Appearance, Personality & Bio:Kushina is a light girl with a short blond hair that doesn't go past her shoulders and clear aqua-blue eyes. She's generally a quiet person with a tendency to simply idle around when there's no need for action, though she doesn't isolate herself from the others, it's just that Kushina really likes to lay down and rest, specially if it's on a warm place.
While Kushina isn't specially gifted at academics, or sports, she's a very talented musician, playing the flute as if the instrument was an extension of her own body and soul. She's also very knowledgeable about the lore and politics of the Youkai society, which is to be expected, since she's the daughter of the Hokkaido faction leader, Izuna, and a wandering minstrel that traveled the Japanese countryside during the Sengoku era.
Kushina grew free of most of the obligations that shackled down a high birth Youkai, since she was a hybrid, and instead traveled the country with her father learning things and visiting places. Overall, life was enjoyable and calm for young half-kitsune, but as her body began to reach puberty, her aging process tarted to get slower and slower. Her father was on his death bed before Kushina looked older than a ten-years-old and the young, by her mother's race standards, girl learned a her first lesson about death once the man who raised her expired away with a smile in his wrinkled lips.
After moving to her mother's homeland, the situation was reversed. While the other Youkai remained atemporal, Kushina grew older and older and it looked like she was fated to die before some of them ever learned how to walk properly. It didn't fazed the young girl, but still she found the reality of her dual nature to be quite harsh, leaving her without a place to be in any of the two worlds.
It was then that Kushina met a couple of mysterious travelers and after much talking with them and asking for her mother's permission, she decided to abandon either of her natures and be reborn as a devil, so that she could live long enough to not let her mother cry about her death, like Kushina did with her father.
Powers:In addition to all the standard Devil abilities, like flight and enhanced physical prowess, as well as the boost to her magic powers from the Bishop Evil Piece, Kushina has the powers of a noble member of her mother's race coupled with the humans' drive for success and greatness. She also posses a special kind of Sacred Gear that was the reason for Faye turning her into her first Bishop. The list of Kushina's powers is as follows:
-Magic: Kushina can use all sorts of magic powers available to any member of the Devil race, as well as the spirit magic of the Youkai race. She has a knack for spells that deal with fire, wind or, thanks to Faye's influence, earth. While Kushina isn't very good at healing, she's at her best when using spells that enhance her allies powers.
-Fox Fire: Kushina can summon and control the mythical flames of the kitsune folk, said to be so hot as to melt steel like it was a chocolate put bar under the sun.
-Fox Shape: Kushina can shapeshift into a large nine tailed fox about the same size as her human body. In this form her magic and physical prowess are increased, but she can't do tasks that require fine handling, so her sacred gear becomes useless. While she can still talk, her voice comes out along with an imposing echo as if it was coming from the depths of a great cave.
-Sacred Gear, Windwalker's Flute: Kushina's Sacred Gear is a flute that allows her to control the wind in various forms, from the gentlest breeze to the most furious typhoon. With enough time she learned to extend this control to other weather elements, like the rain and even the lightning, but changing the weather in such ways takes time ad effort. Since the flute must be played properly to work, Kushina can't use her Sacred Gear while in her fox form.
