After all, theres not much you can do if you're stuck in the air.
It doesn't take a lot of force to break out. By the time the magnetic force is strong enough to do serious restraint of powerful beings, it's already misshaping electron spins of atoms anyway.

Can you influence the iron in someone's body, or is there a limit?
It isn't as useful as something like electricity control, but there are some tricks you pick up. I can influence bodily iron, but it's not in a form eager to respond to the electromagnetic force. You'll start levitating before anything interesting happens to your blood.
