Rose hurried along with the group, she drew her bow and notched an arrow, but she like the others didn't want to kill random people just doing their job. Though, she had opinions of people who made their job as prions keepers. It was a choice to do that sort of career and if one of them tried to stop her from saving her mom she'd make sure it'd be the last time they could make the effort.

If she hadn't had her hands full with the bow and arrow as they ran she would have reached out to hold her mother's hand. A simple thing, but one she hadn't done in so long it ached. It would be different now. Her hand wouldn't be as small. She wasn't a child of this world as much anymore. She had grown up in a different world and didn't know this one's rules. She put away her stuff long enough to get back down into the sewers then re-drew her weapon taking a guarding position ready to fire an arrow into a guard if they interfered with the group escaping.

It was relieving to know there was something resembling a fire brigade. Especially in a place that so easily caught fire. He thought of thatched roofs of homes, which made him think of where the phrase raining cats and dogs came from and he repressed a smile at the thought. He stepped back into the bar. Hoping that the rescue team was already on their way back and that the fire had done something to assist.

He ignored Rosalia she was still complaining that the fire had been started and yeah it had been agreed not to do it, it had happened there was no changing that. He wanted to grab her shoulders and shake her and yell get over it. What had been done was done. And this time it wasn't his fault. Okay, it had been his idea, but he hadn't started the fire. He cursed his brain as a song popped up.

Colby sighed and sank into a chair. "How long are we gonna wait? What if someone saw us and reports us and the guards are already on the way?" He asked, not even the worst-case idea that had already played through his head. That one included the fire getting out of control and the whole city burning down around them.

There was no letting down in this fight. The people who were supposed to be getting people to safety had dropped that for fighting instead. He sighed and flinched as fire engulfed him. He couldn't get a shield up in time. It hurt. But he could hear the water, and knew that Klara had gone back to Loki's side. His gut had been right. He hadn't trusted that he had pulled them completely from Loki's control.

His eyes darted around the island, seeing a group of civilians that were still there. He didn't know how big Klara's wave would be, but he would not risk their lives. His hand touched the shield in his pocket and around the people a shield appeared. He would have preferred covering the whole island, but he didn't have the strength for that, especially since he needed to heal himself.

"Physician heal thyself." He joked. His mind splitting between keeping the shield up and taking care of his own wounds. The burns started to recede. A blessed relief.

Andy followed the group as quietly as she could until they got to the door to room 97. For a moment they tried to listen at the doors before a voice was clear in her head. She flinched. She hadn't been around many telepaths so it was an odd sensation. The group then went into the room. The fighting started almost immediately.

She stepped forward and pushed the table that was there, it was metal, which was perfect for conducting electricity. Even trying her hardest she couldn't push the table, it barely moved. She got irritated and just lifted and flipped it. The table landed only on one of the guy's feet. The blonde guy with the pink jumpsuit. She let a blast of electricity flow from her hand through the table and into the dude's toe.

He was freaking out and crying in pain. She blinked. She had definitely not sent enough electricity in that blast to do that much damage if she was honest with herself. But the guy was acting like he had been shot or something.

"Wild." Niah said as the leg morphed into a chair. It really was wild. She was thankful Oliver was there to help her out, and explain everything that she had missed. There was a lot to unpack in that. "So we are meeting the team in Jersey? Then we are going to plan for stopping the Skrulls in Geneva in a week, but make it look just incompetent enough that the Kree aren't threatened by us. Knowing our group we can do that no problem." Maybe self-deprecating humor after fighting her own self-doubt wasn't the best idea.

She looked at Dr. Lawson, sympathy was written all over her features. "Well we can still appreciate the efforts. I hope we keep the Earth safe too. Sometimes saving the world is a lot easier when you're saving it for one person." She said sagely. Remember the efforts she had put into saving the world. It had been focused on getting Bonnie back...or her sister.

Matt hadn't sat down, but he had sea legs from being on ships for so much of his career before. He was going to be very happy with Folly gone. And honestly, he hoped several others would get off here too. Matt offered his hand to Cass to help her steady herself. "You okay?" He asked, almost calling her dear.

Once she was fine he sat down this time and bucked up. "Right, but next time let us actually get a chance to get to our seats." Matt complained, though he had a grin on his face. "Also I have to say. That girl is like the weirdest ball of joy and death."

"Probably a million questions, but yeah they can wait." She smiled. Her mom recognized her. She felt like dancing. Rose was surprised at the hug. "Hugging is great, but I just climbed through the sewers." She laughed, still hugging her back anyway.

"Is that everyone?" She asked pulling out of the hug and then looking around at everyone. "Do we have to go back through the sewer?" She really didn't want to walk for another thirty minutes though that gross again. Her mind was just digging through questions that she had for her mom. God so many questions. At least she knew that her mom had sent her to Earth for her safety and she hadn't been lost and forgotten in a wood, or just abandoned, which had been her worst fears on late nights.

Colby ignored the others, following Merlin back to the bar. "There is a fire brigade or something though right?" He really didn't want to be a fault for half the town going up like an old Christmas tree. Those things could burn. At least he could say he didn't start the fire.

He agreed with Matthew's question. How much damage could a guy who spun straw into gold do? It was possible that meant he had other powers. Maybe he was like a genie or something. He mentally shrugged. Getting the hang of this world was gonna be rough. He wanted to have a chance to ask questions, though it felt like he was judged for not knowing stuff. At least guessing from how annoyed Tink had gotten with them.

Andy smiled at Arthur. "I like Griff." She set about the task of cleaning and caring for the wound on Griff. She smiled while working on it. Griff was cool. She spent the rest of the travel time with Griff and Arthur. Though she dug up some armor that fit her.

Finally, they were at the Roman camp. She stood nervously with the other Greeks at the Romans. She had no idea what to expect out of them, but they definitely seemed more...put together. Like an actual military unit. It was impressive. Her eyes went wide as the older girl introduced herself as Madalyne Crane. That was the name Hecate had told her. She wanted to run up and ask Madalyne right now to help her, but she kept herself with the others.

"Arthur, I have to talk to her. Crane is the name Hecate said to me." She bit her lip looking at Arthur feeling bad about bringing up Hecate.

"It is okay Marco. I'll always be by your side." She said hugging him back tightly. Em was glad they were back at camp and they had a working plan. Nancy and Madalyne were good at their job. They had a good plan.

Em was gross. The sewers were gross. She pinched the bridge of her nose as Waverly tried to start up a song. It wasn't a bad idea...it just wasn't the right time. She wasn't going to try to explain why that was. She had put out enough trying to fix-it energy into the day. It had backfired enough over the day.

Niah was happy with where she had planned the traps, and of what types of traps. She joined Nancy and Mads at the Field of Mars just after sundown. She looked at the ship as it landed, it was impressive and she could understand why so many stories were passed about the Argo. It might be a recreation, but still neat. And it flew. Her stomach twisted about that idea a bit. Even after all this time flying got to her. Never was the heights...just not knowing how it was working.

She smiled at the group of Greeks. At least they were wearing armor and looked like a military group. That was surprising. She had expected them to show up in orange t-shirts looking disheveled. Some of them even had weapons, maybe the others weapons were hidden like hers. She took in the group standing before her. Hopefully, together they could stop the Titans.

Thankfully Ed's hearing wasn't messed up still. He could hear Lance's idea. Ed hadn't been there when the confusion had been set upon the group so he hadn't even realized it was there. That explained a lot. People were physically hurt, but he had to get everyone to the point where they could get past the confusion that Loki had beset upon them.

He focused on the group, the X-Men, the Asgardians, and the Avengers. His stomach twisted a little as he felt each of the minds. It felt wrong to be so close to the minds of others. Why did so many people have to go around messing with other people's minds? His family had the training to keep people out of their minds, many people did not. But they knew it was possible to encounter people with mind intrusion spells.

In the minds of his team, there were several that felt off. He pulled the wool, so to speak, from them and they could see true again.

Thankfully Andy was only slightly chastised. She tried to look appropriately so but had never quite perfected the look, which was probably why she had gotten into so much trouble during her school days when she had bothered to go. She didn't say anything else though. Especially not to Havok. No one else seemed mad at her. Even Sapphire, who seemed particularly...cold... backed her up.

They made their way. Andy staying close behind Veil and the others, not wanting to get left behind or slip out of the invisibility that Veil had around them. She had no idea how that worked, but it was a neat ability. One she would have liked a million times in her life. Instead, she was just quick on her feet and could kill a person if she punched them just wrong...or right depending on your perspective. Both sit in her past.

"Before humans defaced it. I don't care about four old white dudes who had slaves." She shrugged. Looking up the cliff face her stomach did some flips. She had never thought she was afraid of heights but it was certainly seeming that way right now. Each time she had to rely on the armor she was about ready to throw up. Hopefully, she'd get used to that eventually.

She started climbing after a quick test of the ropes connecting them. If they fell she'd hopefully be able to keep them safe. Keep them from falling. That was a lot of figurative weight. She breathed slow and low keeping concentration as she made the climb. Watching where she put her feet and hands. She had never climbed this high before. And she wouldn't have ever called climbing a skill. But being at camp made her more fit than the average teen at least.

"Hey, Lauryn." Andy smiled at the older girl. "Yeah he does. Maybe I should name him." She paused to think but couldn't come up with a name that didn't sound stupid. "Do we have more bandages and stuff. Without Rebecca here I guess I'll take care of him, but I don't really know what to do." She admitted. Lauryn had been nice enough to her and understanding that she didn't feel bad telling her that she didn't know what to do.

It hurt a little to think about Rebecca leaving them. She was supposed to have been teaching her magic. Andy sighed a little reminding herself that was why she shouldn't bother trying to be friends with people and why she had to be self-reliant. She could only be as self-reliant as she knew though. So if someone could teach her something she was determined to learn it.

Emily put her weapons back on since Terminus said they could keep them. That felt weird. Like buying alcohol on a Sunday in Utah. Not that she had ever done that before, which might be why it felt weird. She had never done this before. Never just walked around with her weapons. She held Marco's hand as they walked back.

"We got this. New Rome is a well-oiled war machine ready to protect itself." She said optimistically. With the leaders they had, they couldn't go wrong. As long as people actually listened to them. And if the Greeks made it in time their numbers would at least help. Sure they were an unorganized mess of fighters, but the stories she had heard told her they at least knew which end of the sword to hold.

Em's mind was more focused on what happened to Madalyne. She had to convince her to try the wolfsbane. If anything there had to be someone in the Camp who could brew potions. Gods knew there were enough magic users and such around. Or maybe the Greeks had some cure the Romans didn't know. She wasn't going to let Madalyne fall to this. At least they only had the standard responsibility of any member of the cohort and didn't have to worry about being in charge. That was something she could handle.

Location: New Rome: Senate -> Second Cohort.

Niah paused waiting for most of the Senators to leave before stepping over to Nancy, with the meeting adjourned she could talk to her as a friend. What in the world could she say to her to reassure her though. It all felt like lies. And Niah didn't lie if she could help it, not that she was any good at it anyway. "Nancy." She started and looked at her friend in the eyes. "We've got this." If it had been anyone else Niah would have tried to hug them. Instead, she nodded and turned to leave. She had traps to get set up with her cohort. Tasks at hand. Something to distract her from the horror of the future that maybe, just maybe they could keep from the worse possible outcome.

When she arrived at the Cohort, decked in her armor and sword on her back (though invisible), the cohort stirred. "It is time to prepare for war. The Titans are coming to us. Our task is to prepare the field with traps to defend Terminus and Camp Jupiter." As soon as she was done talking the cohort nodded and started getting ready. One ran off to find any of the others of the second cohort who weren't in place.
