Noble Arms is now either four years old, or three years and eleven months. The third thread had lasted for more than one year.

My Roleplay, Noble Arms: The ASEAN War, will reach its 4th year in June or July. It's been a long journey.

Despite its massive flaws, my RP, Noble Arms: The ASEAN War, is still one of the longest ongoing RPs in RPGuild - It turns 4 years old in July and the current thread itself is more than a year old.

As Osamu began to retort, alarms began to blare across the command room, as a hologram shot up of the Persona!Earth being attacked by a vast number of hostile alien lifeforms, which took the form of giant insect-serpent grunts and soldiers, along with flying creatures that hovered on giant wings. A second hologram showed that an entire space fleet was hovering above the planet as well, presumably overseeing the enemy operations.

A sigh; Osamu was tempted to continue on stubbornly, but one look at Minato - it was his world that was being attacked - and the boy knew that he would severely test the Persona User's newfound allegiance if he continued insisting that he can do everything himself.

"All right," spoke Osamu to Gin, "you're right, I'm out of my depth, and I should follow my betters." There was a bitter tone to this admission, but it was an admission nonetheless. "However, I cannot just allow Tokyo Tower, or Persona Earth, to be attacked like this; I have an obligation to Minato ever since I ressurected him."

He looked away, then, before saying:

"Boss Naoki, forgive me." Then, facing Mewtwo, he said:

"Contact the Elite Four, Team Ketchum, Gary Oak, and the Kanto Gym Leaders, and teleport them to Tokyo Tower with me and Horus. Then, you and Minato go to the remaining members of SEES and muster them against the threat of these aliens!"

<Are you sure about this?> Mewtwo said.

"As sure as I'll ever be! Think of this as my last duty for the Mon Alliance," Osamu was determined, though not so determined that he forgot to pick up a vial of his blood from the mini-fridge.

Timeskip

"Charizard, I choose you!" one Ash Ketchum yelled as he threw a pokeball at a group of flying Aliens, unleashing a flying reptillain creature with two large bat-like wings, a short neck, and a lizard-like head that breathed fire that would scorch even their reinforced exoskeletons (hopefully)!

"Gyarados, Hyrdo Pump!" his grilfriend, Misty, shouted as she threw her own Pokeball, unleashing a dragon-like beast that breathed water at a giant centipede-like enemy that was spraying toxic gas.

"Steelix, Dig, then Bite!" the brown-skinned Pokemon Breeder, Brock, threw a last Pokeball at a hole in the ground; minutes later, the steel-rock-serpent-like Pokemon burst out of another tunnel, grasping a tunneling, mole-like lifeform in its jaws!

"PI-KA-CHUU!" Ash's Pikachu, who was out of its Pokeball, cried out as it discharged a wave of lightning against another throng of aliens!

Osamu Akiyama and Horus, meanwhile, were flying above the conflagration, with Osamu saying:

"I'm glad you stayed beside me despite my current lack of a Demon Summoning Program."

"I'm an honorable Demon," Horus said. "Now, Medirama!" he cried out, unleashing a wave of healing energy at any civilians and local forces left standing!

Gary Oak, meanwhile, had unleashed all 200 of his Pokemon (he had special permission), and had divided them into teams, while the Kanto Gym Leaders were trying to clear out the city!

Back at Mount Coronet

"Osamu's going to kill himself and a group of good people if we don't help him," said Takeru, who was now facing Gin again. "So, can you give us back our Digivices and Osamu's Demon Summoning Program so that we can finally help?"

Just to clarify, is Tokyo Tower being attacked while the Mon Alliance is away?
Sorry for the short post; was uninspired today and might get busy tomorrow.
Henry was already inside the HFV Yukine, doing some last-minute diagnostics. Briefly, he gazed at the Valkyrie; it was a majestic sight, what with its reds, blues, and yellows, and he didn't know if he can beat Rising Star in a fair fight. He was tempted for a split-second to wave, but decided not to; he was not going to gain the 'rapport' needed to get the OSDT Jannah's captain to set up an observation post in this region of space if he acted unprofessional. Oh, did he forget to mention? It was this region which his parents insisted be the site of an observation post to look for more Alien signals.

Either way, he was hyped, but not so hyped that he would break protocol just to squee or otherwise communicate how he was hyped...

((Sorry for the short post))

Name: Henry Yatogami

Age: 19

Gender: Male

???: Yes

Skills: Henry Yatogami has mastered the art of fast-assault piloting (aka flying close to his enemy , is average at ranged combat with his HFV, but is a complete noob at hacking/electronic warfare, relying on others of his team to aid him in those matters. Not merely that, but while Henry can do basic repairs to his mech, he prefers the hands of skilled professionals handling it; he trusts them.

Outside of battle, Henry is an athletic person, skilled at swimming, fencing, and track-and-field. He is also average with pistols, as well as rapiers and katanas.

Appearance:

Personality: Henry is a kind person who is generous with his time, sometimes to the point where it can distract him from important matters. Raised with a strong sense of justice and morality, he is also confident in himself, while at the same time believes in the idea of 'True Companions', people who support each other during times of need, inside and outside of battle. Friendly to others, Henry's flaw is that he thinks others should respond to his friendliness in kind, among other 'too-idealistic' leanings. He is also a bit easily infatuated with both genders, but keeps it to himself in order to look calm and reserved.

One thing that would make Henry berserk, however, is the ill-treatment of prisoners; he considers such behavior fitting only for mercenaries and pirates.

History: Henry Yatogami was born in San Francisco, to a family involved in military research. Although possessing only basic knowledge of the hard sciences, his childhood interest in piloting ensured that he would follow in the footsteps of his parents in a roundabout way, trying to develop his body and mind to the levels required of a good pilot; Kendo and Fencing helped in this; clubs for both were regularly available in San Francisco. At the same time, though, his parents were having...major differences with their military sponsors; Henry's father, Hiroki Yatogami, had claimed to detect signals of extraterrestrial origin, and his wife and Henry's mother, Maria Yatogami, backed him.*

Because of their insistence that their findings be followed up, when there were plenty of alternative explanations other than aliens for the signals detected, Hiroki and Maria were transferred to CAPEI-related work, and Henry, their faithful son, decided to pass up a career in the US military to join the OSDT not just out of filial piety, but because he believed in his parents' capabilities independently of how much he loved them.

And so, the boy, at the age of 18, became an HFV Pilot, scoring high on stimulations, but fumbling a little on anti-pirate missions, where he insisted on taking the quarry alive, having to be pushed to kill. While over time, he became more willing to take lives, and even developed a 'killer instinct', his initial reluctance caused some resentment from the captain of the OSDT Gungnir, his initial station, although nothing came of it for a while.

Then, news came that Maria Yatogami found a breakthrough - or what she thought was a breakthrough, in her and Hiroki's research regarding Aliens. Problem was, this research required an observation post to be established in the middle of pirate territory, and the OSDT Gungnir's captain did not want her crew to be risked on a mission like that. And so, she forbade Henry from even pleading in their favor. When Henry turned to go, the Gungnir's captain made a remark about 'whackos and windmill crusaders', and Henry turned around, furious, his fists clenched. But, a milisecond later, he realized what he was doing, and stormed off, refusing to run, but not moving solemnly, either.

After this spat, the 19-year old boy requested a transfer to the OSDT Jannah; it was an impulsive, perhaps foolish gesture, but he recieved an affirmative. And so Henry Yatogami became the newest member of the Jannah crew...

*OOC Note: This does not have to be actual signals from Aliens; the Yatogamis can be wrong.

Model: Assault Mech Type-X 'Yukine'

Specialty: Fast Assault

History: OSDT Mech fitted with prototype tech fobbed off by the US Gov't to the UN.

Appearance:

Features:

Ophanim Propulsion System - A set of thrusters that allow the Yukine to move at speeds slightly faster than a normal assault mech, with engines that are more fuel efficient than what CAPEI's mechs usually have. However, a slight advantage and speed and more fuel-efficient engines, though practical, aren't anything to feel flashy about, but nevertheless, Henry still likes this system the best.

Reason it is in the OSDT in the first place even though it's so good: The US Gov't has better thrusters, and so it can afford to 'loan' this set to CAPEI as a token gesture.

Generic Sensors - Sensors that give visual, infrared, and ultraviolet readings.

Armaments:

Seraphim Beam Saber - A sword-hilt that can emit an orange glowing blade from one of its ends, the Beam Saber is one of the primary weapons of the Yukine, able to last longer than the usual beam saber, due to 'fuel efficiency'.

Reason it is in the OSDT in the first place even though it's so good: The US Gov't has better; plus, the blade does not have more cutting power than the usual beam saber, and cannot cut against beam-treated armor better than other weapons of its kind.

Generic Shoulder-Mounted Micromissile System - Generic Missle Launcher that sends out 24 small missiles in one go. Good only for one volley.

Generic OSDT HFV Assault Rifle - A Mech-held gun that has only as much damage as a 'grunt' HFV's weapon.

Generic Anti-Mecha Dagger.

Weaknesses: The Yukine is fast and resonably armored, able to shrug aside hits better than the usual 'assault' mech. However, it has no special forms of attack, except for the Seraphim Beam Saber, which is a situational weapon. Not merely that, but its generic assault rifle is generic, aka not able to do more damage than the usual pirate grunt. So, there you have it, good at everything except actual damage.

Why is it classified as an 'assault' mech, though? Simple; Henry uses the superior speed of the HFV to compensate for its weakness, using more attacks instead of a single, powerful, blow. Basically, 'quantity is a quality of its own'.

@Tyki@supertinyking

"My parents have been through hell, thank you very much, and I don't want them to have to go through such an ordeal again," Osamu Akiyama said.

"Implying that we haven't," Takeru spoke.

"To be fair, at least Osamu the Second's father had to deal with...a lot of stuff," Hikari was referring to Ryo Akiyama's backstory.

"Anyway," Osamu turned towards Cornwall, greeting him with a lot more respect than he did Gin, "all right, I can cooperate with Kishin Asura's group. And, I presume your words are proof that Khaine doesn't serve Malakai, then?"

Nerfed the Seraphim and Cherubim weapons, @Crimmy!

Unfortunately for khaine, gin seems to be teleported away mid sentence, forcibly teleported by something out of his control, and considering he'd been prepared to fight definitely not planned.

@Letter Bee@supertinyking

In the ritual room of mount coronet, rather than their effects being summoned, gin wound up appearing in the ritual cirle instead. "wait... what happened?..." The silver haired warrior asks confusedly, looking around and seeming to come to a realization "oh... guess you people didn't like my plan, oh well, decided against it half way through anyway, just kinda got bored. so what're we doing now?". That is until he notices 'cornwall' and asks "who let a demon in?..."

Osamu facepalmed a little at Gin's arrival.

"Cornwall's a demon? From what universe? Sometimes, in some worlds, 'Demon' is just a label."

"Also, I decided to go against your plan because, well, I have one of my own; it's not as good as I like, but it plays to my strengths as a thinker, tinker, and ritualist. Basically, we either attack King Malakai from multiple directions, lure him into attacking us first so we can trap him, or deceive him into thinking that we're going to attack from another place."

"Or, at the very least, ensure that our brave fighters don't forget to bring food, water, and the necessities of life like portable sanitation."

Osamu also remembered that Gin had asked for a Pokemon of his own.

"Oh, and if you want a Pokemon, you've come to the right place."
