@NightmareInd

I'll look at your character later. College and work are keeping me bound until at least tonight.

@NightmareInd I like the second one. In his apathy he'd take his sweet time to deal with stuff, but one day disaster struck and in his slothfulness he was too late to solve a problem he could have fixed. Also if Speed is your thing, The Scarlet Harley's are the guild of speed. Though I would also suggest the Fanged Rangers or Ivory Masks since we'll be needing a few named players fighting the Strykers.

That should be no problem at all, after all, the Harleys will be helping the Rangers, which in turn will be helping the Masks. So, Kick Shot being of any of these three won't matter, in the end, he'll be working for Chiyo.

If I don't become a sex-slave, can I use the bottle of Absinthe Blue I may-or-may-not-get as a weapon for that purpose.

For sure, it would actually be very interesting. If you can find a @Lonewolf685 random eel somewhere and promise to do an eel flambΓ©, Absinthe might even not have to pop Bonesword's knee caps.
@Shoryu Magami

Well, I have been out of home most of the day thanks to school and work, so I couldn't place my opinions yet. I hope it doesn't make it look like I'm not engaged with this idea, since I've been keeping tabs of it as closely as I can. In fact, I'm even working on a CS with the fields you provided and planning for those that might come later.

Anyway, here go my two cents. I won't elaborate on Age, since you already reached a conclusion and, frankly, it would really feel redundant, given that we are providing birth dates, already. As for the question about an "Also known as" section, I think it's good to have, if only because most people will have at least a moniker to which they may be called and, say, in case of a transgender character, they may not use their birth name at all unless demanded by law.

Info like sign (Western or Chinese), blood type, etc might not be very important as well, though I like a bit of trivia such as this, it eventually turns a CS into something unhandy to write if you start adding categories. But this brought to me a few questions. What about family relationships, social status/class, potentially, sexual orientation (I'm not very fond of this, but I figure some may be), and other odd information. Do you have any plans to add them? Or can we provide extra bits we think on, maybe on an extra info/trivia section on the CS? By this very way of thought, wat could be public or not, since most of this info is not very 100% private on the days of today anymore and some might even be celebrities onto themselves, so people naturally could know more about their characters. One last bit, maybe, a short description/concept of the character could be a good thing to make public, so that people can get what the idea behind your character is in a brief synopsis, without the need to actively know any info that might be private/secret? Something like:

"Ana is a very cheery young woman, who's working hard on achieving her degree, after getting on a top notch college through scholarship. She likes books and is very fond of long discussions on her favorite genre, horror, and author, Stephen King. Despite her seeming naivete, Anna's smile hides the practiced lore of one used to working hard for long hours in the Indian farmstead where she was raised along with seven other siblings by a couple of loving parents."

I think this gives a good base for other players to interact, instead of a plain black box, without giving too much as well.

Since you already relied to Pudding's question regarding stylization of the CS models, I'll not ask about that as well. I'll say that my public CS will not be heavily tweaked, just a bit of color to make it better readable/more visually pleasant.

I guess this is all I had for the time being.

By the way, would you like to take an advanced look on the CS's public part that you provided here or on a PM? Or should we wait until more is added, and just keep working on our characters? Because I have a very interesting/solid concept in mind at this moment and would like your opinion once I can actually get past the initial draft, sometime up to this Wednesday~Thursday.

Either way, I think I said too much already. Let's leave it at this. I wait fr the reply.

PS:

I forgot to add, what about spoken/known languages? This is a fairly important affair for a real world RP, after all.

Name: Olivia Ascott Ferris.
Also Known As: Livy.
Birth Date: August 08th, 1988.
Place of Origin: Truro, Cornwall, England.
Ethnicity: British (Cornish).
Gender: Female.
Height: 173 cm / 5'8".
Weight: 63 kg / 138.9 lbs.
Laterality: Left handed.
Occupation: Primary School Teacher (Sciences), also working on a doctorate in Astrophysics regarding the mechanisms and rate of star births on gas rich nebulae.
Marital Status: Single.

Appearance:

Just the girl in the wheel chair. I just can't get a single an image of the two apart that suits the "feel" I'm aiming for and editing them to exclude the other one would make the images pointless because it would excluded said "feel" as well.
@NightmareInd

I have to say that I actually think that the feats aren't worth the hassle. I think that they are outdated parts of the RP that have little impact on the story (except for Icarus Attack, which is awesome in its fullness, and the ones that grant spells to the mage classes) basically, if you put your efforts on making your character too good with passive skills, people will likely complain or question why you are better than them even when they don't see that you went your if your easy to spend resources on passive bonuses.

That said, what about a skill that grants a feat on the level of acquisition and then let you freely choose between warrior and rogue feats from there on? It seems like a good middle ground for you.
@KoLI think I still need someone else to post before I can post again

Actually, I'd like for you to wait until my next post, so that I can disclose what your character found out with his divination , in a proper way.
@Shoryu Magami

Gossik is one of the best mystery anime ever, which includes a quite detailed intro story that's pretty much identical in plot (differing in set up and most likely execution, given that a RP can't work like a novel all the time) to the premise of this story. The other story is actually the first detective story in the world, by Poe. Both are really good works.

Either way, you don't need to expand on the issue with me at the time. I pretty much expected supernatural powers to be the answer, given that their existence is left as a basic possibly.

I'll be looking for this in the future. Oh, by the way, Thania for the welcome.
What a happy coincidence a proposal such as that come up just right after I finished Gossick a month or so ago and just (re)read The Murders of Rue Morgue. Either way, I'm inspired for a detective /mystery RP for ages and will be glad to take part, should you accept me once this idea takes flight.

Either way, I do have a question.

Since this story is basically a locked room mystery set on the modern times, how will you handle the potential game breaking interference that communication devices (cell phones, etc) can create?
@KoL
Jokes on you, it'll only make Bonesword have a wet shirt.

Edit: don't hurt me senpai

I don't know if you noticed, but that wasn't exactly a normal drink. It'll do a bit more than just wet him, believe me.
No problems, everyone. Also, not that I'm trying to pressure anyone, but if no one else does anything until Wednesday~Thursday, I'll be posting again. Just leaving this here as a small note.
