"Tangos? Nah, I like flamenco a lot more, but if that’s your taste I guess I can go along with it," Mavis replied when Mila pointed to the presence of nearby enemies. Of course she knew what the other girl meant to say, but that kind of jargon was funny nonetheless, right? "Anyway, we can take them down if it gives up peace of mind, but… let me tell you a piece of vital battlefield wisdom.

‘Stay cool.’

Before you do anything else just remember this, alright?"
Mavis said as she — tried to — cross an arm around Mila’s neck and drag the taller girl to her level. "Just look at Subaru for example," she said, taking a glance at the drone that floated silently besides them, "she’s so cool it feels like you are staring at an iceberg, right? That’s the kind of attitude you gotta have if you wanna survive for long enough in the battlefield. Right… buddy?"

"We should keep moving. According to the mission data, one of the sensors we need repair is right there," Subaru’s said through Neptune, while pointing at the roof of a building not that far away from their current position. "There are more invaders in that direction, about three or four more," she added.

"By the way, Celica went missing. Even though her team went in the opposite direction, keep an eye open for anything out of order," Subaru said in her her usual sleepy voice.

"Will do," Mavis replied.

"Now then. As the our Gunner, threat assessment is part of your duty. We will fight anyone you think we need to but, in the meanwhile, we should get going. Those batteries won’t swap themselves!"

“Hah, all of us enrolling? That’s your problem with me?” Aegis replied to the Tsuruga’s worried plea with hearty laughter, more or less ignoring the arrival of the other two. What they did or not was none of her business but the blonde couldn’t happen but be amused by the source of this confusion.

“If that’s the problem, you needn’t be worried. First of all, I’m not with those two. My mission is mine alone. And second,” Aegis produced a student ID from one of her pockets before continuing, “I’m not a kid like you. In fact, I’m here at this time because I don’t have to bother with ‘special classes’ like you do.”

“As soon as I get what I’m looking for, I’ll get going. This you can be sure of, after all… I’m not looking forward to having ‘that’ happen again,” Aegis said in slightly less abrasive tone — especially the last part of her sentence — as she put her ID away and attempted to resume her walk past Tsuruga. “Just do a favor for your own selves and don’t get involved with what I’m doing here. All of you,” she said, turning to look at the recently arrived duo.

Christa Yamashiro

“I was going back home, like anyone would at this time, it just happens to be that going through this park is the shortest route,” Christa replied to the younger girl, eyeing her weird mannerisms with a great deal of care while trying to not stare too much out of consideration for her privacy. “But, never mind that. You are much younger than I’m so, by your own logic, you are in a more vulnerable position,” she added, reversing the argument.

“If you are lost, I can help get to the nearest police station. It’s not that far from here. Otherwise, I suppose that I’ll have to bid you farewell,” Christa said in as much of a helpful tone as she could muster. She couldn’t simply abandon a child that might as well be lost without at least offering to help. even though this one felt off for some reason that she couldn’t tell that easily.
I think I'll fold as well. I really can't think of a reply at this moment.

Sorry for that but see ya.

While the time went by in its inexorable ways, the majority of squads of trainees seemed to be going about their missions at the expected pace. Except perhaps for the small encounters with the invaders that some of them had, nothing was out of order. However, not all squads seemed to share the same fate as was the case of Afterglow and their lost Gunner, right at the beginning of the mission.

In fact, this occurrence would likely get evident for Celica’s teammates, when the lack of a proper scout or team formation resulted in three invaders creeping into Fiore and Tian-Gui from a set of nearby ruins. Thanks to Fiore’s drone, the duo would have a few moments of advance to react. What they would do next is entirely up to them.

Meanwhile, Yui’s Gang would find an unexpected sight of a whole different category as they advanced on their mission. As they approached some wetlands that likely formed when rainwater caused the ground to crumble, they would find a few seriously damaged, abandoned mobile suits. Each of the once impressive machines looked like it dated at least several years ago, possibly even as far back as the tie of the Second Genesis itself. While the rotting pieces of metal didn’t seem to represent anything special or hold anything of value, at first sight, the wetlands were a whole other case. Traversing them was the shortest route to the sensor they sought, but was it worth it? Only the trainees could decide whether or not it was useful to do so, lose time to go around or search for another sensor.

Mavis spent most of the travel to the Western District either playing some handheld games or trying to talk to whoever would listen to her infatuated description of whatever manga or comic book had her attention at the moment. After all, the mood didn’t seem to be that great, and Mavis generally took to the mission of keeping the spirits high whenever she could. Sadly, it looked like she wouldn’t have much time to do so, given the briefing and their following arrival at their destination.

"Come on, just when I was about to get to the best part," she said in a dejected voice with her shoulders slumping in disappointment. "But well, I guess there’s nothing we can do, right team?" She said following Mila to the landing area, after securing the batteries as well as some standard supplies in a backpack.

"You are going to stay in the command center, right Subaru? We will be trusting our backs to you again," Mavis said, smiling, as she looked back at their third partner before patting Mila in the back to emphasize her point.

"Indeed," Subaru replied in her usual drowsy voice, after spending most of the journey either fiddling with one of the command consoles or sleeping while using Neptune as a body pillow. "Nep will be with you… so there’s nothing to worry about," her voice came out of the drone’s speakers as it hovered to the side of her companions.

"Our first objective is… one and a half kilometers to the Northwest. I can get you more or less a third of the way with the visual input from the console, but you’ll have to walk from there onwards," Subaru said as she created as a portal popped up in existence in front of her Neptune. "I detect two low-level signatures close to your arrival point. You can decide whether or not to engage since you’ll be coming out right in the middle of a crossroads," she added before going silent or perhaps, dozing off. Who knows?

As soon as they were ready, Mavis crossed the portal, ready to intercept any potential ambushes while they decided how to proceed.
Lancer

“Ugh, why does this kind of thing have to happen with me?” Lancer complained just as they arrived back into their headquarters. The final moments of the cave battle somehow triggered the her Migraine, perhaps because of the influence of that black mud. Even though Elizabeth never touched it, as Antihero, she could feel the power humming from it, almost as it it were whispering dark truths on the pink-haired Lancer’s ears.

“What did I do to deserve this? Even when I’m trying to make up for everything, this… argh! I guess that I just need to be alone sometime,” Lancer grunted, clutching her head as she walked down the headquarters’ hallways, towards her room. Elizabeth could only hope that staff member would be unlucky enough to cross her path since the dragon girl didn’t know what she was capable of doing in this state.

Or better, it was the fact that she knew what she could do that made Elizabeth sick.
Berserker

The battle ended in a way that she wasn’t expecting. To say the truth, who would think that one of their allies would literally drop a cave on their heads just to take down an enemy? Perhaps, if it was Heracles doing it… but that girl was King of Knights. You’d expect that one of the most revered Heroic Spirits would be more considerate of her allies. Or maybe she was a leader of the same caliber as Jason. There was no way for Atalanta to know, nor any reason for her to care. As long as this so called mission would allow her to ensure that there would still be a tomorrow waiting for all children, she could tolerate even being roped in the same boat as that man once again.

The feral Berserker didn’t come out of her soliloquy until they reached what the others said to be their headquarters. “So, this the place where you assemble thy forces, huh? It looks sterile to the point of feeling unnatural,” Atalanta said to no one in particular, before turning around to address the blonde, short stacked Caster. “I still have questions about what you meant when we first met. If thou art not busy I would appreciate an explanation, while you show me how this facility is organized,” she said in her own archaic way of speech that didn’t feel like it belonged to a member of the Berserker Class at all.
Eleonor Evangeline

“I’m sorry about that. The thing is that since so many Enforcers behave like that, some of us end up generalizing it without thinking,” Eleonor said, offering a smile as an apology, while shaking Keisuke’s hand. “I hope that we can—” before she could say anything else, a small, girly-looking being pretty much wedged herself between the them and began to spout her virtues, or perhaps — given her mannerisms — was she trying to woo Eleonor? Whatever was the answer, the mage couldn’t help but smiling back at the smallish Casters, especially when the alternative was chuckling which probably isn’t the wisest choice in this situation.

“There there, aren’t you a good Caster?” Eleonor said, patting Caster on the head. “Of course I’ve seen most of what happened from the Command Center. All of you worked very hard, so I guess that you deserve a reward. What do you say about this...” she said while still patting Caster’s head. With her free hand, Eleonor conjured a crimson rose, as read as her own hair, and knelt down, offering it to the smallish sorceress. “Is it a gift worth of a great seductress such as yourself?” she asked as a coy smile graced her lips.
@TheWindel@Melkor
London could have been deemed unsalvageable thanks to widespread destruction. So there should be no problems in that regard.

Also, I think that your character is alright now. If Windel doesn't have anything else to say you can move him to the CS tab.

@KoL Heya.

I edited my new Psychic drive into my character for verification. I showed Windel before, but I'll still show you here so you don't have to go in my CS and all. I hope it's better this time:

" While Mila's augmented body makes her faster and stronger than a regular, none-psychic user human, it also affects her own Psychic ability and renders it weaker. To counteract this, those responsible for Project Angel equipped Mila's gun with another important component: a secondary launcher containing a dozen or so seemingly harmless high-tech rods.

Once launched, the rods disperse all around the battlefield, their usage are twofold: they are psy-enhancers and while close to them Mila can use her Psychic Drive: Gravity Pull.

Once activated, all hostile forces and incoming projectiles (That possess mass) within 20ft are affected by an augmented gravity that pulls them towards the ground, thus either stopping an attack or slowing down hostile forces. "

I also edited in a Theme Song for the Lols and the fact that she's a Good Hacker.

Sure, that is alright with me as well.
I said this on the Discord, but I'll repeat it here for the sake of organization:

You are free to roam however you like during the mission. So, make up whatever route you want.

As far as geographic details go, you don't need to have pin point accuracy regarding the lay of the land of Western Kyoto, just consider that the mission area is more or less a 10 miles radius circle around the helipad, which gives a decent mix of urban ruins, and forest-covered mountains in the vicinity of Mount Atago.

@HeroicSociopath
I think your character is alright now that you've decided on the number of number of grenades he's carrying. Just wait for @TheWindel's opinion before moving him to the CS tab.

He'll be on Team 03 as a temporary member, until we get another free Linker.
