A short post, but I really needed to get something done.

I hope it's alright, at least.

Tohka stared blankly as the Weird Armor Guy was thrown violently against a tree. He didn't look like he had suffered any serious injuries. However, she didn't know very well what to do in a situation like this. They defeated the bad guy, right? So, what more could they do?

That was when another strange person appeared talking about a lot of complicated things that Tohka also couldn't wrap her mind around. "Why everyone has to be so complicated? I don't understand anything that's happening. All I want to do is go back home and have a date with Shidou," she said in an exasperated, almost crying voice while hovering a little above the clearing as she tried to think of what she could do.

"You don't need to tell me something so evident. Any mage should be able to tell that this incident the product of some form of dimensional alteration phenomenon. I don't understand what's happening completely yet but I can see this isn't something that the TSAB dealt with in the past," Nanoha replied to Menomaru while still keeping him restrained. The knight's attempt to kill him was thankfully averted by Fate's lookalike, which meant that Nanoha didn't have to interfere with them.

Her reasoning was solid as well, however, a question came to Nanoha's mind, while she had the W.A.S. verify the truth of Menomaru's claims. "What you say may as well be true," she said to the smallest of the blondes, "However, I can't keep him like this forever. We will have to find a way to keep him under arrest. Any of your magic that can do this?"

As soon as she finished her question, Raising Heart chimed, returning the results of the search spell. Nanoha's eyes widened as she verified that, not only Menomaru's story was right, but that one of the signatures in the direction he mentioned was very well known to her.

"Vita! Can you hear me, Vita? I'm close to your location, is everything alright with you? Are you hurt; do you need help?" Nanoha asked in rapid succession, sending a message to Vita while she continued to keep an eye on the others in front of her.

Tamamo's wifely competition would normally escape Atalanta completely, being someone who was never very interested in marriage while she was alive, it was perfectly reasonable that Atalanta wouldn't care much for it after becoming a Heroic Spirit as well. However, she was a Greek Heroic Spirit from the Age of the Gods; being competitive was second nature to her. Atalanta wasn't simply going to stand around and tolerate the fox's advancements.

"That is not a beast that anyone can cook so easily," Atlanta said as she noticed Tamamo's interest in showing her skills. "I'm impressed at Keisuke for being able to do it so well. There were not many men who could cook anything when I was alive. Meleager is the only one I think that could do it well in the Argo. It really is a nostalgic sight." Atalanta moved closer and closer to Keisuke while she talked; when she finally said her piece, she was mere centimeters away from him, reaching for the food.

"Actually, do you think that we can meet the others during this mission, Keisuke?" Atalanta asked while she waited a chance to get her share of whatever is it that Keisuke was doing with the Serpent.
Sincerely, dictionaries are terrible when you are referencing an abstract concept. Just look at how much the scientific community argues about definitions of stuff like energy, heat, etc. Even if you know what it's, you'll never get a straight answer that fills all of the criteria for that subject.

I mean, creativity and ingenuity are the same thing in various levels.

That saying is much more about say, dealing with hardship than doing "original" work. For example, what would you do, if you were hungry and had only a tuna can but no can opener (consider one that doesn't have those easy opening flaps)?

This is the kind of scenario that that saying is more about, or so I think. To overcome obstacles, human beings need to get smart, or they get dead. It can certainly apply to the artistic production as well, but if creativity were so crucial, more than half of today's entertainment industry wouldn't even exist.
The battle continues...

Utada, Unit-T, and Bonesword would all realize the error of the skeleton's judgment a little too late. Indeed the Urchins flocked to the first minion, crushing it like a living meat grinder. However, the idea to approach them on "spider leg" like appendages wasn't all that smart. Even if Bonesword himself didn't touch even one of the critters, the walking devices did, causing several explosions to happen. In a matter of seconds, the area was filled with gory remains and spikes flying everywhere. Nevertheless, what followed this flesh fireworks show was even worse.

Several enormous moray eels, at least 6 meters in length each, some even big enough to eat a grown human alive, swarmed to the area, attracted by the fresh gore that covered everything after the detonations subsided. They attacked everything in sight, with savage aggression, but left the urchins in peace as part of their symbiotic relationship. The urchins attract prey to the moray and feed on their waste, meanwhile, the morays defend the colony, in case it's in danger, a perfect deal for both sides.

Saef's and his men would find the battle going nice and easy to their side, the crabs being all but unable to counter-attack at ranges greater than their claws. However, their sensory apparatus would also catch the constant glimpses of the magic treasures that attract Saef's troops here in first place fading as their high-powered weaponry hit the crabs directly. What would they do about it?

While Cydone and Anteus escaped the wraith jellyfish, landing at the sandy bottom safely, with no signs of imminent threat in their vicinity, just the thunder and flashes coming from Lenuria. From their position, they had a more or less clear shot at Khaine's position, an as well as easy access to the dark abyss on the other edge of the battlefield. All that was needed is to choose a course of action.

Meanwhile, Lucifus would have two bad realizations coming his way: First, using extremely fast, extremely hot attacks underwater isn't a good thing because of vapor explosions right in your face causing immense damage with the sheer force of both the initial explosion and the several aftershocks that may follow. Second, jellyfish are considerably more dangerous dead than alive, especially after dismembered. Thousands of barely visible stings floating on the water with no possible way for you to avoid them, especially when you are swimming right through the mass of corrosive death. Escaping unscathed of all of this self-inflicted punishment would require some really creative thinking.

Jubilee and Cassiopeia's battle against the kraken wouldn't be a hard one. The beast wasn't able to defend itself while being attacked from inside and out. Its fall was only a matter of split moments. However, the water currents were getting stronger and stronger as the kraken tried the only defense left for it, escape to waters too deep for his foes to survive. If the demonic duo didn't think of a solution they could end up being either washed away to god-knows-where or smashed against the jagged cliffs.
By the way, everyone, I 'll have a reply either late today or tomorrow.

I have very interesting things in mind...
@16 Bit

Yup, you are welcome. And, indeed, at least one Machina that sticks around would be very well appreciated.
I know that I'm not a GM bit this CS got me very, very intrigued at two points, despite of how short it's.

Why is it that cats are so deadly to automatons? I thought that Akatsuki could be a cat lover but, if meow attacks are so dangerous, I might reconsider it.

Also, among the big pile of hard to get stuff in there, how can Coal be bilingual and fluent in many "lenguages" at the same time? Isn't polyglot a better term?
Hmmm... the number and the average length of the posts already done it's quite intimidating, I won't lie.

I'm very lost on what I should do to catch up before the story moves too far, or even if I should do anything at all at this point because those posts are really, really scary to look like.

No matter how much I like this idea, I feel that the window of opportunity, for me, is lost already.
Ok, I guess that this is a good time to wait for Eva's reaction before replying with Nanoha. Also, Tenshi, for the other group. I'm not in any hurry, anyway, so you guys do it whenever you can.
