Well technically the military hasn't made their equipment resistant to EMPs, they just are moving the important stuff into bunkers which are protected from EMP attacks. The best defense anyone has is Farraday Cages right now. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

You are not wrong, there's no such thing as being immune to EMPs because of the fact that there's no such thing as perfect insulation or shielding. It's just a matter of increasing the charge and eventually any dielectric will give in and become a conductor.

However, modern equipment has a higher threshold against it than older ones had. Yet, let's say, if someone detonated a nuke on low orbit, they would fry a huge portion of the electronics in an appreciable area (I'm talking about half of Canada, for example), just depending on the bomb's yield.

It's still nothing compared to taking a solar flare to the face, but that's as close as we can get at the moment with current tech. Refer to this and you'll see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-altitude_nuclear_explosion
Considering IRL, the modern military has hardened its tech to be resistant to EMPs, I always find it amusing to see the fictional plot device treated as the Be-All-End-All for disabling mechanical devices :3

Hey, Eos was always immune to EMP. You can search her CSs around the guild and see. It's not like she would be dumb enough to build machines with such an obvious weak point. That's what I'm finding more fun here.

Magical machine disabling attacks are another whole ball game, though, since they aren't technically just EMPs, but very much probably mixed with some demonic energies to make it work against Machina.
Arturia knows who Diarmuid and Cuchulain are, and they her, even though that should technically be impossible. It is information that the grail has given her directly similar to how she knows modern language and most customs.

And here was I being a fool all this time and thinking that it was because King Arthur was a literate person (given that he was a noble) that had a Celtic Druid older than dirt as teacher and thereby was bound to know, y'kow? Legends from the very archipelago she was born in...

Because it's not like Ireland is so very far from Corwall and the rest of the Brittish islands.

Well, such is life. You always learn new things everyday.
@KoL I agree, I think its more likely for spirits such as Mordred and Sinfjotli to be at odds with one another. I dont think it would be seen as in insult per say, but more as something like confronting your own clone who wants to replace you. Or like a brother who is threatening your inheritance.

Oh boy! For his own safety don't mention clones, or any family for that matter, close to Mordred, this is bound to not go well under any circumstances.

Now that I think about it, what Mordred would think when watching Railgun S for the first time? I bet the angst would be too strong to look at.
@floodtalon

There is a boatload of stuff that goes with that question, the simple answer is no, just to avoid getting into a physics discussion. Simply put the Nexus is a giant mass of chaotic matter and an energy floating outside of any known space and time and yet among them all, kinda like a family sized Schrodinger's Cat experiment made by @TheWindel an insane mind.

Going into further detail would be losing one's time.
Actually, I think it could even be seen as somewhat of an insult. Given that pride is serious business to almost all Heroic Spirits, having your role in your story (since for them it's not a legend but their very lives) compared to someone else just like this, ad of they were just tales, can be seen as an offense.

Camaraderie between HSs that share similar stories is not unheard of, but even then no one would say: "Hey, lasts be brothers in arms because I your analogous on another legend."
I'll look into this later. I just dropped by because I heard the call of lies the Press.
@KoL but popsicle dildo rainbow whipsword is best weapon.

man extella is wild.

At least it can get you off in more ways than one.

Also, damn, I want to play that game so bad...
@Beloss

If you dig deep enough, all myths end up getting related. That's the whole basis for Typemoon's rendition of Gil, after all. For example how Atilla's sword actually was inspired on Charlemagne's Joyeuse (never mind that FGO turned it into a circus aberration, though).
@ShadowKingman: Ah... Yeah, if you wish, that's an option.
Need to find an IC reason for Medea to Rule Breaker EMIYA, though.

She got fed up with his snarky nature.

Also the way things are going, Medea really is gonna have all the Servants under her feet in no time. I wanna see how that will be.

By the way, I hope you don't mind that I wait Lone before posting again, I don't want to do a separate post for Seyrun and Atalanta if I can avoid it.
