Current Two days ago, Noble Arms is indisputably four years old, spread out across three threads, and the third thread is still ongoing and about to reach the endgame...

Noble Arms is now either four years old, or three years and eleven months. The third thread had lasted for more than one year.

My Roleplay, Noble Arms: The ASEAN War, will reach its 4th year in June or July. It's been a long journey.

((Collab Post between Letter Bee and Mass City; Post that moves the plot will be coming soon))

Bangor, Maine

As Cedric Wessex waited for his flight, he began to have belated second thoughts. Was trying to flee the country really the answer? Would he not be endangering his fellow Star Kids by leaving? After all, there was still room to bargain, right, and there would be rewards for good behavior.

So, he departed his seat, seemingly going to a small bookstand, keeping a high level of awareness, watching every shadow and any stranger that was close by.

Then, halfway to the bookstore, he spoke, out of nowhere, in a voice that would not be noticed by any passerby but would be picked up by watchers:

"I'm Cedric Wessex, and I'm ready to bargain."

No one really noticed him saying his statement. Those that did thought he was a kid playing a prank.

Well, best to buy a book, then; it was apparent that he should just wait to be nabbed. Continuing his walk, he then bought a biography of JFK once he reached the bookstore, although he had to lie to the shopowner that his parents are nearby. He then began walking back to his airport seat; would the Government really just let him leave the country?

"Boy you're making a mistake." said the man next to him.

Cedric turned around, fear in his eyes. Turning his face to look at the man, he said:

"What mistake?" in a surprisingly mild, yet firm tone.

"Running away." replied the man reading a newspaper. "Running away isn't like you Cedric." the man kept his face behind the paper.

"I was afraid," said the boy. "Do I have any reason not to be?" he was still calm, but prepared to bolt at the first opportunity.

"Well we can take care of your needs." the man said behind his paper.

"Tell me what to do, then...but remember that I'm running for it should I see anything suspicious," Cedric was both conceding, yet prepared to withdraw said concessions at the first reason to do so.

"Oh, and I guessed that you were tracking me."

"We knew where you were going. We put your face into the NSA database. Figured you'd leave via a smaller airport. Got a hit here. Luckily I was near." The man pulled down his paper. He looked like a regular man. Grey hair, a scar on his cheek, and a pair of sunglasses.

"We just want to talk."

Cedric nodded.

"This isn't a secure place. Mind taking me to your leader, then?" Agent Cartwright, which was who the man was, would - perhaps would - be thinking that everything is proceeding the way wanted it.

"Sure follow me." Agent Cartwright held out his hand for the boy to take it.

Cedric took the older man's hand, letting out a sigh of relief that the business had been settled.

"I am Cartwright." the agent led Cedric to his car.

"You know my name already, but mine is Cedric Wessex," Cedric finally let down his guard as he sat down on the car seat.

The car would drive off to a private airstrip, where Cedric would be taken to a small jet plane, where all his needs would be provided for. A few hours later, he would arrive at Area 51.
Sigh...I'm asking for the Moon/Luna, am I?

Sorry for disturbing you when you're tired and about to sleep; I'll just withdraw my interest in the RP.

@Jbcool
@Jbcool, Damnit. And, well, here is the bits of Canon Defilement I want to do:

1.) For perfect knowledge of Progressive Interpretations of Old Earth Religions and Friendly Atheism/Secular Humanism to exist in the Gol'Kut consortium despite 10,000 years of Imperial Rule.

2.) For the Gol'kut's ruling class to be secretly descended from the Interex and have Interex tech.

3.) For the Gol'kut to have Sensei and Illuminated (people who were possessed by Daemons but drove them out through pure willpower; yes, that's a Canon thing) and are now invisible to Chaos/Psykers in their ranks.
@Jbcool, The only way I'm playing a 40k RP is so that I can defile the Canon, defeat the Imperium of Man, and establish a happybright land of happybrightness where the Old Religions of Earth (or rather, progressive interpretations thereof) and Friendly Atheism/Secular Humanism are reestablished.

Can I have the Gol'Kut Consortium, then?
@Eviledd1984. all right.
Will move plot tomorrow.
It seems safe to say that @XxLyraxX wont be posting anytime soon.

What a shame; I liked Celeste and Oberon the best; no offense to everyone else - I like them better than my own characters as well.
@Mass City, *Nods*.

Did you at least get my PM?
Sky Citadel

The two former Enclave Vertibirds, as well as the Brotherhood APC, returned to an estatic Sky Citadel; whoops of victory greeting them, as the normally dour and stern Brotherhood blared the sounds of drums and trumpets through sophisticated sound systems. Only just yesterday, the enemy was about to surround them in a ring of iron and steel from which there can be no escape, but now, now, the Brotherhood was victorious.

And it was an outsider who was responsible for it.

Paradise 'Par' Rapids was the hero of the hour, having suborned one of the Enclave's officials into letting him free and revealing the existence of the secret tunnel, a secret tunnel that allowed the mission originally sent to rescue him to deal a deathblow to the Enclave's ranks by compromising their main base. Having proven his capacity for self-sacrifice by handing himself over to the Enclave's leader, he had turned humiliation and imprisonment to his own advantage, emerging unscathed.

Gabriel, too, would have received a hero's welcome, as he and Dogmeat had rendered Alan handless, but Par can detect something in their eyes, a discontent with the current situation. And so, as the Brotherhood began their victory feast, Par briefly conversed with him, saying:

"You're leaving, right?"

Gabe nodded, and said:

"Par, I'm glad you're safe as much as the next person, but I don't want war, I don't want to spend my life fighting. I want to be a healer, damnit, I want to help people."

"Besides, you can handle this on your own, can't you?"

"That I can..." Par's eyes, now able to see on their own without the help of shades, teared up. "I'll still be sad, though. Because I like you, I like you a lot."

"I thought you had a stick up your ass at first," was all the blond can answer, "but, well, you gave yourself up for us; I won't forget it."

"You're the most handsome person I met," Par told him upfront. "That's why I acted so badly when we first met; because I was jealous that you seemed to have a girlfriend."

"You mean Jenni?!" shouted a surprised Gabe, "you should know by now that we're just friends!"

"Yeah, realized that later on," Par said. "Anyway, goodbye?"

"Goodbye," Gabe said, as he made to slink away from Sky Citadel, Dogmeat in tow.

------

On Old Man's Corner, chaos reigned as the slaves and former slavers warred with one another once again to bring Enclave Salvage to Vor Shinse, although they were careful not to bring any bloodshed close to her face. In the meantime, Vor herself would notice Katherine nearby; perhaps she should greet her, if only to ask if she were ally or enemy?

David, meanwhile, might find himself wondering; what to do with this fertile land, for despite the blood and human misery, former Central Park was still fertile.

Then he (as well as the people of Sky Citadel), would then receive two new messages:

- One, that Liberty Island had been abandoned by the Enclave, who were so hasty, they didn't have time to blow up the slave collars of the people there, and instead fled so fast and so completely, the civilians had been able to destroy the radio transmitter controlling their collars.

- Two, that most of the remaining Enclave forces were gathering for a final stand at Vault 81, in Brooklyn. Elder Mavarek had already decided that they have to be purged as soon as possible; all available forces, including the Construction Droid, was to be deployed to a final offensive.

Quinn, as the messages reached him along with the noise of partying, would have to get back to work soon; the lasers and mortar had to be calibrated for battle, and the crane itself, it might (or might not) occur to him, might be of use grasping power armored opponents...

To those of you who've accepted Co-GM Positions, I'm going to have to ask you to assume more of a role; as the holidays end, my workload is going to pile up, with one RP starting up, and two more RPs - one on another site - adding to my list of games. Therefore, I am going to delegate more powers to my Co-GMs.

Instructions are:

- Make sure that Catherine, David, and Vor begin interacting with both the now free slaves of Old Man's Corner, and each other. Thoughts might also occur in their subconscious about what to do with the land itself, now that the fate of the slaves is about to be settled. Would they dismantle the settlement, or hold it? Or perhaps they can give it to the slaves as their own land?

- Rescue Jenni and Jensen from Vault 17, and either NPC them, give Jenni over to Hjalti (Simple Unicycle links her to the relevant posts), or let them fade into the background.

- Let Gabe and Dogmeat fade into the background as well once the rescue mission is over.

- Give all players time to prepare for the final assault on the Enclave forces arrayed at Vault 81. Thoughts might occur in their subconscious; would they be worried, or bloodthirsty, or optimistic? As for Quinn, get him working on the Construction Droid as soon as possible.

I myself will make a small post to move things along.
