Junko looked
damn good, in her opinion. It was her first day of high school, after all; she had to make a first impression. Over her rather typical school uniform, she was wearing a leather jacket with an Ouija board design on the back, and she had bows in her hair with plastic skeleton hands on them.
She may have looked great, but she felt quite the opposite. She just couldn’t shake the gloomy feeling brought on by the beginning of school. Looking at her, you’d be surprised that a
literal raincloud hadn’t materialized over her head. She had a sour expression and a slumped posture befitting only the angstiest of emo kids.
She missed her cat. Why couldn’t she bring him to school with her?
Junko put her things away in her locker, and went out into the courtyard, avoiding interacting with anyone. She leaned against a tree and slowly sunk to the ground, pulling out a book and hoping as hard as she could that no one would talk to her until she was at least a
little more awake.
