I'm going to have to take a break for awhile. One of my dogs just passed; we went to bed together like we always do and when I woke up she was gone. I feel awful right now.

Had a fun birthday. Had some alligator tail for dinner, overall was pretty good for a place I hadn't been to before. Will start getting back into the groove of things soon.

If you've wound up here, you're probably wondering who I am. You can call me Kuro, although some of you might better recognize me by one of the several other names that I have used in the past throughout the 11-ish years that I have spent on this forum. I'm a middle-twenties retail manager that is still trying to relive the glory days of their roleplay career while balancing a full-time job with an unsatiable need for overtime. I tend to be open to most ideas when it comes to roleplay itself, be it whatever genre, group size, system, etc. That being said, I often gravitate to anything that falls in the following categories: anime, fantasy, slice of life, superhero or survival horror. If you believe that you have an idea that I might be interested in, feel free to shoot me a link; I'll get back to you as soon as I possibly can. Sometimes I forget to check my messages, so don't feel bad about pestering me again if I missed it. I also have a discord server laying around. I checked it a few days ago and the show was resting at 10% on Rotten Tomatoes. By the time I woke up the next day it dropped to 7% audience rating. Literally any place you look (Metacritic, IMDb, Google User reviews, etc.) there isn't a lick of goodwill towards it.

I don't know. I thought the first season was pretty fun, but yeah its nothing great. I think we are a little too hard on SAO at times in the anime community. It's average at worst, I feel.
I just think SAO is a terrible series. I don't have much of anything positive to say about it, although I will admit it has been awhile since I watched the show. I do think the GGO sections are just slightly better, however, but not by much.
D&D or Pathfinder
Why even consider D&D at the moment with how they're handling the OGL, though
So people keep telling me SAO is bad after the first or second season, everything after is all downhill. That right?
SAO in general is a bad show.
It isn't worth watching unless you care to watch mainstream stuff.
