@Augmented

The person that everyone has been waiting for arrived and is about to explain what the real problem is.
@KoL

A certain someone is going to be quite irked once they realize their parasol is missing.

:3

But you know that she had more of them. This one is even red, not green.
Ok, it took me a little longer than I expected, but the post is there. Now we can start to set this thing on fire.
Sonomachi City - Dangeki Cosplay Café

As more and more time passed Chasers, human and youkai alike, continued to filter in Shiina's prized business. Some of their meetings were friendly, some hostile and some completely indifferent, just as the nature of sentient beings dictates. Nevertheless, the main guest of the night, Miss Akane Chikage, also known as the Mistress of the Red Cloud, was yet to arrive.

Eos

In the meanwhile, Eos continued to stare down at Rosa in her ever so robotic way of being until the idol girl finally spoke to her, prompting Eos to reply "We can't interrupt onee-sama, so I can't play now" to Rosa's first question and "Waiting", for her second. Anyway, the robot maid continued to stare at Rosa, in hopes that the girl would place an order soon, though when she noticed the sudden rise on the influx of patrons, Eos bowed curteously to Rosa "If you need anything, please ask any of us. Now, excuse me" and went to Tomori's side "Tomori-senpai, do you need me for anything?" she asked the pint-sized water elemental.

Reiko

Reiko arrived just as the the reunion on Dangeki was about to start for real. The world's most powerful mage, was a traveller with a penchant of coming and going whenever she pleases, but she always came back to this weird café when she was around Sonomachi. Thus, it was no surprise that a few of the Chasers already here would be known to her, specially her pupil who was currently being harrassed by none other than Eiko.

"Nice to meet you again, Shiina. How are things going?" Reiko greeted the vampire ninja maid as she passed by her side "There's an awful lot of people here tonight. I bet that Chikage is going to make that a public matter" she commented in a low enough voice so that only Shiina would be able to hear her, before moving to Yuudai's table and raising a hand to place an order for a cup of café au lait, just as usual.

Once it was settled, she turned to Yuudai and Eiko "Can't you two get along even for once? This way, you can't blame the others if they end up thinking that you two are couple, or something like that" Reiko said, not losing the chance to poke at their rivalry. Hopefully, this comment would be enough to separate them, the Scarlet Sage thought.

Chikage's Arrival

Nevertheless, everyone's jest would have to wait. A sudden darkening, or better, a blackout darker than even the deepest reaches of ocean, or a cave where light never reached, marked the arrival of tonight's VIP. The darkness was so black and sticky that it was comparable to being plunged into a pool of tar and even beings capable of seeing in the dark were blinded by it and sound itself was absorbed by the choking nature of the black tide.

Thankfully, the ocean of blackness washed away as suddenly as it had come and on the place where the weird duo from before was sitting, now a young woman of indeterminate age, dressed in traditional Japanese clothing sat. She was swinging her feet and twirling an umbrella over her right shoulder, while her eyes ran around the Dangeki, scanning its... unique patrons and staff.

"Ara, it's been such a long time, right, my dear Shiina?" Chikage said, greeting the establishment's master "You seen to have gathered quite a lot here, even some new faces. This actually pretty good." the ancient youkai said in an amused tone as a grin found it's way to her face. It was clear that Chikage was enjoying the spectacle that she had set up more than it was right to, which was to be expected of a being known as a legendary troll.

Eventually, Chikage turned to the Chasers and said "I'm aware that most of you know of me, but for those who don't, I'm Akane Chikage the leader of the Youkai Junction. Before I get to the reason why you all have been called here tonight, I'd like to know if any of you has any questions? Specially the youkai children who still don't know of the Junction." after saying so, Chikage fell silent and kept staring at the Chasers as she twirled her umbrella over shoulder, thinking of a certain someone that would probably snap hers, if she knew what was happening.
<Snipped quote by KoL>

Sasha:"If a repeat of Istanbul happens again, my boss is going to scold me again..."

Itsuko: "You blew that train on your own. Don't look at me."

Edit:

God damn it! I can't believe my luck. I stopped thinking about RP to do an assignment and then when I'm about to finish and ready to go back to RPing a power outage happens.

Just my luck... just my luck.
@PKMNB0Y Sure. I'll try to post tomorrow, by the way.
@A Common Hero

I'm with you on the worriness about lore knowledge, 'cause noisy of my understanding of the series comes from the few main games that I've played and even then, it was quite a long ago, SI I might not be as sharp about a particular character as a hardcore fan.

On that matter, I was fancying Tidus too, though my first and foremost choice will be Agrias if none snags her when the OOC is open. Maybe even a romance between the two, who knows? After all,

"Listen to my story..."
@j8cob You're ok. Proceed like everyone else, please.

Just a small announcement, people. Tonight is the last of my exams, so I'll put forth a post either when I get back from college (if I'm not too tired) or when I wake up tomorrow. SO, the RP is kicking of in not much longer than 12 hours.

Once mre, sorry for the big wait and thank you for joining this RP.

Bye!
Seeing as we don't really have an example of Itsuko as a teacher, it's hard to say exactly how she'll do. But regardless of both arguments, I think it's best to keep in mind that it is a school for assassins and if she can't do her job properly by teaching all of the students she's assigned, not just the one's she's in a flirtatious relationship with, then she likely won't be a teacher for long.

You're actually right, but just as you said, there has not been an example of Itsuko as a teacher yet, since classes (which hers up to now is the only one that seems to matter, RPwise) begin on the next day, expect it to come soon enough.

Anyway, since I'm also craving to use her in a fight, I came up with the perfect plan. Anyone who can beat Itsuko in a fight (terms will be explained later) won't have to attend her classes for the rest of the semester, 'cause if you can beat your teacher, it means that she has nothing more to teach you.

Just you all don't go thinking that it's easy to defeat her (she's like the goddamn Batman, FYI). Accepting her challenge wont be mandatory too, you can chose to fight or take classes in whatever way suits you all best.
@KoL I know Kol, but how long will her class go till people either stop showing up because they don't like being boss around by her in a boot camp-esque class or just stop listening to her and take their problems up with Saya about how the class is, see the little problems can become a big problem.

Drill sergeant like PE teachers are a classic archetype of fiction everywhere, not just anime, and even when they put their students to near death experiences it's not seen as anything wrong because they are just training their bodies which is their duty as PE teachers. Now, consider that we are on an assassination school and you'll see my point.

If you still don't see it, I guess that you force me to bring evidence #1:

I bet that Says wouldn't heed to crybabies too. "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen..." Another even better example would be Naruto's Chuunin (pretty sure I wrote it wrong, BTW) Exams, which actually kill the students during the procedures, so whatever is it that Itsuko does, it can't be wrong.

@Spriggs27@KoL

I see both points. It does seem to come RKO right the fuck outta nowhere! With the sudden promotion and all. And all things considered, her character is devilishly unsuiting of a good teacher. Teacher-student romances are frowned upon, to put it lightly, in most places, so this could hit a few sore spots. And you will have to keep in close collaboration with Windel and Spriggs to make sure that things don't get too out of hand, but I get the feeling that's been happening anyway.

However, what must be remembered is, this is an RP, a particularly unrealistic one at that. As long as it can be rationalised within RP limits (which it can), doesn't take away from good storylines (which it may, but remains to be seen) and keeps interest high (which is really up to everyone's interactions with the 'new teacher') I can't really see a problem with it.

If this can happen for the sake of comedy, I don't see why I would be in the wrong.

Let's put this discussion in a better light. You guys can try to pointing my failures and question my logic as many times as you want, but I'll bring in a bible's wroth of example to prove that Itsuko is a valid teacher as long as this is an anime inspired RP (which it's). So...

Can we stop it before I'm forced to dig even more references?
