@TheWindel And even in the middle of world war trench warfare, everybody can celebrate Christmas.

Pff...

Don't let KoL catch you saying that.

@KoL
Are you trying to take Syphax out of the next battle? Because right now you're taking him out of the next battle.
He still gon be in it

Hoho~ If he falls for that Absinthe, I assure you he's in for a good one.

@KoL
Are you trying to give the swordsman a bonejob?

Edit: Even if you aren't, I laughed a bit.

You don't even imagine, you don't even imagine... What I said above applies to him as well, by the way. He'll never want another drink, after that one.

Either way, I assure you that nothing lewd is involved... this time, even if Absinthe technically is a succubus.
@NightmareInd

I'll look at your CS later. I just day that I'd rather like that you didn't joined neither the Blue, not the Black guilds. They have enough players on them already. Please join one of those with less players, to even things a bit, if possible.

Personally, I'd say that Red is the easy to go, since they only have one PC and two NPCs on their roster ay the moment.

Ultimately, it's your choice but please, consider it carefully. And don't be a Sweeper, please, we have way too many of them. If those keep on piling up, the RP will feel too monotonous.
Hey there! I saw that this RP was still running and I wondered if I could (re-)join. You see, I used to be part of this RP for a short time in the beginning (like a year ago) but had to drop out because of IRL stuff. If possible I want to rejoin now with a new character.

You are more than welcome to do so.
Absinthe Blue
Current Location: A very peculiar bar in the middle of nowhere

"Right away, mister, right away!" Bonesword would be answered by a very... peculiar bartender that just happened to attend to clients on this most prestigious establishment. The impish looking being, known by the very appropriate moniker of Absinthe Blue handed him his alcoholic concoction with a sweep of her tail, before reclining over the counter, practically trusting her impish features on his skull.

"May I ask you what brings a gentleman such as you to this establishment? Surely, you must have heard of our fame. Or perhaps, you're just looking for a place to rest your bones?" Sadly, her humorous penchant didn't quite caught up to her mixing skills, it seemed.

"Could I suggest our houses special? The first bottle is on our tab, y'know?" The bartender pulled a bottle of the same drink all other patrons seemed to be partaking in happily, a glowy, blue spirit that seemed to pull one's eyes to it, whispering sweet melodies of inebriation in the eternal early evening with which the zone where the bat was located in was bathed.

Every now and then, one of the patrons went to pass through a mysterious door in the side of the counter and would not really come back at least for the time Bonesword had been in there. Was it the restrooms entry, or perhaps, a far more... hot place? One thing was certain though, whatever happened there, it was probably too good to give up.

"War. War never changes..." Or maybe, it does. However in a world such as the Nexus, build around it, living and breathing of nothing but conflict, there can be only so much change before one goes back to the basics. After all, history's a carousel, no matter how long you ride it, one time you always come back to ground zero.

Such is the nature of this battle, there shall be no conflicts for resources, no quests for glory, or points to capture. Just war in its most pure and unbridled form...

I N T R O
Having overcome the trials demanded by the Infamous Alchemist of Genesis, despite the great hardships and traps laid on their way, the former Triumvirate found itself once more at at a state of ease.

War was still raging all through the Nexus, of course, but the main representatives of each faction could rest for sometime, after becoming the playthings of the narcissistic genius who — perhaps — had a little too much power in her hands.

That wouldn't last, for, soon enough, another missive would reach the hands of the leaders of the three realms:

"The mystic lands have risen once again from amidst the primordial chaos. It's time to test the mettle of your best, for this time only TOTAL WAR will grant you victory.

Neither accept, nor give any quarter— as long as the blood of your foes is still running within their veins, there shall be no end to the oncoming strife."

O B J E C T I V E
Kill or capture all the opposing forces on the battlefield. No other condition shall grant the victory to any side. Only the last man standing shall savor the spoils of this conflict.

I'm just kinda waiting for Fid's reply before I go again. I don't want to rush things over here, but if it takes longer than next Wednesday~Thursday, I may post on my own anyway.
God's Shattering

"So... that's it..." Yggdrasil walked down the same corridor he came from, picking his tome on the way, and entered the elevator which was the fastest access to this point in the tower. He had perfect knowledge of all that happened inside his base of operations and, no matter where Meihou's final destination was, he would get there, if not first, at least about the same time.

Even without the Relic powering his might, Yggdrasil would still prove to be a formidable —but not unbeatable— foe. Maybe, if Titania happened to meet with her companion, it was possible for them to take him down? One could only hope so.

"Uh!? What's th-" Eleonor was taken by surprise when the very waters that carried the filth and rot of the Imperium's crown jewel attacked her. Without time to react, she was dragged away and encased in the blob of jelly-like sludge. If that wasn't bad enough, the being's acidic fluids began to slowly corrode Eleonor's vestments, while unwittingly helping to stanch the bleeding by burning her wounds. A blessing born of a curse, perhaps? Well, no matter what Eleonor was powerless to detain her fate, given that her attackers, lack both blood to be manipulated and substance to be cut. The only thing she could hope for is that the others could save her, before the worse came into being.

"Ghh... what did- Sis! Sis!" Linea was the first of the Twins to regain consciousness and, just after doing so, she noticed Siena, uncoscious beside her. Ignoring, or if need be, fighting, the grip of Tori's cloak, the Youngest of the Aquarian twins, approached her sister frantically, ignoring everything else around her. Linea hesitated in touching Siena for a moment, fearing that she could trigger, or worsen, any unseen wounds. It wasn't until her sister coughed hard and groaned in pain as well that Linea pounced on her, hugging Siena while crying profusely, of relief.

"Li-Linea? What happened?"

"I-I don't know, Sis! One moment we were escaping with Alex and Tori and then... the cathedral... fire... and everything turned black. I... I..."

"There... there, Linea. Everything is fine now we are... argh!" Neither of the Twins had noticed until Siena felt a sharp sting of pain run through her, and her whole body surge with a strange power but The eldest Aquarian had changed a lot thanks to Nebula's intervention. A power that Siena never had before coursed through her body.

Even so, Linea and Siena were largely unaware of their surroundings. At least until the hubbub with the slime dragging Asgard away, which made them turn to the tunnel behind them. "Hey, Tori!? You are there? What happened and who are these people? I swear I heard the voice of Lady Asgard a moment ago... By the way, where is Alex? I just remembered him running away in another direction on the last minute. Did he betray us and left us for dead, after all we did to help him? That... that rat, all he wanted was t steal the Relic, wasn't it?" Siena tightened her previously destroyed hand in a fist, while baring her teeth.

That coward. How could Alex just abandon them like that after they not only gave him a job but also saved his life and helped him to the best of their skills? Just the thought of it made Siena's feel like throwing up with disgust. But, that was a concern for later. Now, they had to get out of this place, finding the Blue Relic again could be left for later.

Back on Rivenwood, the good news brought by Fei's sudden recovery —assisted by Si's magic— were soon going to be rendered less important in face of the most recent developments that ensued in the fight between the native fey and Tegonay's warband.

Thud!

With a dry and sharp sound, like the strings of a grand piano snapping, came the proclamation of the end of the fight, as the black knight finally claimed the life of his foe, with a decapitation swing, after long minutes tiring out the fey prince in a war of attrition. With the death of their leader, and the surge of inspiration brought by the Yellow Relic's golden shine, the remainder of the fey forces began to retreat to the depths of the woods, while under heavy fire from Tegonay's men.

It was not a battle anymore, but merely, a one-sided slaughter. Genocide.

If Jessi, Fey and Chen planned to intervene directly, somehow, there was no time better than now. The Black Knight was left standing alone and unguarded, moving to retrieve the Relic. Once he did, God knows how powerful he would become?

Lastly, but not least, came the intense confrontation between one Jester of the Court and a humble —but not really so humble— cat fairy, very much likely, the last of her kind in the present world. Both of them knowing full well the true secret of Si's real identity as the one and only Librarian, it was of no use to the cat girl to try and fake it. Not before him.

"This world... is not your science project, guh! If you want to... put us through hardship... you can... expect that we will fight back, guh!" Came Si's reply, it had a particularly inflamed tone that, while noticeable by few, laid bare Si's true motivation for her millennia long struggle.

"Just because... you have ultimate power... doesn't mean that... you can... use people in your devices... like pieces in a chess game, guh!"

I posted for Diana as well, to let Hibiki go back home. Now things are really concluded.

Diana
Current Location: Alt Signia, The Forge

"So... we can break them but, they can't explode themselves? Is that even possible?" Diana questioned the logic behind Hibiki's statement. "Don't you guys put bombs even on your toasters?" Diana knew very well how the Machina were bomb maniacs, after that time when she tried to copy some documents during an infiltration just to have the bloody copy machine blast her face, followed by the very papers exploding too!

"The Machina really take 'blowing their load' seriously. Maybe that's one of their Queen's kinks? Hehe- What the!?" Being distracted as she was with dirty thoughts and jokes, she failed totally at noticing when Hibiki engaged the Killa Kans, up to the point where the Maid was almost killed and one of the Kans turned to Diana, spewing hot lead at the dragon girl. "Heh! You think that's enough to take me, when we are in a place such as this one?"

Diana jumped backwards, drawing a long breath. When she landed, she made a point of remembering the Machina, what happened on the Elicitor. "Ghhh!!!" Came out Diana's breath attack, a straight line of plasma, far hotter than the lava running behind the tunnel. What was left of the Killa Kans was a few puddles of goopy metal, the rest, including their main hulls and any bombs was destroyed in a flash by the several thousand degrees hot, electrically charged gas.

"Y'know what? It would be so very easy to capture you to make up for that time on the Elicitor but, I'll let it slip this time." Diana said after helping Hibiki back to a sitting position, against one of the charred stone walls. "And, if I wanted to kill you, all I needed to do was take the mantle's protection away when I did my breath attack. Just call one of your allies and get out while I can turn a blind eye to it." Diana lifted Hibiki's chin and tuned the maid's face to take a profile look, using her tail, before letting it go and turning to the inner core. "But, I bet that my Mistress would reward me if I took someone such as you to her. Maybe, I should do that next time, when we are not in a truce?"

With that said, Diana left, to do what she was supposed to, now that this battle was pretty effectively over.
