Current Two days ago, Noble Arms is indisputably four years old, spread out across three threads, and the third thread is still ongoing and about to reach the endgame...

Can't believe that I actually got an RP close to its endgame, btw...

Noble Arms is now either four years old, or three years and eleven months. The third thread had lasted for more than one year.

My Roleplay, Noble Arms: The ASEAN War, will reach its 4th year in June or July. It's been a long journey.

@BrobyDDark, welcome back!
@Ol Judgeent, I must apologize, but I genuinely prefer Werewolf: The Forsaken 2e (Chronicles of Darkness/New World of Darkness).

That one has Werewolves be able to breed with other Werewolves and produce only 'Wolf-blooded'.

Or alternatively, Werewolf the Apocalypse 20th Anniversary Edition, but I'd probably prefer to be a Glass Walker or a Weaver-tainted Pro-Human Werewolf that dials down the Ecoterrorism.
@Constantine925, hello! You can always check out the existing RPs and how they're done, and see what fits your writing wants and needs...
@Sho Minazuki, I am going to make time to join.
Yeah... The very idea would be annoying indeed.
@GreyFox, good choice of name!
@BrokenPromise I definitely agree with everything you said, which I think is why no one does it.

Your idea of using an old RP as a world builder is pretty cool!

I know it's late, but I asked people for the right to use their RP Setting before; my most successful RP ever involved a setting I borrowed from a friend (who allowed me to borrow it) that I then redid most of the lore for, then retooled from an Academy RP to a War RP (although the location used for the Academy RP version is still canon).

So if you have permission, it's fine.

With all due respect, if someone like me, who isn't exactly the most-liked among some RP Circles here (and I admit I brought it on myself), can get enough players to keep a Group RP alive for two years and three months (and still ongoing), then the genre/platform/hobby isn't dying.

So, no, Forum RP isn't dying. My own game could use more activity due to some players being stalled by IRL matters (heatwaves, hurricanes, and stuff like that), but Forum RP as a whole isn't dying.
