Well Katrina is an ex Sidekick. Three times in fact. So maybe Medai won't like her once she realizes that Katrina indirectly helped with the amnesia three times. Though Katrina is a more than a little disillusioned with Heros in general by this point.

Thank you! I was wondering if there was the potential for Katrina to run into Heros she had helped before, and now I know she won't.

Though all this discussion about power levels and what to expect had helped me figure out a potential role for Katrina as the one who knows th Other Side. Which is exciting.

That's promising! For lots of reasons. It gives me hope that our characters, our being all of us, will actually be able to work together without spending all their free time plotting against each other.

See, I had rhe exact opposite experience in my early RP days. I had crafted a Mary-Sue completely by accident. The GM took her, but the rest of the players were not happy. I loved my character. I loved their characters. I loved the story. But the OoC interactions were not fun and this was at the height of my depression. So, now I try really hard to create balanced characters. It wasn't my intent to make Katrina the clear underdog like she'sturning out to be, but she's not completely useless. So, right now I'm happy with her. Maybe over the course of the story she'll pull a magic sword or merge with Rolf or gain the wisdom of the ages. Or maybe she'll die forever. Whatever the case, I'm hoping to have fun.

I'm pretty positive Katrina is a level 1 character in this case. She's clever, but she's not winning fights against the other characters with brute strength. Yam I Am didn't say anything negative about her, so I think she qualified for the scenario. Whether she'll be accepted is a whole other question, but I don't think you need to worry about your character being over or under powered.

If you want your character to be part of the Knights of Valance I am totally down with that. We would have to discuss it though in order to flesh out backstory. Maybe they are from different chapters or something. I would prefer to do that over PMs though. Right now I've posted too many posts in the thread and am getting the same type of anxiety I get from talking too much and not realized I'm talking to much long after that point had passed.

Also. It's LadyAnnaLee or AnnaLee. That is the name I picked for me and there is a reason it's not just Anna. I'm not trying to be a not nice word, but I am politely asking you to please respect my choice. Thank you.

The Knights of Valance have a mix of both. Some believe in the glory and holiness of Saint Zariah. Some just want power and an excuse to ransack and other violence. Some have actual holy power. Some just have enhancements.
