Noble Arms is now either four years old, or three years and eleven months. The third thread had lasted for more than one year.

My Roleplay, Noble Arms: The ASEAN War, will reach its 4th year in June or July. It's been a long journey.

Despite its massive flaws, my RP, Noble Arms: The ASEAN War, is still one of the longest ongoing RPs in RPGuild - It turns 4 years old in July and the current thread itself is more than a year old.

No, just can't think of what to post. I guess we'll just launch and see what happens.

Thanks!
@TheUnknowable, waiting for anyone?
"Mai is a Keyblader and adept at melee combat, but hasn't learned how to use what we call Magic yet," spoke an irritated Tocsax. "Mac is also a Keyblader, but isn't as great in combat as Mai; he also hasn't learned Magic yet. As for me..." Tocsax then conjured up his own Keyblade, then surrounded himself in a tornado of light green air, "I'm a Keyblader as well and one of the most powerful here, although there are...constraints on using my power." And by that, he meant the fact that Leo was after him in order to turn his body into a Seeker of Darkness.

"We also have two absent members, Seth, a Sapient Nobody with special powers who can control sand, thanks to mentoring from my best friend Shahrukh, and Cheese, a Fae - a winged woman with more special powers from another world, who is also weak against metal, aka metal literally burns her skin."

"So, yes, I must admit our party is a bit weak right now."

"As for me," spoke Hakim the Wise, "I will not argue with children who do not see how necessary it is that Seth regrow his heart or die trying." And with that, he teleported away, by himself.

"So..." said Tocsax, "as we wait for Seth and Cheese to return, I must ask: what's your name? Mine is Tocsax."

@Rex, your turn again?
nah it should be fine, hopefully. Things have just been a wee bit busy on my end

All right.
"All right," spoke Alexander, "Ascot has a bolt of starfire ready for the device once the havoc starts, but you'll have to keep him close to you, Mr. Tra'cha."

"You're just going to leave me like that?" spoke the boy. "But, yes, if I can get close enough to the device when the operation begins, I can destroy it. Another idea, though, would be to have Alexis rig the device to destroy itself anyway..."

Alexander began counting the minutes again...

@TheUnknowable@Ashevelendar
"So, fifteen minutes, although it's now much less," said Ascot. "And the plan has been modified to rescue more slaves and snatch a second alien shuttle." His lips pursed.

"This is what I meant by seeing things, but not revealing what I saw for fear of things being changed. If I had revealed that you were going to modify the plan, then you would not have thought all of those unique ideas. That said though...a warning. Changing Tra'cha's card will fail; said card will be re-scanned earlier than usual."

Alexander, meanwhile, was still waiting for departure time.

@TheUnknowable@Ashevelendar
@Letter Bee"Let me tell you a story." Samuel said to everyone, but he thought Ascot in particular needed to hear it. "About three months before my fifteenth birthday I went on a supply run with General Sachi. Well, it was Colonel Sachi then. Anyway, we were supposed to buy RPGs and MREs from a group that had knocked over a national guard depot. Unfortunately one of the guys that we were there to meet had sold us out in exchange for his wife's release from slavery. We managed to fight them off and get out of there. Of course, then my mom wouldn't let ne go on another mission for almost a month, but that's a different story." Samuel sighed. "Just keep a cool head and remember your training, and I promise you'll get out alive."

"Thanks, sir!" Ascot said.

"And again, I'll be there," Alexander replied, before turning back to Sam and Tra'cha.

"So, when will the mission start? Are we heading out now?"

"I think it'll be later," Ascot spoke. "Anyway, so, we have you, me, and a technopath. It seems that this crew is a bit small, don't you think?"

"We probably have more people somewhere," Alexander stated.
@Ashevelendar"I thought about the computers too. The only problem I see is that if you do anything big they might think they are under attack. Slaves are one of the most valuable things there, and they'll want to keep their enemies from taking them. Unless you could make it look like a simple malfunction. Maybe a server crash or a glitch of some sort that ties up the slave buyers when they register in eight or so hours? If they get annoyed enough, they might have to call security."

@Letter BeeSamuel saw that the collar made Alexander uncomfortable. "Don't worry, Alexander" he said. We won't let them take you again. "I think Ascot should come with us, though. No one suspects a kid, the children will trust him more, and he's passed the basic training. Besides, I started going on supply runs when I was his age, and if we pull this off, that's all the Titanans will see this as."

Alexander looked at Ascot, prepared to ask if he had thought this through.

"It's going to be okay," said the younger boy. "You're going to protect me, right?"

"Of course I will," the soldier said. "But...please don't scare me by being reckless, okay?"

"Besides," spoke Ascot, "I've seen what would happen in a vision. However, I'm not revealing it yet, because if I do, you guys might change what I predicted early enough that it might become invalid."

"Even so," said Alexander, "stay close to me, and inform people of any complications."
"So, behave, like a good slave," spoke Alexander. "I guess I can do that. Also, I'm going along with Alexis' suggestion; it seems fair." In his heart, he was nervous about how the mission could go, as well as the fact that the team will have to choose between who to save. After all, choosing between lives; it just gave him an unpleasant taste in his mouth, necessary though it may be.

"Hard decisions have to be made," Ascot was there...and he was wearing a modified slave collar as well. Alexander tensed at that; it reminded him too much of his own days as a slave. Raising his hand, the older boy said:

"Sir! Are we actually letting Ascot into the mission?! Smart as he is, he could prove to be a liability!" He is a kid, after all.
