruel. Nancy isn't laughing, no one is. How would you like it if I told your crush what you felt for them? You have to be blind to not see that Nancy is ace." Emily might not have considered herself friends with Nancy but she respected her. Emily took after her father in a fair amount of ways and one of them was she was very petty. Waverly had one chance to not make things worse for herself. If she didn't apologize now Emily started forming a curse in her mind.

Niah had given Oliver's shoulder a little squeeze before they got into the car. She was trying to be comforting. It was awkward though. Death always was. Even for people who had someone close to them die. She took the card from the driver and thanked him. Inside she let Oliver lead the way. She didn't know this hospital, but she did know hospitals.

It was ridiculously early in the morning so it being empty made sense, but it made her feel more uncomfortable. It reminded her of liminal space. The music reminded her of a youtuber she watched sometimes when she needed something silly. At first, she couldn't figure out what the connection was, but then she realized the music was the same as what the youtuber used as their unboxing music. Now she wanted to watch a video of Jackie giving some review on a crappy craft kit. It would provide some levity.

"Do you want me to go with you? Or wait out here?" She asked as they neared the door to the room where Oliver's mother was dying.

Matt's point had gotten across. It was nice to be working with people who understood each other. Bonnie had taken the offensive and Matt was able to step in and touch Captain America. He had figured with the super-soldier serum Rogers would probably be a bit more immune to his power than most. Because of that, Matt let out about as much of his power as he had the time he had almost killed Cass. Together they had made it possible.

Matt watched as Rogers limbs seemed to stop replying to him, as an arrow dug into his shoulder. He hissed painfully. "The rules are there to help people, to protect them. You can't tell me you think it is a good idea to have kids out there fighting. And people just decide whoever they want is an enemy. There have to be checks and balances."

He needed to pull the arrow out of his shoulder. He reached back with his opposite hand and gently pulled the arrow out of his shoulder. He was now bleeding, but at least he didn't have an arrow sticking out of it. He put his hand over the gash.

Andy didn't notice that someone was trying to intrude into her mind. Not really. It was always bustling and full of thoughts, a lot of them already unpleasant. She had just imagined that her adoptive father, Jamie, had told her she had done a good job, and then the bullets from the shape-shifting lady had been shot at her. Andy's first power had actually been enhanced reflexes though she did not know that, she had not known about the power until Jamie had pointed it out.

She honestly didn't get them. Why were Mutants fighting Mutants? They had enough bull to deal with as Mutants to have to worry about in-fighting. Andy thought of the few mutants she had met in her life. Especially Ash, sweet, kind, wild Ash. She sighed, there was no point throwing anymore punches if the old guy was saying the fight was over.

Andy walked back into the Underground and went looking for her jacket. She wondered if this place would no be considered insecure and they would move the place. It seemed awfully silly to keep a place that had had the enemy in it. Andy started digging around the debris for her jacket. After a moment she found it and dusted it off. Some tension released from her shoulders. She hugged the jacket for a moment. "Sorry mom. I found it though. It is okay." She spoke quietly to the jacket as if it were her mother before putting it on.

"Thank you." Rose said quietly to Cass when she let the situation drop.

Thankfully they were on their way with Merlin's words. Rose understood the delay and the desire to push Colby into the lake, but she needed to get moving to the city. She had no idea what it would take to free her mother. Rose doubted just walking into the city and announcing that the true heir was here and to release Little Red Riding Hood from the jail if you please would work.

"What can we expect in the city?" She asked Merlin. Rose agreed that Merlin had been frustratingly vague, but she had spent the least amount of time around him she thought. Only the brief meeting at the park and then the rescue in the woods. She however liked having a plan. Rose was capable of winging it, but it was better to have a plan in her opinion.

"I don't want you to save me." Colby said toward Layla, but more directed at the group as a whole. Colby was frustrated. Even with Matthew's words, he was ready to throw punches. He had firmly decided he hated the rest of the group of kids taken from Arcadia. All of them were snobs and jerks.

He only pulled away slightly when Tink had touched his shoulder. Colby kept pace with Matthew in the back of the group. Glaring at the backs of the others. He remembered why he preferred the company of cats over people. Cats were easier to understand. Their body language gave away so much once you knew how to read it. And now that they were walking again he tapped his shoulder and Jack jumped nimbly from Matthew's shoulder to Colby's.

Ed sighed, well that was one solution he figured. He rolled his eyes at Guin's comment calling him Harry Potter. He limped over to Lance. Ed raised an eyebrow as he saw that Lance was holding Runa's magic staff with seeming no issues. Interesting. He glanced at Klara, shrugged, and with a bit of blood that was on Lance cast his healing spell again. They weren't be actively attacked and Mira or Iris hadn't rolled yet so for a few moments they had a respite.

The spell seemed to work this time on Lance. Go figure. Who the heck knew what was going on? Of course, until Runa woke up there was no way to tell if his healing spell would work on her mind as it had with Klara. He still didn't quite trust that it had worked completely with Klara but she did seem to be on their side at least.

"Well I targeted her mind with my healing spell. Hopefully, it worked as it did with Klara." He put a gentle hand on Lance. "When she wakes up, you're the one who should speak to her."

Niah let her power drop away and her sense of taste returned and her hearing went back to the normal level. "Thank you for your help. We do appreciate it." Niah smiled genuinely. "I would appreciate the ride." She said. Then looked at Captain Britain. "Rest well, I wish you the best of luck finding your daughter." Niah knew much too well the pain of losing someone and not knowing where they were.

"Oliver, do you know the address of where we are going?" She asked him. Niah realized what time it was and for a moment was stunned. She wasn't sleepy. Maybe it was cause for her she was on San Francisco time. It was only four pm there. They had been moving steadily across the face of the Earth all day. Talk about jet-lagged, she certainly would be in a few hours as the sun rose and she got sleepy.

Matt climbed up the rest of the way. Watching as Falcon was blasted out the window by a gust of wind. There was a part of Matt that feared it was the man from Agent 13's apartment until he remembered that Cass could control the weather too. He swore he had almost died in that fight, somehow fate had decided that he wouldn't though. He shook the thought from his mind and climbed into the apartment.

He darted forward and tried to touch Captain America but the man was too quick for him and blocked the attempt. Matt sighed, of course. That was the biggest flaw in his power. He had to actually touch the person. Thankfully it was a passive power at least. He tried again and Captain America blocked him with his dang shield again. Fine so be it. If Matt couldn't land a hit, he could at least distract Captain America. He glanced at Bonnie and then Cass. Hoping one of them saw his glance and he waited a split second and started to move in again hopefully drawing Captain America's attention.
