Like I said before, I take anything from Alt Signia with a huge grain of salt, given how irregular that battle was. That said, I can see your point as I said above and, especially for Juno, she tends to pull her punches not only to get a better fight but to avoid total destruction of the world around her.

This is why I disliked that idea of invading Celestia so much, because Iona usually doesn't go ready on people, especially those who break the law. Any attempt at fighting her would cause a world of headaches for me just from complaints about her OP nature.

It's all a matter of circumstances and what is better for everyone. Especially when a challenge is supposed to be too big to overcome.
@KoL
I like this system, though I feel like the alternating 2s and 3s for gains should flow based on level. For example, earning 3 points on every level up until Lv7, then 2 points from there.

My proof is competative Metas, like Pokemon. It's faster early growth that encourages people to push further and further, and the slower late-game growths that make people stay for the grind to reach new heights.
Also I'd love to see a Strength/Agility/Magic scale built into WotT, probably based on 20. 20 being god-tier (Ex. Ni-Mu's Agility), 10 being average (Ex. Ghelgath's Agility), and 1 being piss-poor (Ex. Torag's Agility). It could help settle disputes and give a base for ranking.

Thanks, I can see your point though I'm kinda like averse to the idea of grinding at least on non electronic RPGs. I found that something that has a more constant flow of rewards is more stimulating for both players and GMs. That is the main difference between this RP and DGO/Shattering, for example. And the main reason why Wo3 feels more lively than its counterparts.

This other RP that I'm planning is to be a balanced middle ground between these concepts, which is why I thought of adopting such a progression. If that makes sense for you.

I'll be sincere, I thought of doing your other suggestion just for fun more than once. Maybe I'll give out a shot later in the weekend. That said, I would use a different scale, because characters like Juno would break the one you mentioned by a lot. For example, let's suppose that Zeruel, Graf and Balrog all have 20 POW, which seems fitting for their status as the toughest cookies in the jar. In this case Juno on her Normal state would have around 25, and Iona around... 35, maybe? As you can see, even when not going all, cha they already break the scale.

On that system:

What happens when your special technique is to boost your speed (like Ni-Mu) or strength (like Artoria)? How do you balance around that?

~~

I feel like a level system like you have would work really really poorly in WotT with just how bizarrely people's power level fluctuates depending on the needs of the story.

For example. Ira vs Alexi: We've established Ira's about 800 to 900 times stronger and faster than Alexi, for her to slightly lose out to Alexi in power and speed when Alexi is multiplying her power and speed by 1000. Then, turn around, and Ira only slightly outspeeds Syphax. Is Syphax 600-700 times faster than Alexi? Yet, earlier, Ira was able to move faster than Henry's eye could follow, and previously Henry was the fastest demonic character. Is Syphax also able to outspeed the entire early Demon crew to the point they can't even see him?

Obviously no.

Whenever we have an actual fight show up, the character who is faster is only slightly faster. The character with a tougher defense is only slightly tougher (Hi Zerry). So on, so forth. Everyone always gets blurred towards the same point so the fight is more fun to watch instead of. "I have more defense than you can possibly ever break. I will stand here and shoot laser beams out of my eyes, but you have more agility than I could ever match and will dodge forever."

You are confusing Techique, which would be like the skill with which you use your abilities with Features with are the abilities themselves. A feature that increases an attribute permanently isn't very good of a choice since it would be limited to two points at a time anyway. A spell the buffs you temporarily but can't be repeated forever, like Ni-Mu's Inate Time Control is more effective, but obviously too Pop for the scope of what I'm plotting.

As for your second point, I don't think so much like that. For example, if Juno fight against someone like Alexi she may have got damaged (much less than Ira, since Juno is a tank), but against Gelgath or Hibiki, it wouldn't even be a fight. There's a point when you have to take. The differences between characters into account in a more serious way, I mean.

This is the whole reason why I scraped a character I really love (I have the CS yet, just won't use her here), for being too weak for Wo3, and also why Emilia hasn't joined this RP yet. She's in development, but a version of her worthy of this would have to be much more powerful, likely after learning her mother's aka Hoho's secrets, which is a version of Emilia that I haven't planned yet.

Either way, the point is, balance is good only when both parts she that it's fun. Even then there's a limit where it gets ridiculous. After all, who the heck her wants to lose to Frog?
This is not for this RP, but I just finished the first draft of something I was planning for a month or so and would like some opinions on it:

Also, some more teasing for what project this will be used on is never a bad thing. It shall be revealed soon, but for the time, anyone who feel like it is free to comment.

Note: This system is very much based on ACCEL World and was planned for a DGO, for those who know what it even is, Rules overhaul (that will never be coming, because it would be a bother to change at this point). Since the idea was just too good, I preserved and updated it to use in an upcoming RP. The comments will make it become better, which in turn will make the time of anyone who ever joins better as well.
Windelverse Notes - The Siblings:

The Siblings are the progenitors of everything.

Created as 3 children from the Absolute and crafting life into the cosmos.
Yet when their Almighty Father left them, they tore themselves apart through in-fighting and civil war.

Case in point, the three Siblings live on in the present day through three individuals: Kiara, Giltwith, and Lucas.
Making Juno, Roma, and Lux very special Vassals.

The reason they turned on each other was because they had very different ideas on how to bring back their Almighty Father back.

The Elder Brother thought that chaos and destruction would attract their Father's attention.

The Younger Brother believed it was through forcefully enacting peace to gain their Father's approval.

The Sister believed it was through unity that they would bring their Father back.

As you can see, this clash of ideologies has set them against each other. And for eons the three have been reincarnated as Paradoxums. Always fighting.

The most recent being Kiara, Giltwith, and Lucas.

However. The three reincarnations before Kiara, Giltwith, and Lucas were of the Victorian era. Or something.

They each had a maid.

The Elder Brother's maid would reincarnate as Juno.

The Younger Brother's maid would reincarnate as Lux.

And the Sister's maid would become Roma.

Although Juno herself obviously didn't serve the last Elder Brother, her personality was present in his maid.

The same for Roma and Lux.

As the Original Siblings fought, the Sister attempted to stop her Brothers. What resulted were the two killing her and shattering her. Literally.

Hence Kiara.

And for each cycle, history would repeat.

Their conflict has spanned all of time and space, indirectly causing everything.

Especially the Jester.

The Elder Brother, believing in Chaos, was unhinged and axe crazy.

The Younger Brother was no better, believing a dystopian utopia to keep people in check was ideal.

The Sister, much like Kiara, just wanted people to get along.

However, it was the Jester who began to break the cycle of the Sibling's Feud.

ERIS REINHARDT & YOSHINO TSUGUMI

Current Location: Murasaki City's General Hospital

Eris' initial reaction upon entering Yoshino's room was to smile softly as she glanced at the current state of Purple Crown's Student President. "She looks so... fragile. I didn't think what happened with her was this serious," she thought. "Then again, who am I to think anything? Pity doesn't help anyone, you know that very well, Eris Reinhardt," Eris shook her head lightly, to get rid of contradictory thoughts, before making her way to the chair beside Yoshino's bed.

"Excuse me," the platinum-haired girl said, before sitting. Once Eris had fixed her skirt and rested the gifts she brought over her lap, she finally turned to Yoshino. All of it took just a few seconds, but the heavy aura which hospitals seem to have made it feel like a small eternity.

After that brief pause, Eris finally said, "I came to see you because I was worried. Simple as that." After replying to Yoshino's question, Eris picked an apple and began to partially slice it. The platinum-haired girl looked quite dexterous while handling the prized fruit, a proof that the skills she learned for the festival still remained with her. "Would you like some? I know these are not the crepes I promised, but I guarantee they are better than any hospital food," Eris said, as she finished turning one apple in a small plate of cute looking treats.

Yoshino remained silent even as Eris carved her apples. There was no point in pretending this was a fun situation. "There's no reason to be worried about me. I'm fine," she said simply. Unfortunately she neither had the physical capacity to shoo Eris away nor was she in the mood to verbally do so. That meant the other girl would probably remain here for some time. More gloomy than usual, Yoshino moved her gaze to stare at the apple bowl.

"That may be it," Eris replied before stabbing one of the apple bunnies with a fork. "Still, that doesn't forbid someone who cares for you from being worried, does it? Here, let me help you," the platinum-haired girl said, still trying to sound as positive as possible, while presenting the fruit slice to Yoshino, clearly intent on feeding the Student President, if she allowed it, of course.

Yoshino would once more stare at the fruit, not able to think of a retort to that line of logic. So with a slow frown, she shrugged before motioning for Eris to do what she wanted. She didn't feel hungry at the moment but what did she know? It wasn't like she was starving and quite frankly she thought she could go without food for a little while longer. The bubbling sensation in her gut could have signified hunger but she wasn't sure. The apple slices would probably decide that for her. "Is there anything else you needed?"

"Well, to say the truth, there was an issue I wanted to talk about, but that's not important," Eris said, genuinely glad that Yoshino didn't turn her away as she fed another apple slice to the other girl. "I think that, in the end, I just wanted to continue that conversation from the other day. Thinking about it, that was a coincidence, right? On that day we talk while you were on your way here and I gave you a ride, and now we are here."

"I don't believe in fate, but I can see why circumstances like these cause other people to," Eris said, somewhat pensively, before asking, "Say, do you remember what we were talking about on that day, Yoshino— sorry, for being so informal with asking first." Eris apologized after slipping up, correcting herself shortly after. "I mean, do you remember it, Yoshino Tsugumi?"

"Yes, real ironic this all is," Yoshino said, holding back the urge to roll her eyes. If Eris was going to point out the obivous, she would just tune her out because she didn't need to be reminded about her current predicament. Being strangled by one's best friend was hardly comforting either and she had no idea where Retsu even was right now. Forced out of those thoughts by Eris, Yoshino gave the other girl a blank stare. "No...I don't really remember what we were talking about. Apparently it was something important if you're bringing it up to me now," she said, dipping forward to chew more at the apples.

"Hmm, I don't know if I would call it important, as in a real sense of importance," Eris replied to Yoshino's question, noticing that she somehow were slipping further away from the Student President. Really, that girl had a shell probably as thick as Eris old one around her. "Cracking it will likely leave many unhealed scars, I know that. The best thing I can do is find a a way for her to get out on her own", she thought.

"Let me see if this will make more sense for you," Eris said, deciding to not use many roundabout ways to talk to Yoshino, not if she wanted to really find a way to get the other girl's attention. "At that time we were talking about simple life issues and I felt that... there was something the two of us had in common. I wondered what would be if all this attrition between us didn't exist? Maybe... we could have been friends? I don't know how to explain it really," the transfer student's words sounded a lot more sincere now that she said what was really in her mind. She made a brief pause to let Yoshino get the meaning of her words before adding, "That's why, when I learned about what happened to you, I had to come here. I— I guess that I just wanted to talk to you once more and see if my impression from the other day was wrong or not." For a moment, Eris' fear of being rejected almost made her clench her stomach, to avoid throwing up her lunch, but the platinum-haired girl grit her teeth, and stared away from Yoshino, trying trying to disguise her won weakness that put Eris on the verge of leaving the room on tears.

Something in the way Eris was speaking made Yoshino clench up herself. Suddenly she felt extremely uncomfortable being near the other girl; or maybe she was just unused to having confessions like this. Honestly, she didn't know what to think of Eris aside from that she wasn't one of the people that probably hated her for one reason or another. Perhaps that was why Yoshino slowly turned to the other girl and listened in silence. "Well...you've definitely made friends with my relatives," she said simply, knowing full well Eris was Chiyo's lap dog. Suddenly the same surge of paranoia and fear began to sweep her and she unconsciously backed away from Eris. Who was to say Chiyo, in her sick little mind, hadn't sent Eris here to do something?

"I don't know what happened between the two of you," Eris said, still not looking at Yoshino as she continued, "And maybe, I don't want to. After all, I can't imagine anything so bad that would make me hate my sister like the two of you dislike one another. Everyone has their own history, I can't really judge any of you two." For a moment Eris sounded really serious. Yeah, this may not settle well with her, but she wasn't in a position where she could say anything regarding it. If their own mother supported this sisterly infighting, who was Eris to think that she knew better?

Even so, there was a thing that Eris was certain of. "But, that doesn't matter, does it? It's not because I chose to help Chiyo that it means that I must be your enemy. If it comes down to it, we may have to fight... no, I want us to fight," The platinum-haired girl's voice suddenly got filled with resolve —or was it excitement? When she continued to speak she was facing Yoshino's direction again, with a challenging smile in her face. "Yes, I want that, but not here. I want to face you what you are hiding from the whole world. I want to fight the true Yoshino Tsugumi, but I don't want ,or need, to hate you for that. Then I can show you that, even though I'm Chiyo's ally, that promise I did to be your knight, still hasn't been broken." Eris concluded her statement full of confidence. There was no way Yoshino couldn't know what she was talking about and, as Eris knew too well, the best place for two people to settle their differences is the battlefield.

It was hard not to have her heart racing when Eris spoke with this much conviction, as if her enegry alone was addictive and a drug of some kind. Almost like medicine. Yoshino stared at her lap, head reeling and not sure how to respond. "If that's true...why do you follow her then? Why do you approve of the violence she commits and acts she's done? Why don't you stand against her?" Yoshino sighed; there was something else bothering her but didn't know how best to proceed with that issue given Eris' presence here. "Furthermore, you don't need to be my knight. I'm no King Eris. I'm just a girl who thought she knew what was doing and ended up getting hurt because of it. That's all I am."

Yoshino's reply weighed heavily on Eris's mind. Wasn't she like this even a few days ago? If things went a different way, she could be the one on that bed right now, but... would there be anyone here for her? "Well, maybe Cassandra, and certainly Eins, but... would any of them understand what's to be on the place Yoshino was now?" Likely no, but Eris did, because she had been there before and she knew how bad it was.

Almost instinctively, Eris clasped Yoshino's hands within hers, feeling how cold and weak they were, before meeting the other girl's blue eyes with her red ones. "I have my reasons to do what I do, just like you have yours, Yoshino," this time Eris spoke Yoshino's name without hesitation, carrying on without correcting herself, "It may be true that sometimes things we don't want to will happen, but the you that I looked up to, the one I wanted to fight and be allies with wouldn't be defeated so easily. I'll still stand by Chiyo's side, you may not know, or understand, it, but she needs someone she can trust beside her to protect her not only from everything else, but from herself as well. Nevertheless, I want to be with you as well, the promise I made wasn't in vain, but... I cannot do so if you don't find it within yourself to, once more, become the person I admire."

The Student President didn't know why Eris was going out of her way to just to make her feel better. The only people she had known would do such things were either missing or had tried to murder her. Still, the familiar sensaiton and warmth of having Bel or Retsu around...was being replicated right here and now. Yoshino sighed yet again, the instinct to look away from Eris' stare into her eyes very much present and tensing her muscles. But just this once she forced herself to look into the other girl's eyes. "I...guess you're right," she said with a very small smile. It was miniscule, but it was there all the same.

"Indeed, I guess so," Eris replied to Yoshino, letting the other girl go, before turning to the remainder of the apple slices. "Now, how about you have some more of these before they go bad?" the platinum-haired student picked another treat and was about to feed it to Yoshino when the door opened slowly, revealing Aaron on the other side of it. Apparently, Eris hadn't locked it fully, which allowed the soaked American transferee to get a privileged glimpse of the two girls quite intimate looking moment. At least they had finished talking about any compromising issues before he arrived. What would he think of this sight was another issue, though.

My intention was just to get them to talk to one another, nothing out of the ordinary that requires any setup or anything like this.
<Snipped quote by floodtalon>

Well if she does, it will prove to Ghelgath how cowardly and weak Ira is though anyways :P Again, he doesn't mind getting his ass beat right now. He's going full-joker now on Ira. So... he wins basically if he gets his ass handed to him.

You forgot that no one on that room gives a damn to hours point. I mean, they are Demons, how the heck did he get the idea of trying to be morally superior to anyone there?
If you really wanna know, I can discuss some of it since I am free now.

Juno by herself isn't so much of a pervert, she pretty much only has hots (or is it colds?) for a certain wandering swordsman with a chronic case of harem MC syndrome, much to the dismay of his supposed canon OTP. The problem is that, according to @TheWindel half of the multiverse wants to rape the poor snake in some shape or form.

As long as you keep Diana away from her dear mistress, she'll only have eyes for Bastion. If you add Victoire into the mix, things get complicated. The only thing worse is of both Bastion and Victoire are on out at the same time. Depraved dragon girl is really depraved. Also, avoid hellhounds and plant monsters, at all costs.

Iona doesn't smut, period. Unless out has to do with a certain Dr. Epsilon. This can change if it's her young/alternative self, though.

Victoire would take anything that strikes her fancy to bed regardless of the other party's opinion on it. That said, she has her favorites, a list that is always prone to expansion. Her acceptance changes quite a lot when she's on the receiving end.

Ni-Mu doesn't have the personality to lewd things. Even if she tried it wouldn't be more interactive than doing it with a doll.

I'll think ok the other characters later can't come up with anything now.
