I just moved all my stuff to the new place, set up my bed, worked a five hour shift then had to walk fourteen blocks home cause the buses stopped running early. I am so beat but there's a half finished shelf in the middle of my room that is nagging me to finish it.
@Prince of Seraphs Hey are you open to accepting one more RPing enthusiast into this? I would really enjoy picking a game character...
Sure but it might be a couple days to a week before we start, or I have time to look at your sheet. Nevertheless post one up and I'll get to it as soon as I have a computer with internet.
Prince, when you get the chance, could you explain why you're favoring just one character per player rather than two? I feel like you must have said already, but either I forgot or I missed it. In my eyes, having two characters opens up more options for each player to take if they so desire, while they need not do two if they'd rather do just one. It could be more fun, further interaction with other players' characters, and possibly give a player an option to play with themselves if they feel like it would be beneficial.
I say this because in a previous multiversal RP I was in, the hero characters started in one place and the villains in another, not permanently divided but guaranteed some time with people in their own way of thinking. Being able to have two characters made it possible for people to have one in each camp and explore each side of the coin. Of course, I have no idea what you're planning with the RP, so this may not be at all necessary, but I thought I'd bring it up. If you're on the fence about this topic and are thinking of putting it to a vote, mine is certainly cast for a two-character cap.
I believe you remember the Phoenix Wing RP. Don't know if you are still apart of it but when I was there it was chaotic. How many characters did some of the players control? Eight, nine, entire guilds. That was what I was attempting to avoid. Until I had a better grasp of how many players we were likely to average I figured that keeping it to one character per player was safest.
As it is now with us having somewhere around a dozen players give or take I think it is reasonable to let everyone choose a second character. Wonder what mine will be... maybe, Navi :)
@Lugubrious I agree. This can also mean I can either have that Bayonetta I was talking about having to get back her powers, or some kind of villain character.
Or Bayonetta becoming a villain in the pursuit of her lost powers.
I'll get to everyone's characters when I have more time. @James Marshall Welcome aboard.
@BlackPanther Everyone ganging up on Summer lol poor Feoras is like "wtf did I ever do to you all?!"
Well Nyx regards Feoras as weak because of his human heritage so he hopes by causing emotional strife within the Summer King coupled with all the other crap that is happening it will show the Summer people Feoras' weaknesses as a leader. Nyx is laying the groundwork for a revolution in Summer.
I can't decide whether Arys is going to make Lyra sick or make her grow up.... decisions decisions on how to mess with
I thought I was going to get to age her up. Though I suppose Spring and Winter could hash a plan together since Spring's the more magically inclined and less likely to kill Lyra in the attempt.
Well, I said I'd get one out, but I sorta fell asleep. xD sorry. Anywho I have to poof off for four days to work in the field. I'd love to join, but don't wait up for me and its fine if you feel like you have enough as it is. Have fun.
I'm actually going to be spending the next couple of days moving. So it is possible we won't have started by the time you get back. If we have though you are still welcome to join.
Everyone I'm going to be offline for a couple of days. As soon as I get my computer set up at the new place I will go through all the CSes in the character tab and hopefully we can get this on the move within the week.
Speaking of mute characters, mine also happens to be mute, for the most part anyways. I'll have him speak a few lines here and there, but mostly he'll be talking in his head or just simply acting out.
This is actually something I should probably address. If you are playing a Silent Protagonist unless there is an in game for them to be physically unable to speak they are able to talk. What you do with that is up to you but Link and Gordan Freeman are not mutes.
It's certainly going to be a challenge playing a mute, but you never know if you can't do something until you try. Besides, I'm sure Mr. N could act as her voice.
Don't you mean Captain N?
Did this at 2 in the morning. Will come back and refine it later.

When this submachine gun was launched, during the Dark Ages, Vindico created the surprise by being better than Croon on its own familiar ground. The Motra combines power, thanks to its high caliber, and accuracy. The weapon is also very compact. This weapon has known a large success among of the security services and among Special Forces. Now it is used by federal Special Forces, and also by the federal police. Many terrorists and rebels groups use it for their missions.
This more than strange katana with an overall length of 1420 mm, a blade length of 970 mm and a weight of 1250 g is forged by the Holy Forge in a very limited number. Each Facere Mortis is unique and has a mood that is proper to it. A mysterious reptilian eye lies on it, and seems to be alive. Very rare studies about it have shown that it has an organic nature, without being able to say more about it. The first manufacture was done so long ago no one can remember, the Secreta Secretorum is the Forge's main client for this weapon. Some rumors say that each Facere Mortis would be made out of Metastreumonic creatures' chunks, but nobody has been able to prove that.
Few years before SLM's bankrupt and closure during the Dark Ages, they created the Depezador, a very powerful shotgun. This shotgun has, without a doubt, and incredible fire power and a destructive efficiency. It was very appreciated by all kinds of security forces during its time. The Depezador also found its clients in criminal groups as well as in assault forces.
Currently, it has been used by federal forces and also by E.Y.E. Its high-capacity ammo clip has a large role in this choice.
Abilities:
- He comes with 9 ressurectors, a cocktail of drugs that, when he is near death, renders him into a coma, or a 'fake death'. After a few minutes, it proceeds to inject him with powerful combat stimulants, getting him on his feet seemingly good as new. - He is capable of latent psi powers, doing everything from teleporting inside of his enemy, causing them to explode apart, to picking up and throwing items as large as buses with incredible force using his mind. - Given a short amount of time, his armor can automatically 'fix' damage such as crippled limbs and madness. This is known as maintenance.
Weaknesses and Limitations:
- Every so often his psi abilities backfire, doing everything from launching him at high speed in a random direction, to crippling his sanity. - He is incredibly unstable, capable of falling to everything from paranoia to vivid hallucinations. - His maintenance option takes some time to do its job. Personality: To put it straight, he is an asshole. He cannot hold a conversation for his life. A relatively civil response from him involves exclaiming his intent to murder you and then burn down your entire home, before proceeding to fuck your dog. He is not a nice person. His goals vary wildly, though mostly they are based on being given orders.
Backstory:
During the first incident with the Metastreumonic-force in the Elato forest, the Federation called Secreta Secretorum to take care of this issue. For the Federation, this new force was the same one which had been so destructive during the disastrous report of the Croon incident, but very quickly Secreta Secretorum proved that this Force hadn't any resemblance with the one that the Federation so dreaded. As soon as Secreta Secretorum was in place, the mysterious Force that Secreta Secretorum called the "Metastreumomic" will sent a messenger. This messenger was captured, studied and killed. In the official report, the creature attacked first using its messenger status to surprise the Secreta Secretorum's members. Then Secreta and the Federation army jointly launched a raid into the forest to purify it.
But the raid was a failure, no one survived and the zone was declared forbidden. Soon later Secreta Secretorum introduced the E.Y.E project to create an army of warrior monks, with one major specification; the messenger's DNA was used to create a legion of 1100 soldiers. Each member of E.Y.E was also cybernetic with next-generation technology. The first aim of E.Y.E was to avert all actions of the metastreumomic will. To reach this goal, E.Y.E, along with elite soldiers of the army, launched a new raid to pacify the forest that met with rapid success.
Several years later after the seven-years war against the Metastreumonic-force that decimated 70% of humanity, Secreta Secretorum, taking full account of the Federation's coercive measures, decides to attempt a coup d'état. E.Y.E troops stand at the ready, rallied to win by desperation to get out from under federal rule. It's in this chaos that the creatures of the metastreumomic will reappear, launching fast and devastating attacks over all of the Federation, including New Eden.
The Federation hardened the laws prohibiting access to high-end war equipment such as the energy weapons. The whole market is in shortage. Secreta Secretorum launches its own research programs to counter it. E.Y.E is in its worst possible position. Officially, the structure no longer exists. Covertly, it takes actions through Secreta Secretorum to fight the Metastreumonic force, but the enemies of the group as well. E.Y.E is still divided into two groups, Culter Dei and Jian Shang Di which with time, become rivals and hostile one towards each other. The equipment difficulties that both groups share are undoubtedly not foreign to these tensions. By the Year 15 (2395 in the old era), the invasion by the Metastreumonic force increases each day, and the war against the Federation ravages whole worlds every second.
It is also two in the morning right now and I'm about to go to bed so I'll go through this in more detail later. For the moment I should just say that if his PSI powers are latent that means they are non functional. Latent by definition means present but dormant.
