Cyclonus Awakes

"Ughhhh..." groans the ex-Decepticon as he wakes up to a faint beeping noise.

Cyclonus has been literally living in a fallen, torn-apart building, which he calls "home", for quite some time now. Ever since he was brutally denied entry into the Nemesis by Megatron, he was forced to live here in the barren wastelands of what was once the grand world of Cybertron. What once were massive skyscrapers piercing into the heavens, and with the other transformers busily rustling around town, was now reduced to smoldering ashes, for it was simply all gone. Not ruined... just gone. Nothing more, nothing less. Cyclonus hasn't seen anyone for days, the last sign of life being simply turbofoxes and it has been several months since he saw anybody else out in the open. He did kill that one guy though, since it was hostile towards him... He didn't even want to be a Decepticon anymore. He was now simply on his own.

What Cyclonus thought would be the beginning of another scrappy day, was interrupted by this beeping noise. His visuals scan what the beeping was and where it was coming from. Scanners indicate that it was an emergency signal emitter and that it was coming from the Ark Hanger in Iacon. It has already been beeping for quite some time now, at least for several hours. This has gotten him to be taken off guard.

"But why there?" he wonders to himself, "Are the Arks coming back here to Cybertron? To pick up us survivors? To recolonize..?"

These were just some of the questions he was asking himself as Cyclonus sets the coordinates to where the signal was coming from. Iacon wasn't even that far, just a few miles away, in which his alt mode can reach it in almost no time.

"Whatever it means," he thinks, "It wouldn't hurt to check it out..."

With that, Cyclonus makes a running start to the edge of the building, leaps, and transforms into his alt mode, it being a Heavy Fighter Jet. The engines boom to life as he makes his way towards Iacon, unaware of the other survivors that were also heading towards the signal.

Eventually, he would unknowingly be flying over Prism, Turbulence, and the crew of Junkions. Cyclonus would've spotted them, but was actually too excited about what the signal could mean...

@pyroman Nice! I like the story that is going on. I could have Cyclonus spot them as he flies in his alt mode. Maybe he also happened to detect the faint frequency of emergency signal and happens to meet up with them. Maybe go into a little tussle until he convinces to the team that he's not a threat and joins them?

Alternate Form (Cybertronian Heavy Fighter Jet)

Former faction: Prior Decepticon; Currently Neutral

Role: Air | Offensive Support

Weapons and Tools:

• Laser Cannon (Alt mode only)
• 2x Single Missile Launchers (Alt mode only)
• Burst Rifle (Fires three rapid blasts of energy in one shot)
• Cybertronian Cross-Sword (Melee weapon of choice)
• Cybertronian Shield (Wielded in Bot form; stored on his back as additional armor)
• 4x Stun Grenades: (Available in both modes; Cyclonus can either bomb his opponent from the sky or throw them when transformed)

Personality: Cyclonus may look like an ominous, cold, and even an unstable former Decepticon, but underneath that ice-cold exterior, lies a deeper and surprisingly warmer interior. Being pretty old for a Transformer, Cyclonus is a deeply honourable and religious character, a strongly moral person in his own way but not a straight-ahead hero, but also very conservative and traditional. He sees the world in a very different way than most other transformers, both autobot and decepticons alike, which allows him to come off as borderline villainous at times without actually necessarily being wrong, just very, very different. Regardless, he has put aside the former Decepticon that he once was and goes about on his own journey to find out more about himself and the future that lies ahead.

History: Cyclonus of Upper Tetrahex, was forged and came of age in the order of Clavis Aurea as a very religious bot, memorizing the catechism of the Guiding Hand and worshiping in the shadow of the Metrotitans, before the great Cybertron War began. He initially served with the Decepticons, specifically under the allegiance of a warrior known as Galvatron (not Megatron), and it was at that time where he also met Scourge, where they would become very good friends.

Not much is known about the battles he and the others took during the War, but at one point, both Galvatron and Scourge had ultimately died in battle, the former dying at Optimus' blade, and the other being tossed down a chasm. Alas, the surviving decepticon grieved their deaths, but continued to fight on. During the time when the Ark and Nemesis flew into space, Cyclonus was unfortunately left behind after digging the grave for both Galvatron and Scourge, wherever he may be now. As he tried to get onboard, Megatron forcibly knocked him off from the ship's platform with his cannon, breaking one of the former Decepticon's left horn, leaving him falling right back down to Cybertron. The leader thought of Cyclonus as weak and somewhat of a "miserable crybot (crybaby)" for being attached to those two dispensable units and ultimately let him to rot on the planet.

Of course, Cyclonus survived the fall, and with it he felt betrayal against the Decepticons. Knowing that, he ultimately left the title of being Decepticon, and made his own path and life on the planet. While he left his former faction, he also wasn't feeling the need or desire to join the autobots, hence he chooses to be simply neutral. He now scours throughout the wasteland that was once his home, searching for who he really is... and maybe one day, a friend or two.

@rocketrobie2 Hey there! I was always interested in joining, I just wasn't sure when I could join. But here I am now! :D

The dinobot idea is still there man :) Probably go for a Predacon Dino however, just to make things more interesting. However, I have another idea relating to an actual Autobot Dinobot team, which is basically like the original team, but with different alt modes and vice versa. But the predacon dinobot is still a go.
