I'll be honest I've never been to New York before and while I know it has a simple grid layout I'd like something to use for visualization. Whichever of you, Thalia or Jade doesn’t go for the City Hall should go on recon. I’ll stay here.” He said expanding on Thalia’s idea of splitting the group to get more done in less time. He figured it would be a good idea to get Jade out of the base before she punched someone. Mary would be staying to work on her pollen so maybe Lance and Cassandra could go on the recon mission. As for Thor, the Hulk, and the Thing it would be good to keep them back for now. None of them were the most subtle. In the end, though this was all still a suicide mission. If anyone survived he’d be surprised.

They had two possible plans, and maybe the plans could work in tandem. Depending on how powerful Mary made her knock-out pollen. The more plans and backup plans they had the better off they were. Jade was being a bit unreasonable and wasn't looking at the possibilities in his opinion. But maybe if he presented the ideas to her and had her fine-tune them she'd calm down.

Ed followed Wolverine into the building. When they entered the room with Klara. He smiled. He couldn’t help it. The woman on the couch was Klara. Maybe not their Klara, but maybe she was. The part of him that feared the Klara they had been traveling with was wrong, was a creation or Loki in disguise hoped that they had finally found their Klara.

"You can call me Ed." He told Klara, as the Bethany look-a-like Nightlock walked into the room. Behind her was his own look-a-like. He was suddenly very glad his twin had been a sister and not an identical brother. That would have made this very uncomfortable.

"Not sure how I feel about it." Mage said frowning looking at his double. What would their differences mean?

Well, that didn't go as planned. Niah thought irritation spiking through her as the pain flattened out. She wasn't certain if her nose was broken, but she had been in worse pain so she wasn't too bothered by it. She reached over and grabbed the headphones and shoved them back into her pocket before slamming herself into a seat and buckling in. Even with the others gaining something resembling control over the air ship she didn’t want to risk it going out again. Lesson learned do not ride in aircraft without being seated and buckled in.

Niah didn't really have the time to evaluate her feelings about Celestine dying. She hadn't completely processed it. She also hadn't been close to the woman. She had only just joined and Niah had learned that newcomers were either dangerous or would die soon. Maybe that wasn't a great way to look at things, but she had become a bit desensitized to it. "Thank you, Sparky." She said. Her voice was a little muffled and stuffy sounding.

A lot happened very quickly. Matt held on to the bar and tried to help but there wasn't much he could do without risking getting hurt himself. In the end, he threw himself into a seat and buckled up. "Damn." How the hell the blade had killed Celestine was beyond him. It was a ridiculous series of coincidences in order for it to happen.

They couldn't even ask her what had happened. Matt hadn't been with the group as long. He wasn't used to the string of people joining the group and then dying or being traitors. This was a shock for him. And he didn't even know what to think about it.

Andy hadn't gotten very far outside the Green Lagoon when Magento showed up. It was odd timing. Some wild coincidence, but she didn't think it was that weird. She gave a half-hearted smile. "Oh, the conversation just got really awkward." She shrugged. It wasn't a lie. And she didn't know how to explain to Magneto that Sunshine had been trying to get her and Zari to hook up and how Zari was more oblivious about it than was normal.

Andy took a quick look at Magneto's face and tried to get a read. She tended to be able to tell with people because of having lived on the streets of who was safe to talk to and who wasn't. She also knew that Magento only really emoted when he was livid, and he didn't look livid so she hopped it would be safe to ask.

"How was the meeting?" She asked, trying to draw the conversation away from her personal problems she didn't particularly want to face. Since he wasn't pissed that meant any other part of the spectrum was possible, but it was unlikely the question would result in a disastrous response.

Rose nodded at the response from the prisoner and gave a feral grin at Robin Hood's idea for how to deal with them. She turned and followed Robin Hood out of the tent. "One since they came here to attack us they know where we are. Two if we can find this lake and drop off location we can turn it into a trap." Her smile hadn't dropped.

"Think about it Maleficent is expecting these guys to drop us off at this location and we get picked up, and then taken where? Probably somewhere close. We have Merlin. Maybe he can do a tracking spell or something and we get taken into her lair and make her sorely regret it. Or we just ambush her." She shrugged. She'd be happier just ambushing her.

"Thank you." Colby said to the waiter before the disappeared. He looked at Aurora as she posed her question. Life in Kansas didn't feel real anymore. But he had friends and family there. Even if they weren't blood. Even though they had lied to him his whole life about being adopted. He did love his parents. He also had felt like he had a bit of a calling there. He took care of animals. He wanted to become a vet tech.

Here though he had magic. Once they dealt with the problem that was Maleficent he could be a wizard. "I'd like to go back and get a few things and tie up a few loose ends." He said. "But I think I'd want to be here. Well not necessarily Agrabah." He gave a bright crooked smile. "I really want to test myself at tea party hosting and that isn't easy to do at home.

Andy finished her food, making sure Chocolate got some too. She stood up and smiled brightly at Arthur. "That sounds like a good idea." She didn't know when they would be leaving but any stolen moment was worth it. And she didn't know what to get from the store.

She really wasn't certain what to take with her other than her weapons. She had her weapons and her book, and she'd be traveling with her aunt who could teach her some of the stuff from the book. She took care of her plate and started toward the clearing, calling Chocolate to follow. He didn't count against the alone time.

Over the summer Andy had celebrated her first birthday in a long time. She hadn't told her brother even that it was her birthday. Only Arthur. She had only wanted to spend the day with him. It had been the best birthday she had had yet.

She shook her head. "You're right. But I'd rather it be a couple of Greeks than Leandra." Even if the Greeks in question were a child of Mars and Ceres, emphasize child for the later one.

"I can't promise I'll be okay." She set down her plate and shifted. With Nancy's back to her, she couldn't be certain, but there weren't many reasons for Nancy to do that. Niah knew she couldn't make a promise like that, as much as she wanted to. She understood why so many people had little broken promises written all over their souls for the first time, none of those were really Oaths. Not in the sense of what she could do. She had already made an oath though. She would look for Mads until she got her back or she died trying. "We'll do what we have to."

"Dark X-Men?" The group was actually just straight-up called that? "Who is part of that group?" She asked. She couldn't say for certain about herself, but she didn't think she was. The Niah here was broken, very broken. Something Niah had gotten close to so she understood herself. Her head hurt a bit. Maybe she had experienced too many alternate realities. It felt like it was getting to her. Trying to keep it all straight. She was mostly ignoring the fight about Raynor. Not because she didn't care, but because she wasn't surprised. She sat down but didn't buckle in. A decision she quickly regretted.

"Celestine! Fight it!" She yelled as it dawned on her what happened. Something, possible PHIL, had gotten into her head and taken control. It wasn't a big leap. Maybe the mind-control-preventive headphones she had would help? If not Celestine it might help Maria with her issue? The headphones had been designed by Doom and had worked against Tinely, so it might not, but it would be worth the try.

"I wasn't saying I was going to spill the beans. I was saying it needed to be talked about. Putting it on the agenda of shit we need to figure out." Why were people putting words into his mouth? He hadn't said 'oh btw Raynor is a genocidal maniac'. He shook his head taking a deep breath. Working with Flynn and Raynor was impossible sometimes. They always assumed the worst and made snap judgments. Really they needed to decide if keeping Raynor on the team was a good idea. Matt didn't think it was.

Then the ship was dropping. Seemingly out of control and Celestine was gone. Not physically, but mentally. No rest. No break. No chance to think about what was going on just dropped into the next bit of chaos and danger. Matt tried to reach for something to catch himself. He didn't particularly want to end up as a splatter somewhere. He hopped Cass would be okay on her own though. She had dermal armor, but that wouldn't stop her insides from getting sloshed around if they hit hard enough.

Well, that made things interesting. Klara was here but brain scrambled. Maybe that explained what happened to their Klara. He hated to think it but he was glad the answer was potentially that. He had gone a lot worse places when thinking about what was wrong with Klara. Ed still couldn't shake the feeling that Loki had something to do with it.

"Yeah strange is one way to put it. But I'm sure our world would be strange those from here." He gave a bit of a shrug. He was curious about more than Stark tower.

"What happened to New York? It is so quiet" New York was never quiet. It was a city that never slept. But there weren't a lot of cars or other people around. It was like a ghost town.

Rose's smile stayed. It was her way of covering what emotion she actually felt. She was livid. What did Maleficent think she could gain at this point? They had all been reunited with their parents? "I have a question for you Robin Hood, but I think it would be better to not have that conversation in front of mercenaries." She said the last word with disdain.

She needed to know if anyone knew why Maleficent had wanted them in the first place. What was her plan for the kids? Was it just to end the bloodlines of all the big heroes? Then why take them alive? "However," She started turning back to the prisoner. "Where were you going to take us?" Maybe they could go to whatever rendezvous they had and use it as a trap?

"Oh trust me we'll be having a tea party when we deal with Maleficent." Colby gave Willow a feral grin. He hoped the waiter wasn't a spy, because Willow had been really obvious in front of the waiter. He figured if his dad and Mad Hatter came here often enough the waiter probably was okay, please be okay.

Well, that hadn't exactly been the best description. Zari was still very confused. A fearful thought crossed Andy's mind. Did Zari even know what sex was? That fit with the possibility of her being Ace. Maybe she had never had the desire for...usually by late teen years self-exploration had happened.

"I think...I'm going to go for a walk." Andy said quickly. She stood up almost knocking over the table she was at before going out of the Green Lagoon. Not that outside provided much privacy from the others. How did it all get so weird? She had just been hanging out. She rubbed her face with the palms of her hands, which were cold despite it being the middle of summer.
