I. Intro
One decision...can change the fate of an entire world.
In this world, Admiral Proudmoore, when encountering the Orcs of Durotar, decided to let reason prevail - yes, he hated The Horde for their atrocities, especially the personal ones, but his fleet had barely recovered from their escape from the Eastern Kingdoms, and the Scourge still held thier old homelands; renewed war, even against Orcs, would waste strength that can be used to succor the refugees of Lordareon.
So, against his heart, he decided to listen to his daughter, Jaina, when she told him that the only reason he was able to find refuge in Kalimdor in the first place was due to the Orcs and their pact with the Alliance Remnants. And so, there was no conflict with the Orcs, and with the suppression of Old Hatreds, there was no need for the Alliance to make overtures to the Night Elves, and the Horde to even consider including the Forsaken into their ranks.
It was a more peaceful world...but this happiness was not without its costs. For with the Horde and Alliance not warring with each other, support for Adventurers was less, and Evil can plan with more liberty. The Burning Legion, the Scourge, and the Old Gods, all of them are moving, trying to take Azeroth for themselves. However, just because there were few people to stop them did not mean there were none.
Enter the Argent Dawn. A group of noble warriors from all races, the Dawn is a scholarly and martial organization dedicated to safety of Azeroth as a whole. Supported by the various governments of the Alliance and Horde, they are beginning operations across a wide variety of fronts, pushing back the grimness of the various enemies of all those who live. And they are hiring.
You are an Adventurer, from any race (even Night Elves and Forsaken, which are independent factions in this world), and you have been offered a vast sum of gold if you would join the Dawn for a task involving fighting, exploration, and above all, reward.
