Skill: Magic

An easy solution to their problem presented itself when Abyss decided to show why his name was such. Ed flicked his wrist through Reaper toward him...and missed throwing Reaper instead into a building. Oops. However, Ed felt himself being pulled in toward Abyss. He considered his options, doubting that hitting Abyss would do much good. So he threw a few force blasts at Reaper hoping to keep him pinned down at the building and not rejoining the fray.

He then reached out and grabbed a lamp post he was sliding past and held on for dear life. Ed wished he had a grenade or something. Though he couldn't know if that would hurt Abyss. He had a lot of questions on how Abyss' power worked. Ed doubted he'd get any of those answers though.

Ed kept the one creature he had under the shield wires pinned into place, though it felt like he was starting to lose that hold, he wasn't certain how much longer he could keep it. Keeping it out of the fight was an effective tool. It meant there was one less to worry about. He saw Annie fall, but she picked herself back up and was still fighting. So he figured for now she'd be okay. He could heal everyone after. Pietro was right. As long as no one was on death's doorstep.

A bit of damage control would be good, but he heard what Runa said and knew that someone had to contradict her. "No it isn't." Ed said loudly. He knew how Runa's powers worked and it was simple to see what she was trying to do. The fire was hot and the group was in danger. But maybe just maybe Runa, here in the garden of her family, would be powerful enough to contradict the reality stone.

Rose snorted at her mother's comment. It was a tender moment. Something she wished she could hold onto. But someone was attacking them and she had an arrow in her shoulder. She winced. It was going to be nearly impossible for her to use a bow now. "Thank you." She told her mom as she put a table cloth on the wound. "Go help fight. I'm gonna duck under the table until we can get this out safely."

She took over keeping pressure on the wound and climbed down under the table. She closed her eyes and leaned against the leg of the table. This was not ideal, but it was the first time she had ever been seriously wounded. She knew she wouldn't be any help in the fight. It would be better if she was out of the way so no one had to worry about her.

"Yeah, Willow has that look of someone rich, who would be into buying weird artifacts." He said when it was suggested she pose as a buyer. She did seem like the nervous type so he wasn't certain how good she would be at lying. That was on her though. If she couldn't keep it together they'd be doomed. "I don't mind doing the switch. I can probably Indian Jones it." And hopefully without the giant boulder chasing him after.

He looked at the closet and sighed. "Yeah, sure I'll go in the closet, but only for a little bit." He said and winked at Maddie hoping he would get the joke. Then he went into the closet to wait. He considered making another joke about seven minutes in heaven but decided against it. Since Maddie was already blushing it'd be hilarious to see how red he could turn.

Dalisy considered just summoning the bifrost herself. It was a tempting option, but she hadn't used it on her own much so her control was...lacking. She didn't want to get dropped off somewhere she didn't intend to go. It would be better to ask her father. She wondered though if the Thanes would have them even be the ones to go deal with the situation. It felt like they were the Scooby-doo gang and getting involved in stuff the 'adults' would be better off dealing with.

She kept an eye on Loki though as they rushed down to the Hall. He was still there. "He is still there, but there is some cultist of his coming to break him out." She explained. Her father was certainly going to see that just as well as she had. And give her words some credance. Part of her stomach twisted, what if what she was looking at was an illusion too though. Could Loki fool her...Could he fool her father?

There was a lot of information for Andy to parse out of this conversation. She got a name for one of the people. And some interesting thoughts. Andy could tell by Selene's reactions that Erik as a king wasn't the problem, more that she thought it was unlikely he'd be a powerful one. She filed that reaction away.

What made things interesting was that it seemed that Erik had been a king in a different reality. Andy thought that over and came to the opinion that where she currently was was also not her reality. That made more sense. And the only common denominator for her was Selene but was she a common piece for Selene. Did she know who she was?

Everyone was looking for two people. Neither of whom Andy had any idea about. She sighed and looked at the green-haired girl, the Ker. The girl seemed to have known Andy. She had been there when whatever had caused her to slip into this reality happened. But she seemed to be from here. If Selene didn't know who she was Andy decided she would stick with the green-haired girl, and try to keep up the pretense that she belonged here as long as possible. Though, Andy realized, it may already be too late for that.

Why weren't there psychics in the Iron? Niah didn't ask, but she kept the question, it would be good to ask later if the opportunity arose. Maybe after they got out of the handcuffs. She didn't know when that would be. And part of her figured her sister would look for her if she disappeared off the face of the planet. Though Dalisy would probably confront...well...Dalisy. This wouldn't be easy. Especially considering her sister's habit of leaping before looking.

Some tension went out of Niah's shoulders when Woo left. He was entertaining the idea. Or he had decided they were too insane to bother with. "I figured Novi would have told her." She said resting her head on the table for a moment thinking. "Have you met Lance Banner?" She asked Bonnie lifting her head back up. "I did when Wanda did her thing." She was trying to be vague, but Bonnie should understand what she was talking about. "So did Novi, and when she looked at Lance she saw that he was the same 'soul', if you will, as Sparky.

Matt was the exception. He was Inhuman. He wondered how the Inhuman population was treated here. Was the Moonbase still intact? He doubted the Mist had been released. He suddenly had a lot of questions about that but kept his mouth smartly shut. He had some understanding of Genosha and wondered how legitimized it was here.

Then Dr. Lewis entered the room. Matt was a little concerned because it felt like an interrogation tactic. Switching interrogators would put them off balance. He was partially glad though because Rambeau was not taking them seriously at all. It seemed she was just looking for any excuse to throw them away somewhere very dark and forgotten about. Things got real interesting right after that when the new woman set off an EMP.

Matt blinked into the darkness a little surprised at first and then reflexively ducked down. Half expecting Raynor to dive for him as soon as he was free. Matt hoped Raynor couldn't somehow see in the dark. He pulled off the collar and put it on the ground. A jailbreak didn't seem like a good way to prove they were innocent...though Matt had a feeling this woman was here for Raynor.

Andy would have had to be blind to not see that Demi was upset. She had no idea how to make him feel better. Andy was going to ask if Demi wanted to hold Chocolate, but Arthur made the choice for him. She smiled, it was a sad smile. "He's really sweet." As for the question about their day she frowned. There was a lot to talk about. She didn't know where to start. Arthur covered some of it.

"Today has been hard. Aunt Mads is going to get hurt, but I am determined to help her." The day felt so long. Apollo had been there that morning and melted the snow and ruined her snowman and that was just the beginning of everything that had gone wrong. Though she and Arthur had had fun practicing with the marbles. She hadn't had a chance to look at the book, but she would that night before going to sleep. "But yeah what has you upset? Is it just the fight with the Romans?"

Niah was relieved it hadn't come to blows. She had still expected it to. "It should be someone as neutral as possible. I think Mary is a good choice." She knew Andy wouldn't be neutral, and she was a little kid still. She knew Nancy wouldn't be neutral around Cassian considering his lineage.

"You have the floor now Chiron, please, let us move on from this and discuss the future." She told him and stepped over to where the rest of the Romans had gathered. She let her hold on everyone's emotions drop and hoped it was the right choice.

Rose sat next to Cassi. "Is there something you think would be better for me not to remember?" Rose asked her mom. "I had a few start to come back, but it hasn't happened in a while." She wondered if maybe letting it happen naturally would be better. She supposed she could talk to Merlin about it more later.

Rose stuck her tongue out at Cassi for her question about her as a baby. "Doesn't matter if I was or not. I was cute." She nudged Cassi, "Not much different than you now." She grinned and winked at Cassi. Half expecting her mom to say something. She really hoped homophobia wasn't an issue here.

Colby Jackson

Location: Agrabah

Colby was still interested. He was only shocked that Willow didn't know what a Wookie was, but he didn't bother trying to explain it to the kid who had grown up in a different world than he had. Colby didn't want to oversell himself though for this situation. "I'm good with sleight of hand and sneaking, but I can't like pick locks or anything."

The truth was if it hadn't been for working with the cats at the pet store, Colby probably would have ended up with a bad crowd. He had always been quick to fight and get into trouble. He wasn't good enough at what he did to really get away with it too. Coming here was good for him. Maddie was good for him too, but Maddie probably would follow him into trouble.

Any healing Ed had accomplished was out the window now. He was bleeding heavily from his chest. This was a later problem he decided. These guys needed to be taken out now. He attempted to create a bubble shield inside Reaper, but he failed to create the shield. He tried a second time, this time going for a large shield outside Reaper with the intention of shrinking it on the man. This failed too. Whatever damage had been done to Ed seemed to have caused his magic to have issues. This made it more important to end the fight as fast as possible.

Ed took a deep breath and focused, gritting his teeth. This time a bubble appeared around Reaper and started shrinking. He let his breath out slowly. This might at least keep Reaper distracted for a bit. They could focus their physical attacks on Abyss. If Thalia and Jade could get Abyss out that would give them even more of an advantage against Reaper.

Miraculously, despite the near-death experience, Ed maintained his concentration on the creature he held down. While he felt like he wasn't doing enough in this fight since all he had done was hold the creature down, it felt like something at least. It was one less monster trying to kill them.

"Thank you, Pietro." He said. Ed noticed the damage on Pietro and started trying to heal him. The orange glow that left his hand wasn't enough. "Uh, Pietro. Your leg is really damaged. How are you even walking on that?" He asked. There was a risk that if he healed it right now it could be permanently damaged. Ed's sister could have done it, but not Ed. He wasn't a good enough healer. It had only been since he joined the X-Men that he needed to use his healing a lot. This was something Lance would need to look at before he felt confident in healing the leg.
