Current I'm going to have to take a break for awhile. One of my dogs just passed; we went to bed together like we always do and when I woke up she was gone. I feel awful right now.

Had a fun birthday. Had some alligator tail for dinner, overall was pretty good for a place I hadn't been to before. Will start getting back into the groove of things soon.

>could've played coop for the juggernaut achievement in s1 instead of playing against drop/jumpshotting sweatlords with M4s, MP5s, 725s, etc.

If any of y'all need the juggernaut challenge for this season on MW, just play coop because its way easier to get 1000 points and then buy it from the munitions thing. At least I got it this time, since in s1 the challenge never unlocked for me despite calling in a juggernaut and IW took until the first week of s2 to even reply to my ticket (which by then I couldn't do anything about it).
Before anyone asks: I talked with @DruSM157 about what might be the mascot for Everbrook High, and we decided on the Grizzly Bear if anyone else might need that information.

Location: Court Street, Everbrook Public Library
Date: May 28th, 2020

Contrary to what Asélie had expected, the local library had been buzzing with activity as she wheeled her skateboard towards the building. Cars and bikes lined the library exterior, sometimes with faces Asélie recognized from her short career at Everbrook High; faces she expected to be out riding their bikes to the park for a game of baseball or to some other place that teenagers would hang out in a boring town like Everbrook. They all had three months to do whatever they wanted after all the bullshit they put up with, and everyone wanted to visit the library?

"Talk about old-fashioned," Asélie uttered, out loud and to no one in particular.

Stopping momentarily to hop off her board (she didn't want to be yelled at again for riding her skateboard inside the library), Asélie walked up to the front steps of the building, and was greeted by one of the many familiar faces she had recognized seconds ago. "Seems today is full of surprises. I hadn't expected Everbrook High's star wide receiver to be a man of the books." Asélie smiled back, tossing a friendly jab at Danny as he held the door open for her.

"So, how about that football season, huh? Sucks that it was canceled because of quarantine." Asélie commented as she walked inside digging through her bag for the books she needed to return. She didn't particularly care about American football, instead being sucked into the Canadian craze of ice hockey and lacrosse because of her Quebecois roots and—though she would rather die than admit it—her parents, some small talk wouldn't hurt anyone. "I'm sure the Everbrook Grizzlies will be the regional champs next season, though."

As she pulled the library books from her school bag, however, their conversation, and seemingly everyone else's, was suddenly interrupted by someone who said "fuck off" to the old adage of being quiet in the library and announced himself to everyone that had been in the front of the building.

"Cold? I guess it's a little cold in here. But more importantly, Bill? Will? You look like you've seen a ghost. You okay?" She asked, paying little heed to the door slam and creaking—old buildings always had old building issues from wear and tear.
Maybe it is just me, but i feel that perhaps we should move away from writing length categories, and more towards genre. Split the groups up into things like SoL, Sci-fi, Fantasy etc. I think as a new user, that would make things alot easier to get into. You join the site, you want to do a fantasy RP, you check the fantasy section and find a RP that fits you. Hope that makes sense.

That's basically the tag system but in section form. Plus, we already have this nifty filter that lets you filter by tag, be that genre, writing level, group size, etc. Would be nice to have a filter for interest checks and a way to toggle on or off full roleplays in your search, though.

I don't come over to these threads often, so I don't typically see what gets posted here :P

You would think the site would provide a system to report and move these RPs to their proper categories. That alone would liven up the Advanced section again.

That's fine; I'm just pointing out that the whole "low casual/high casual", "casual writers are advanced level", etc. discussion has brought up repeatedly in the past and has been summarily beaten into the ground and to death at this point.

And yes; roleplays have been moved in the past to correct categories. Most recent was @Poohead189 moving Myriad Reality to Free, I believe? Personally, though, what decides if a roleplay is free/casual/advanced is entirely subjective. For instance, if we go by the current category descriptions, even advanced roleplays aren't fit for the advanced section. You'll be hard pressed to find an advanced roleplay that is "generally two paragraphs" per post, which is why I see ideas like this suggestion a better fit than what is currently in place on the guild to hopefully clear up things and stop the constant debate about this whole "high/low" writing level tier thing.
