Current Noble Arms is now either four years old, or three years and eleven months. The third thread had lasted for more than one year.

My Roleplay, Noble Arms: The ASEAN War, will reach its 4th year in June or July. It's been a long journey.

Despite its massive flaws, my RP, Noble Arms: The ASEAN War, is still one of the longest ongoing RPs in RPGuild - It turns 4 years old in July and the current thread itself is more than a year old.

Ken

Typical, Nightman's 'cleanup guy' was trying to 'rub him out', but Ken Illustrious Ikari was not going to give up even though he cannot contribute to the battle except by enhancing others' powers. Or was that his only use? So as the mysterious girl blocked the orbs of darkness heading toward him, Ken analyzed the situation.

First up, they had to hold out until his timed messages got out, and the Vigilantes were alerted to his emergency call for help. His parents, who might have returned to their apartment sooner rather than later, might come to his aid as well, preferably with the Ame-no-Murakumo. Whatever the case, he was exhilarated by the thrill of battle and the anticipation of victory. For, if he can actually back up his ego with some wise analysis, he can probably speed it up.

He was in a room, with two chairs, a desk, and a larger table with Nightman's name tag. The room was artificially darkened by the enemy's powers, so it was hard to see anything which can serve as an improvised weapon, and the boy didn't have time to check if Nightman had taken away his smartphone (not that his timed messages could be deleted from a location other than his home; he had asked his parents to set things up that way). And were there any windows at all? Wait, there was, one with the blinds on!

Ken rushed towards the window and opened the blinds, hoping that the day was no longer cloudy. If that didn't work, he'd turn towards Rev and say, "There is a window! There is a window which can be opened!"

Martyn looked at the Bosun, his old enemy, and knew from experience that interfering would not do anything for Holly; not that it didn't make his blood boil to just see this happening. Either way, the young man was in his pilot suit - Even these goons knew that to be shirtless in space was suicide - And hooking his AVs up into his Man Rodi. As the cockpit closed, he waited for the order to launch, even as he looked over to see if he still had his secret stash of medical goods, as well as candy.

Being eighteen and good-looking had made it easier for him to charm those sorts of items, as well as extra food, from other people; not in a way which would be morally dubious and/or scarring, but just easier for him to sweet-talk the Free Pilots, especially Carrot.

He needed the goodwill of his Human Debris peers more than ever, with the institution of slavery illegal again and Gjallarhorn actually being tasked with freeing them. Because he was going to plan a revolt, a revolt once he had the measure of the Captain, the Bosun, and the Free Pilots (which may or may not include Carrot). Speaking of Carrot, at eighteen, he was probably old enough that he could probably ask her out on a 'date', once he was free, and it won't look weird or creepy. This meant that he could probably get her help in his planned rebellion by, well, resorting to 'romance'.

But first, he had to take out the lone ship or mobile suit which came into their line of sight, and whose Ahab signature was visible in his sensors - Did its pilot have a death wish? If so, Martyn needed the loot, especially if he can filch some of it for himself for use as bribes or gifts. But if it was a ship and it had civilians in it... Let's just say that Martyn had always held himself back from the act of enslaving other children and only killed when he could not avoid it.

Then again, it was the experienced, 'free' pirates who thought it was a privilege to indulge in that. Either way, when he had launched, he'd follow the Squad Captain's lead, hoping, deep inside his heart, that he was getting enough goodwill for all the Human Debris to participate in the planned revolt once he sparked it.

For there will be a spark; these pirates were not the only ones who've learned from the short-lived career of Tekkadan - He'd show them that the abused will bite back...

@Gisk, edited my post. Also, can you PM me your Discord name and Number so that we can talk about the game instantly if needed?
@Letter Bee Yeah, you're welcome here. The character is good, the gundam has a problem. The EAFS wouldn't be something installed in a gundam(or probably any mobile suit). The gundams were made late in the Calamity War, for the express purpose of fighting the rogue mobile armors. I just don't see anyone thinking that putting AI in one is a good idea, considering AI driven machines caused the whole mess.

This is true. Hmm, can we have it that instead of an AI, the system instead supercharges the Pilot's brain through their AVs at the cost of potential brain damage?
"Hello!" Andrew said as he waved hi to Carmen, noticing that he was no longer the youngest member of the group now. "What's your name? Mine's Andy!"

Do not neglect people. Do not let them feel left out. The fact that you were even considering it just because Wilbur is so damn cute is a black mark on your character, Andrew Bennett. Speaking of Will... Andrew then turned back to answer him and Scraprig and dropped the bombshell, "I volunteered. I'm an orphan living in the orphanage near the docks and I wanted a new home - Aka this place's dorms - and money. I know it's too late to get a family now that I'm 14, but I presume that I can get a bit of financial independence."

He then smiled at everyone and said, unironically, "And as Anime and TV Shows say, there is a high chance that you will be my new family. So take care of me."

Glancing at Caiden/Crosspoint, Andrew tried to measure the tall youth's personal hope, even as he pondered changing his hair to a silvery shade right now; he had been planning to do so when he started patrolling, but he was guessing that if he did this right, he could make it look like he was emulating his 'Senpai' by doing so... Or offend the guy beyond measure. After some thought, the boy decided not to do it. Instead, he said, "Anyway, if we're voting for a leader, I vote Overclock!"

He then glanced at Fukuda, knowing even at his current state of mind that the latter was cringing at his behavior because he was socially awkward and probably sounded like a nutjob. The boy at least hoped that he sounded wholesome and enthusiastic, not... Something which would turn off everyone.

It's not as if his thoughts about Wilbur weren't deserving of condemnation. Not because he liked another boy but because he was having these thoughts about someone he wasn't sure was going to like him back or even thought of other boys like... That. Actually, even if Wilbur did like other boys, he might not like him for some reason or other, like his social awkwardness, his oversharing (if he was oversharing) or just because he didn't like how Andrew looked.

Never did it occur to him that it was because he volunteered to be a 'Hero' in the first place or because Wilbur found him talking about them being his potential family cringe-worthy. Glancing at Wilbur and his expression for a moment, the boy then turned to the Director, "By the way, what's the pay? I haven't bought my own clothes since ever!"

A signal that he still regarded the shopping trip with Wilbur and the others as 'on' and wanted it to be such...

The Great Multiverse War - Saga of Battle!

Intro

A Multiverse in chaos!

Countless worlds and timelines burn under the threat of an alliance of villainy, a cross-world coalition that all too rarely asks for quarter or surrender, as they raze the universe to the ground. Tendrils of destruction have polluted the cosmos, and the tide of annihilation and entropy seems unstoppable. Scared and confused, unprepared worlds find themselves suddenly opened up to the vastness of not being anywhere close to alone. They cry out for heroes, saviors in their time of need, to rise up and defend their sovereignty and continued existence, and while some showed up, those few heroes were scattered, disorganized... and all too easily picked off.

Until recently.

A strange man -going simply by the name of "Interest"- appeared to many worlds, offering a way to join forces with those also seeking to preserve the basic right to exist. He has called upon the nations and worlds of the multiverse to resist the cold dark by forming an alliance, one that has come to be known as the New Multiverse Union Government (or N-MUG, as it is commonly referred to in slang). Even so, the worlds struggle with the tide of evil. And so, they have gathered a group of champions to act as surgical knives against the dark.

You are one of those knives. Villain? Hero? Oh, how these terms have lost their way. In truth, all the N-MUG cares about is survival and pushing back annihilation. To that end, they care not for the past, only the present. Any who are willing to fight for survival are treated with the highest honors, granted great leniency so long as their efforts destroy the enemy and benefit the alliance as a whole. And so, for reasons perhaps known only to yourself, you have joined this crusade and dedicated yourself to the mission of putting a stop to the wanton destruction.

------

Basically, this is an RP where you can play almost any character from almost any universe (restrictions are listed in The Rules); it is recommended that you join either the Imperium of Suffering or the New Multiverse Government, but you can make up your own faction if it is reasonable and not as strong as either Imperium or New Multiverse Government. Note that if you play a Custom Faction, you can eventually make it as powerful as the two 'Major Factions', but it will take a lot of hard work.

Power Levels

First up, original and canon characters are allowed, but ultra-powerful, ultra-perfect characters are restricted. My limits for what is allowed are:

- Able to carry entire cities on their backs for days on end.
- Move as fast as the speed of light on Earth.
- Travel interstellar distances by yourself and survive in space.
- Survive a nuclear explosion.
- Affect a city the size of New York with a single superscience/magical effect.
- Transporting large armies across universes by yourself

Characters more powerful than this are not allowed unless massively nerfed. As for characters who are just as powerful as this, only four PCs are allowed for the New Multiverse Government and Imperium of Suffering each, and four more are allowed in the game in general, as leaders of four separate Custom Factions. New custom factions beyond those four will just have to go without exceptionally powerful characters if they are made.

Rules

1.) No godmodding, powerplaying, metagaming, etc. etc.
2.) Anything above nudity must be taken to PMs.
3.) No OOC feuding! If you must argue, be respectful. IC, meanwhile, you can hate each other as much as you like as long as it doesn't seep over to OOC.
4.) Characters who are at the limit of what is acceptable will receive extra scrutiny, aka they are more likely to be rejected. Beware.
5.) Please notify me if you will be gone longer than a few days, I myself will let you guys know if I will be gone.
6.) Warhammer 40k characters are restricted; Warhammer 40k tech and magic is immensely powerful (according to fans) and might - might - outpower the majority of universes and make them impotent.
7.) Dragon Ball Z is restricted; Super Saiyans, Frieza's people, Kai's people, Buus, and Super Nameks are too overpowered for even this game. Everything else is allowed.
8.) Fate/Stay Night and other characters from the Nasuverse are restricted for the same reason as Warhammer 40k and Dragon Ball Z; they outpower the majority of universes as well plus some powers in Fate can destroy concepts.
9.) The Tone of the RP is 'Dark, but Optimistic'. Things are grim at first, but your characters are not supposed to be hopeless jerks about it, nor would basket cases be accepted. This world can be made fairer and its suffering will be reduced if the PCs do things right. So Imperium of Suffering Characters should expect to lose or die... eventually.
10.) Players control what elements of their PCs' home universes are brought in alongside said PCs in the RP. Should more than one player have characters from the same universe, they share control of elements of said PC's home universe. This is unless the GM interferes.
