Bio

Hello! I'm LadyRunic! But you knew that...

I love most types of Role Play, but by far my favorites are those that are well thought out and worked with. Especially when you can find a group you can work well with. I love books- So many books. It's a running bet that I will become buried under a pile of said objects one day... I'm a tad busy, and when an Rp really catches my interest I'm inpatient for posts. It's like reading a good book and getting stuck on a cliff hanger.

You can generally expect posts regularly once a week if not more.

I've RP'd for the better part of fourteen years, so I can honestly say I have some experience and I've developed the understanding of what I expect of a partner in a one-on-one or a group. I'm also the sort who will speak up and point out something if it looks off or forms a problem to me. I spent most of a year once stuck in a Voice Chat Rp that was hell on Earth, so I'm straight forward when I need to say something. I expect this in return from my Rpers and DMs. I want to improve my writing and love constructive criticism.

@Rakurai Quick thought, could Yennifer fly? I wasn't even thinking about theat when I made her!
@Rakurai How is this little lady?

@Fabricant451 Same, I'd rather worry about that than tests though. At least with that you don't have to deal with 'home work', papers and such. Depending on your job things are straight forward generally.
Roll call guys, I need to know who has what rulers. @BlackPanther You Summer, I'm Fall. I got us two down.

Srry for being slow, Holidays and spring break came up. So now I have my life back on track. Let's get this Rp going.
Plot

All legends hold seeds of the truth.

The Gods of the Ancient World lived, and they still do. They fought their wars and play their games of politics. They found love and hatred. Pantheons rose and fell. Demi-gods contained the powers of their parents to a degree. Dragons, demons and such existed.

The year is 116 AD, and the Roman Empire is at the height of their power. The Olympian pantheon reigns supreme with their Roman worshipers. The other pantheons fight to keep their power and worshipers.

About the RolePlay

In this Rp I mean to explore the ancient world and politics of the Gods as they vie for power and domination or perhaps to simply protect what is theirs. Very Slice-of-Life in ancient times with a good mix of fantasy.

You can play any God, or a DemiGod. Heck, you can even play a human or a demon. And you could possibly destroy the world, but I don't think anyone here wants to rule over nothing.

Rules

-Respect GMs!
-Proper grammar and spelling!
-Please be civilized!
-Two to three Paragraphs. Going for high casual here.
-More to Come...

Pantheons

Godly Powers

Gods share some similar powers beside their specialized powers, for example Apollo's Sun and Artemis's Moon. All Gods can Teleport, Manifest basic items, summon items in hand, have a general sense of omniscience over mortals though not other gods or Demi-gods, they also have telekinesis on varying levels, and can throw Godly Bolts of power and create brief shield.

Demi Gods can only use the specialized powers, a very weak sense of omnisceince more like gleaning a feeling of weak minded people. They can only manifest items by their specialized medium.

-Please keep updated-
@Henri Still have room for more humans? This seems interesting.
@Rakurai Got room for one more? I'm very interested.
Gwydion Arryl

"Gwydion!" The cellar bounced the voice of the inn's master, Tarris Syris, about the cold interior where the man's younger partner and live in bard and bouncer was stocking wine barrels. Green eye peered up at the short, blocky figure of Tarris in the cellar door. "We've got ah festival a'comin'! Ye set-"

White teeth flashed in a laid back smile. "Aye, I've set the better years towards the front. Easy reach." The deep voice of the former wander was all in good humor. Stepping up the steep and rickety stairs, he often wondered how they managed to bear one of his build. Stepping along lightly, he patted the shorter man on the shoulder. The festival had been forewarned to them by some friendly Guards that frequented their establishment and forewarned was fore armed. "Worry not! I've-"

"Got it all handled 'ave ye?" Tarris sighed in mock remorse. "You're givin' me naught to do laddy!" Both just chuckled, knowing it was most likely just as well. Tarris was a old, old man. Most things he couldn't do without help, though he still poured the ale and tended the bar while they paid a near-by pair of village sisters to cook for them and the inn. Often merely the night. While Gwydion wasn't the best cook, his food was passable. Tarris had been loathed to accept hope in his aging life, but hearing the poor lad's tale had made him all the more keen to accept Gwydion on as a partner. Having been a traveler himself before he opened The Griffon's Tankard, he knew the ailment of most mercenaries. Age brought a lack of limber body and that misfortune led to death. Plus the poor lad had near drank himself under the table in melancholy. Noting the day had been when he had last seen his sister's smiling face before he left. After a bit of wheedling, Tarris had learned that Gwydion had returned to find his sister missing and his family dead. Bandits had been Gwydion's reason. That and disease. "Heard any word on your sister?" The Tavern keeper wandered behind the bar arranging tankards.

Gwydion looked over at the faux griffon over the mantel, holding a tankard in it's beak that had seen better days. Tarris refused to removed it, claiming it was a lucky tankard. One he had won many a dice game with. "Nothing," His voice echoed with disappointment. "Twenty years... She may not even be alive." Even as he said that Gwydion knew the truth. Cerid was alive. He had seen her walk across the shale slope before he had taken the form of a fox and led their hunters off her trail. It had been later when he found the druid that he had learned she lived. She had trained some, but that had only accounted for near five of those years before she and her Druid teacher had wondered into their native kingdom again. Fifteen years she had been here, and he had looked here for five. Two of which had been at this tavern and the news had been rather relishing. Druids and magicians were sharp topics and when Uther sent out a hunt he knew. If that hunt was after his sister, he would offer his service, claiming the witch had wronged him. Perhaps that would work, or would it best to race ahead on the Mule? His horse was stabled in the inn's stable, as good as any guard dog. Wiping down a table the large warrior missed the sympathetic look that Tarris sent his way.
@Vicier That's a shame, but life is life. And I think we all can agree that RL throws some wicked curve balls.

@BlueAjah When does Merlin EVER get a day off?! When he's not working he's doing something to cause work. Or someone causing him to work inadvertently.

See? This is what happens when you have a cold, you get philosophical which is the best mood for Gwydion.... Posting!
@rechonq

Aisling hesitated. Something from him would be useful, but what would be the price? She knew there would be no good if this Fae sought to turn her upon Falk or if she fell indebted to Lost. It was jut the game of the Fae. Quid pro qou. Green eyes glanced away as she continued on her way. Reluctant to ask, reluctant to go. She wished to seek out the girl and give her the gift as she had been bid. Well, in all seriousness, ordred would be a better term. Ordered with name and impatient tap. Something Falk rarely did. "What have I to offer? I am but a servant and a human. My music is poor to your ears and my life a petty thing."
