Desdemona's eyes gleamed as the aggravating ball thunked against her muzzle. The little French
nino was at least bearable. Even with his antics, it was his French tongue that allowed him life whilst he was so near. Daring to call her
'Maman'. The language was something she had picked up living the the catacombs in Paris for several decades. Oh, yes. The Snake Woman had been about a good portion of Europe. Spain, France, Italy, and a bit of Germany and Greece. Though the latter three were short visits during war and famine. Things that left her prey out of her reach. So she had moved from the darkness of her tunnels to collect them. A annoying task. But this boy, this loud-mouthed brat dared to interrupt her show? Her meal to threaten? To endanger himself? Oh, he was in more danger than he could imagine. Desdemona already was concocting the many ways to break every bone. To leave him utterly helpless. But first... She would need to get closer.
Tossing the French lad off with a sharp snap of her head, she moved forward. Swaying, she ignored the screams of people as she slithered from the enclosure that kept them from her and her from them. Let them scream and fear, it was time to teach that brat a lesson. It wasn't every day a twenty foot cobra/anaconda left a pen to enter a crowd of screaming food. Several fainted, the rest bolted. Some in true terror, other laughing at this obviously planned act. And it was a planned act in a way, Liguardia thought. A act planned on the ravings of a mad child. Her tawny eyes gleamed as she locked onto Johnny, her hood flaring as he rose up to be eye level as she advanced. Holding his gaze with each sway that brought her closer. She would sacrifice any number of souls to devour the pest's. His she would enjoy, even sordid and disgusting as it was. Drawing closer she pulled back slowly, arching herself to draw his eyes up and prepare for that deadly kiss. Not one that would kill, but would lead to him finding a final napping place. Oh, yes. He would sleep and she would have a meal. All would be well.
