@TheWindel

I know that. I'll have Itsuko act on her own for the time being. A little bit of chaos won't hurt anyone, will it?

I'd like to wait for @Spriggs27 to post before I do something with Addie, however, so my next post will probably be only for Kaede and Itsuko.
Eris Valkeyr

Eris lifted an eyebrow as she closed her history and gazed straight at Cassandra's eyes. Sure, the girl was an idealist, however, her words weren't spoken with the same sophistry present in the adults who had already been corrupted by the rottenness of the World Interface. She was an intriguing figure to Eris, one that succeeded in doing what most others couldn't up to now, that is catch the interest of the cold hearted fräulein "Your opinions intrigue me, Cassandra O'Shera. Do you really believe that good intentions can change the world? In this day and age?"

The blonde silently took some of her milkshake, twisting it slowly as she assessed Cassadra's reaction, before she finally said "Thou shalt not have any other gods before me... Isn't that how it's supposed to be? And now, look. What have we done if not create a god of silicon and set it on a shining throne high up in the skies?" To further her point, Eris touched the approximate place where the microchip that connected her to the World Interface was implanted. Eris probably didn't even needed to say what it was about, if Cassandra had at least a passing knowledge of religion, even though, all of this was but an anecdote.

Sure, Eris could see the same patterns as any fanatic on the streets, but she wasn't that much worried about the fact that the chip that was forced inside of everyone's head if they wished to have decent life was pretty much 'The Mark of the Beast', or that the World Interface was a digital Anti-Christ. No, nothing of these things mattered to Eris, but they sure were useful means of evaluating someone's morals and so Eris liked to go back to them every now and then. What really mattered is the revenge that she swore to get, for the fact that the Interface ruined her life and destroyed her family all because of what? A mere game?

"A joke," Eris thought, "A damned, bitter joke... all of this is nothing but rubbish."

However, Cassandra spoke the truth, for the most part. What was it that students like they could do when even the world most wanted digital terrorists never achieved to do any real damage to the system? But Eris knew it, that somewhere on Deep Ground an answer to her questions must exist. Why else would it be a game so odd?

"Nevertheless, you are mostly right, yet I won't give up until the last minute, no the last second, I have within that world. There must be a way to reach my goal from there. How else do you explain it being a game that follows so many strange rules? It's almost as if..."
Eris clenched her fist in a challenging move, before finishing her monologue with "they were so confident in their omnipotence that they are challenging us to find it. And, just this once, I'm more than happy to oblige..."

@Caits
@KoL

Its fine really, I ent that disappointed. You just gotta make it up to me >x>

Still Reko could just be on a long job or something for the time being at least I guess. Either way as long as the story advances I ent bothered by it. Just gotta have some badass fights =w=

That is what will happen to say the truth. Now, I just need to think on what to do about the RP.
Miso City Outskirts - Kaname All Girls Academy

Chapter 00 - House of Cards

-4-

The battles were turning more and more intense, and the weird encounters of the girls more and more odd. However, the night was still young and the main event was yet to unfold.

What would be the face of the true culprit behind such a series of chaotic mishaps? This, is about to be revealed, though some more silly battles were bound to happen before that, right?

Magical Justice

It wasn't long before Chinatsu Akane, or better Magical Justice, reached the dormitory buildings. Making a stand at the top of nearby water tower, Justice observed the dormitories courtyard in search of anything out of order. It was almost imperceptible, but she noticed a small spot of white moving within the red haze of the sealed space, coming out of one of the rooms in search of a way to break the barrier and unleash havok on the real world.

Not losing any time, Justice shot a couple of weak attacks close to the possessed object, before taking a deep breath and whispered to herself "Can't screw this now. I don't wanna be a bother to the others...", and finally turning to the Minor Arcana possessed object, which she could now clearly discern as a bed sheet ghost.

"Stop right there!" With the moon behind her and the dramatic wind billowing her clothes and hair, Justice pointed her staff to the silly monster and shouted, "Getting into a girl's room and stealing'er bed clothes is a crime I can't overlook, your days of pranks shall end here. I'm Magical Girl Justice Arcana."

"By the Heaven's Decree, let Justice fall on you!"

•••

"Ururururu!" The monster shouted just as Justice somersaulted from the water tower and shot a volley of swords in his direction while still in mid-air, this time, with the intent to hit. However, before the attack connected, the bed sheet weaved out of the path of the attack and coiled itself, before lashing at Justice.

Justice blocked the sheet's counter with her staff and rolled on the ground just as she landed "Hey! You're a bed sheet, not a towel!" Justice shouted as she got back to her feet, just before doing a backflip to avoid yet another of the sheet's vicious lashes.

"Ururururu!" the bed sheet continued to pressure Justice, using the remaining momentum of each attack to make the next one be even faster and more painful. It looks like this was finally the day when the laundry would do you.

That is, until Justice's feet finally landed on a wall and she used the foothold to propel herself forward in a spinning kick that finally hit the mark. Or so she thought, because this was exactly the sheet's plan and once Justice's feet connected with it, the sheet twisted around and hurled Justice against the other building, using her own acceleration against her. The sheet's 95% cotton and 5% polyester fabric, sending Justice in a world of silky pain.

"Argh!" Justice shouted as her small fame collided against the wall. "To think that I'd get a beating from a piece of fabric. That's a new one for me..." Justice said as she got back to her feet and shook the dust off dress, before collecting herself and getting ready for round two "But don't go claim victory already, 'cause when I finish with you the only thing you'll be for is as tissues." And then, she pointed her staff at it again and a veritable rain of swords fell on the courtyard, making it look like the ground zero of a carpet bombing.

Once the dust settled, the only thing left of the bed sheet were rags and a Minor Arcana card, the Reversed Four of Swords, floated idly in the air about them, waiting for Justice to purify it. "The Four of Swords, huh? Looks like someone has been neglecting her rest for too long... Well, this shall free them of their problems." Justice said as she twirled her staff around, like a gymnastics baton, summoning a ribbon of purple light that soon enveloped the Reversed Card as Justice pronounced the cleansing spell:

"You who was led astray by the whims of fate
By the name of the rulers of fate, the Major Arcana
All wrongs shall become rights
Arcana Cleanse!"

•••

After the battle was over, Justice stored the captured card on her card holster (which was strapped her left thigh, partially hidden by her skirt) and, casted another spell:

"Sword of Answers
Give me sight beyond sight
Fragarach!"

And summoned a short sword made of prismatic crystal that floated gently over her extended palm. At about the same time a copy of the same blade appeared besides Reika and Owari (who presumably have ended their fights by now as well), projecting Akane's voice "Hi there, girls! Are you ok? I finished with my own already, but the barrier hasn't lost any strength. You know what it means, right? Let's meet at the roof and wait for the MVP to come out."

Aw, Kits, I'm sorry. The Pullen isn't you, but the complete lack of interest that I grew over Chasers after doing it three times in a row.

If I'm to salvage this RP, I should focus on GMing instead of playing, so I'll have to let Reiko go for the time being.

Nevertheless, this doesn't clear the guilt that I'm feeling over disappointing you again. Sorry.
Ok, I'll change my previous statements, after reading the last few posts.

I'm really glad that the RP is going like it's and everyone is enjoying the random silliness of magical girl adventures.

Keep it up, folks!
OK, finally finished my next post. It was a bit bigger than I expected, thought. That's why it took me so long to have it done.

Curiously enough, I noticed that Kurenai looks really similar to Shana:

Rivenwood - Outskirts Plains

"You clearly underestimate a peddler's persistence, or... our resourcefulness, Sir Knight." Mikoto said as she sidestepped Astrea's blade, deftly sparing her hat from a gruesome fate "Also, nobody touches the hat."

However, when the giant snake thing lunged at her, Mikoto was still out of proper balance and so she was captured in the serpentine grip with easy "Mmm... ugh..." the peddler moaned as she tried to fight against the repulsive reptilian. In due time, Mikoto plunged her hand on one of her many pockets and with great effort retrieved a flask containing a fine reddish powder.

Mikoto held her breath, as well as she could while her lungs were being crushed, and closed her eyes before she threw the flask on the ground. A cloud of finely ground pepper covered everything around them a couple of seconds later, turning the world red and hot.

Using the momentary advantage of the pepper cloud, Mikoto disengaged from the ominous ophidian and said, between huffs and coughs "I... cof... hope that your hide is worth something, 'cause you owe me that spice, you damn creep!"

Before the snake could react, Mikoto waved her broom in a sweeping motion, releasing a couple of weak magical exploding runes, hoping that they would do the trick without much damage to her soon-to-be merchandise. Anyway, since the runes were supposed just to knock the snake off its senses for a few seconds, Mikoto had already devised what her next move was going to be and so she produced a strange ocarina from another pocket.

However, this wasn't any normal instrument, as the melody that Mikoto began to play would soon have its effects on the reptile, charming it. The real problem was what to do after that?

Rivenwood Mountains - Village of Orello

Well, it looked like that Sedril was willing to prove that his words weren't just meaningless chatter, which truly impressed Aria as she began to see the boy with better eyes. However, he was still guilty of overconfidence as his next action of dropping his guard to to try to show off to Aria ended with Sedril being hurt by the Roc.

"Hey, keep your eyes on the enemy!" Aria yelled just before tackling Sedril out of the path of the Roc's talons (which opened a huge gash on the ground, exactly where he stood), and rolling with him bellow a nearby wooden street stall. The flimsy cover wouldn't last for much, but at least it was enough for the white haired knight to deliver her plan to Sedril.

"I have a plan to defeat this creature, but I'll need your help todo it," Aria said to Sedril, thought her face was strangely red and she averted his eyes just as she continued, "I'll try to take it down with my most powerful attack, but you need to distract the Roc for long enough for me to prepare it. I'll cast a movement enhancing spell on you, then what you should do is find a way to climb on it and steer it towards the church. I'll be on the tower waiting for you, but you can't miss, because we'll have only one chance."

Soon enough, the Roc had completed another turn and was about to dive on them again. If Sedril wished to follow Aria's plan, or had any ideas of his own, there would be no better time to say it. However, as Aria's restless fidgetting would indicate there was something that her should be taken out of the way first.

"Now," Aria said with a half-embarrassed voice, "Can you please get off?" The red on Aria's face only got more evident when it was clear that they had somehow landed on a pretty compromising position with Sedril on top of Aria and their face no more than five inches away from one another.

Rexicorg - Ancient Ruins

Kurenai and Momo penetrated deep in the dusty hallways of the old ruins, walking step by step always aware of the many traps and creatures that sought to end their lives prematurely... or at least Kurenai's life, because Momo was... well... already dead, anyway.

As they followed their path, the adventurous duo soon noticed a low grumble, or was it a growl? However, what it was didn't mattered as much as the fact that it was coming from a chamber that was right in their path, so there was no avoiding what ever was the source of said sound.

"What do you think it is?" Momo asked just to break the silence that had fell between they. Truth be told, Kurenai was never one to indulge in idle chatter, but there was these times when Momo felt that if she didn't spurred the other girl into talking they would go on forever, like this.

"How am I supposed to know? As far as I'm aware it could be anything from a minotaur to a dragon. Not that I care either way..." Kurenai replied to her ghostly companion in a dispassionate monotone. Sincerely, Kurenai didn't cared about Momo's talkative side, actually, she enjoyed the company of the mysterious ghost who was a, self-proclaimed, childhood friend of hers, despite Kurenai not having a single memory of her past before a year ago when she woke up in a bloody pool with her right arm thorn off at the shoulder. However, there was these moments when Kurenai couldn't take some of Momo's more idiotic remarks and felt an urge to facepalm, this was almost one of them.

Nevertheless, Kurenai's attention was soon diverted off Momo towards the walls the encircled the. On them, carvings depicting the time of tribulations that followed the shattering, were now visible. No matter where she looked there were engravings of people bending down in despair and praying to God as well as images of God sitting in his heavenly throne, passing down judgment on men for their collected sins.

"That must have been a hard time. It looks like these people are suffering, but God doesn't even care for them..." Momo said, without a hint of her characteristic upbeat attitude. Looks like even a carefree ghost can be touched by the suffering of the people from the Age of Tribulations, which actually surprised Kurenai a bit and made her look at Momo with slightly more sympathetic eyes.

"It probably was. That's what people gain from placing their fate on the hands of a divine jerk, instead of doing things on their own." Kurenai replied coldly, since she didn't cared for the fate of people that died thousands of years ago. As harsh as it may sound, most of what happened was their own doing, thus these people probably deserved such a fate.

Not long after, they finally arrived at the chamber from which the roaring was coming from. Its large stone doors were engraved with the images of some kind of mystical beast, a kind of wolf, or some other humongous canine that devoured its victims indiscriminately. However, the beast had been shackled and bound, before being taken away from the world of men, presumably to this prison.

Momo held her breath (as if she needed to) as Kurenai picked on of her swords and slashed away at the chains, prompting the chamber's doors to open slowly, with the sound of stone grinding against stone momentarily overcoming even the rumble from within the chamber. Once they swung full open, a ring of blue torches lit themselves under the power of some spell, to reveal the figure of a girl, or what looked like a small girl, chained to a magic circle engraved on the chamber's floor.

"Name yourself!" Kurenai said as she stepped inside the chamber only to have the doors close behind her with an impossible speed "What, is this a trap?" Kurenai asked, befuddled.

And, as if on cue, Momo replied "I don't know, but I have a very bad feeling about it..."

@Lucius Cypher

Ok, I think that no one will be able to one up you on the choice of an opponent. I seriously think that Trash Krueger is the silliest thing I've ever seen on this site up to now.

Curiously, I was listening to Emiya (the metal remix) before reading it and the contrast was quite interesting when things started to smell fishy.

PS: I forgot to say on my previous post, but obviously, after the transformation you can have an "In the Name of the Moon" speech. It would be rather funny to see a magical girl trying to lecture a trash can, perhaps for littering?
@Lucius Cypher

Sure, go on and chew the scenery! Though, the transformation phrase is required (for the tropes, nonetheless), you can give your spin to it.

For example, I bet that @TheWindel Rika will have about as much passion as an iceberg on her transformation sequence, for example. Though, being a cold girl is what makes her cool, of course.
