Oof. I haven't had to write a real essay since high school, but I feel your pain.
Part of it was self inflicted, unfortunately. I don't really like the class/professor, so even though the instructions were to write "a short (few paragraphs and figures) report," I wrote 2,000 words. But since I put so much time and effort into the project itself, that professor is going to take that journey with me and he's going to understand every bit of pain and blood that went into it.

It doesn't work if you don't word it as "Did you mean:." "I think you meant" is in no way equatable to the "meme." And you call yourself a memeist. Pathetic.
Because it's not a direct meme. It's a reference. Only meme newbies with uncultured palates require direct callbacks to memes instead of light references with hints of other underlying memetic structures. It's like a well seasoned and tender steak versus one just thrown on the grill quickly. Sure, it'll still probably be good, but it has a long way to go.

This was a while ago, and he was having a rough time, at that time. That's no secret. The city that I had said was destroyed was built by him, and I don't think I've ever seen a larger artificial structure before it or since.
I don't know; I've met people with some pretty big egos out there.
