Wait I just remembered something that'll link Chiyo's family to bank account freezing.

PS: Just mind one thing. Because this has to do with the World Interface itself, the authorities won't do a thing since, for them the system is normal.

The only thing the authorities would see is that your account balance is at zero. Tons of bureaucracy would also be in the way of them doing anything since the legal system itself depends upon the Interface to work.

To sum it up, if you don't solve your problems, don't expect the NPCs to do it for you. And, just wait for the next set of actions to come by...
I mean, the stakes weren't high enough for most people, since there was a generalized apathy for the plot going around this RP because "DGO is just a game" or people that thought that they could endure the crisis and then begin again from zero since they were young and had "time to catch up later".

What to do when the stakes are too low? You raise them, by hitting were it hurts. And, ever since men has been men, there's nothing that hurts more than hitting one's coffers.

It's a psychological game and physical violence is the worst tool to use when you want an emotional reply.

Like I said, there's more than just blocking people's money to come. Certain characters will learn that DGO is not just another game, want they or not.
PS: And Eris' family runs the private security / army in the world, don't forget that, since Eris' mom works for Boss.
@KoL

...You know that Aaron and Eris have met several times in the past, right? There was that weird scene at the food court, that time they all got pinged with an address to visit Erika, that edgy time where he decided he'd try to claim the bounty on her while she was an Outlaw.

Point is, unless she got amnesia, they'd resonate since they had a sort of frenemy thing going on.

EDIT: Also the bank account thing is gonna get a lot of cops involved. Like, a lot, cause an international crisis since Purple Crown is the new cultural melting pot. Japan, America, and the UK are gonna get involved at the minimum. Private Sec can only hide so much if something that big happens.

She didn't have amnesia but I did. I guess I'll edit that part later. Hehe.

As for the bank issue... Chiyo's mom runs an international crime syndicate and she has the very computer that control literally all the data in the world on her side. How is it that she can't get away with it, again?
PS: When she meant that some of the attacks week be non violent, the first thing most of your characters will notice is your access to digital money has been cut unless your characters are on the Green poor White Guilds poor are a King.

So, have a nice day living in the future with blocked bank accounts and credit cards.

There's more, but these are little surprises that you'll find about bit by bit.
By the way, just to make it clear, the reason for Eris' reaction is twofold. What Aaron told her it's pretty much the opposite of what Eris was asking Yoshino. She wants help to put some reason on Chiyo's head, not to put her down.

Second, he touched her clothes with a wet hand (since, which is something that Eris doesn't like at all.

ERIS REINHARDT

"I'm sorry. You are misunderstanding something," Eris said to Aaron, with a gaze as resolute her ever back into her eyes. "I came here to ask Yoshino's help because I know that she's the only one that can help Chiyo. But I have no intention of betraying her. Chiyo is my Master, no matter the path she chooses. I'll not let she do anything too harsh, but if you dare try to harm her, you'll have to deal with me first."

"In fact, as Chiyo's Chief Retainer, I believe it's not right for me to remain here now that this became a discussion of your tactics. I'm glad that I could talk to you once more, Yoshino. However, if you excuse me," Eris said as got back to her feet and began to leave the room, giving little mind for either Aaron or Thomas. However, she turned once she reached the door and said, "Be aware of something. When I said that Chiyo plans to attack people out of Deep Ground, I didn't mean that all of those attacks will be of the physical sort."

ABSINTHE BLUE

It seemed that the trail followed by both Yuuno and Maribel ran cold before they could do anything about it. Retsu Goroshi pretty much disappeared of the face of the Earth. There was nothing to do about it, thus Yuuno took the only action she could at the present moment, that's log into Deep Ground and try to settle the score with the Ivory Masks.

However... "Why, in the name of Titana-sama, there's no one doing anything until now?" Absinthe said to herself as she hovered over the cliffs that overlooked their captured Blue City. "Don't say to me that everyone else lost faith in our Guild or turned coats?" Absinthe's voice made it clear that she was none too pleased with the state of disarray to which the Bruisers fell while she was worried with Maribel and Shino.

Snapping her fingers, Absinthe summoned her messenger app and sent a small notice to all remaining Bruisers:

To: Cobalt Bruisers
From: Absinthe Blue
Subject: Get to Action
Why there's no one trying to reclaim our territory? We haven't been defeated yet. Get inside of Deep Ground and help fight back the Ivory Masks.

Unless... you dare say that you've lost faith in Titania-sama.

Absinthe finished her message before flying to the remnants of the Blue City and announcing her presence with a Double Cast Azure Blazer, knocking a huge hole on the walls without negating the safety that came with being able to fly now that most vehicles had been banned.

RAMPAGING TIGER

"Then, why are you still in your guild, Butterfree?" Tiger asked in reply to Butterfly's self-deprecating comment. "If you are so much of a nobody, it shouldn't matter which side of the conflict you are. All you want is EXP, right?"

The maneuver he came up with elicited a grin from Tiger. At least it looked like Butterfly was learning a bit. Such a shame that Tiger wasn't going to let him build up any more steam...

"That's good, Butterfree," Tiger shouted as she took both attacks head on, reducing her hit points to around sixty percent, only to have the chance to get inside of Butterfly's zero range. "Too bad that you got me fired up now!" She yelled before trying to grab him in a German suplex followed by a submission hold and, if successful, a Roaring Tiger Punch while holding him under her.

@KoL

Unless it was hidden in a nice little button, I can't imagine that people would want to see the same wall of text every time they visit the thread.

Actually, that's a pretty good consideration.

I like that idea for Oth posts. However, isn't there a way to have them appear on top of every page in their respective section in a thread (IC/OOC/CS)? The ability for GMs and Co-GMs to collaborate on them is nice, but more often than not people don't care to dig all the way back to the even the previous page, much less the first, in search of anything in a thread.

Having a sort of announcement board on always on top of every page a player opens would be wonderful to remember people of important things, like OOC rules and IC quests/missions, etc.

Nah, I can't use her in this battle cause she died in the last fight and we have those new restrictions, remember?

Actually, @TheWindel meant that characters that died cannot join/interfere with the same battle, not the next one. There was a certain confusion here.
